I just did WATP for a mile when I woke up! I feel so much more energized than I usually do after drinking an energy drink!
And to think I thought going back to school would slow me down.

Hmm... I got these at a running store, actually. I had to stand on a balance pad and then run on a treadmill. They are my actual shoe size, though... I may need to call them today...

Cheers chickies!
I don't think you are way off base. I used to be the queen of the treadmill, I thought people who ran outside in the cold or in hot weather had lost their minds. Then I tried it for myself and felt that breeze, experienced the change in scenery, had people wave and honk at me and give me thumbs ups as a I ran, and I was hooked. I haven't been back on the treadmill since. I run in super icey cold conditions, sleet, snow, and even that is better than the monotony of the treadmill for me.

I know that treadmill running can be enjoyable and I've had that experience but because of each run I have completed in difficult weather and all the equipment available to make winter running more comfortable I don't see myself going back for now.

All I can say is, Primm and Jackie, I hope someday I like walking/running SOMEWHERE, and I don't care whether it's on or off the treadmill!!!

I concur, thinpossible! I HATE running, but I do it anyway. I want to learn to love it and embrace my inner runner, wherever she may be.

Grrr, I haven't gotten on the treadmill the last 2 days, although I did walk the dog for a few miles yesterday I'm not counting it towards my goal since I feel so lazy today. Tomorrow morn on the treadmill, 2nd stop after bathroom.

Finally started today - forced myself to the gym. Ran 1.5 miles and walked the rest. I am really going to have to push myself to get in the miles. I love setting a big goal though - no time to wuss out on it!
