Rainy day today as a result, 8.09 TM miles.

SM177: If only I had control. I just noticed your weight changed, how did you break through your plateau. I've been so comfortable, lately I'm maintaining not really losing or counting calories for that matter.

sm177 03-25-2009 09:25 PM

Jackie -- I can't really say exactly what it was. I stopped dieting and just kind of eating whatever but within reason. I also started walking a lot more, probably 5-10 miles more a week. Overall I'm kind of confused about why it happened, I hate not being able to pinpoint what did it. I might go back to counting calories because I'm realizing this last 10 pounds really has to go:(. Do you still want to lose weight?

JackieRn 03-26-2009 08:26 AM

5.51 miles this morning.

SM177: I do want to get down to 115 just because that was my revised goal although I'm not sure if it'll make that much of a difference. I guess I'm concerned that if I'm not losing then I'm gaining and as long as I keep "dieting" then I won't go back to what I used to be.

You guys are doing so great!

3.2 miles of warmup, sprint/jog intervals, cooldown yesterday and 3.1 miles today (I'm going to start counting the .somethings!)

Wow everyone here is doing an amazing job! I have 935 miles to go this year- Tues was not too wonderful, only 2.5 miles, and yesterday I logged 3.25 miles. I need to try to increase my mileage to 5 miles on the majority of days.

Tues 3 miles
Wed 5 miles
Thurday nada

:) I have to count the .somethings, too - they make me feel better about myself for some reason!

7.76 miles for me, I reallllly wanted to do a long run but my body isn't allowing me, I'm just in so much pain and I think I'll have to take a few days off. It's so frustrating, I've fallen inlove with running and I can't imagine not doing it. Tonight I went to a quieter area of the city and turned off my music and just listened to my feet hitting the pavement, it felt amazing!

Yesterday was better for me--- 4.75 miles, so I have 930.25 miles to go for 2009. Hopefully I can manage 5 miles today!

19 miles this week. Wow, seeing it in black and white like this makes me feel a lot better about this week than I had been!

Thanks for the encouragement. I ran tues/wed/thurs/sat and every one felt hard. Today I'm going to do 5 miles and hope it feels smoother.

19 miles for me this week too! Not including dog walking miles.

midwife 03-29-2009 03:59 PM

4.3 for me!

sm177 03-29-2009 06:51 PM

5.25 for me, still trying to take it easy.

Also my dad did a 30km today and I woke up extra early to drive out and watch him. He finished in 2:09 with an average pace of 6:55 min/mile. For a 44 year old man it isn't too bad! My goal is to beat him one day!

With my OT hours and 3 miles...

151/1000 MILES

MBN 03-30-2009 07:27 AM

Breaking through the 300 mark! 304/1000 so far, with 116 miles in March.
It's really surprising how the miles add up as the weeks go by.
