Carol Sue I also have to whine down before going to bed. DH watches things on YouTube that he wants me to watch but he wants me to see them around midnight or later. He knows I get sleepy about that time and I tell him to show them to me earlier in the day but he never does. He apologizes but keeps doing it.
I like 3 bean canned salad so I would like the bean dish you make, but DH wouldn't eat it.
I may be stuck with a keto/carnivore woe whether I want it or not. My weight this morning was 160.6 lbs. I just can't allow my weight to continue to go up. Exercises still going well. I will have a whole week of exercises this week. I do believe I need to cut back to 2MAD, but not finding it easy to do at this time. I just have to keep working at it.
Carol Sue I hope you get some rest today. I do feel tired regardless of what I do and that may be the side effect of my infusion.
I've eat like I would never get another bite of food for too many days. Tomorrow I go back on carnivore. I refuse to gain the weight I've lost. Headed to bed.

Good luck with getting back on track tomorrow! It’s great that you're committed to maintaining your progress. Remember, one day of indulgence doesn’t undo all your hard work. You've got this! Rest well and tackle tomorrow with renewed focus.

We,went to Rodneys and I had wings. I only ate 6 and brought the rest home for Rusty. We started out to go to Texas Roadhouse but too much traffic. Rodney's turnoff is right where the traffic started to back up.
I've had canned 3 bean salad but the vinegar taste was too strong for me. This 5 bean is very similar but you adjust the vinegar to your own taste along with salt and pepper.
Trish, maybe your DH could save the videos he wants you to watch and you could watch them the next day.
I am upset that the first football exhibition game is tomorrow. That tells me that summer is over and winter is just around the corner. It makes me sad.
You are doing very good with exercise. That is where I have to get going. Maybe that would help with my energy levels. I am so very tired all the time. Every day he wants me to go somewhere and I feel like in going to drop. I need a break from all this.

I slept ok last night. I used my Cpap but did not take anything. I fel asleep and forgot to take Benedryl. When I got up to potty I went right back to sleep and forgot again. This is how I want it to be. Not getting into a habit of taking a sleep aid. If your body is tired you should sleep without help. The same applies to eating. If you don't eat you get hungry, and that tells you to eat again. When you are no longer hungry you stop eating.
I have my days mixed up. It doesn't feel like Friday, but thats because we went to Rodneys. Even the hostess mentioned that we were there on the wrong day. The bartender we know was not there and neither were the people we know that come in for a drink after work. I wondered about that last night and just realized why. Sometimes the bar gets so crowded there's standing room only.
Have you been watching the Olympics? I rarely watch it but I love the gymnists. It makes me wish I had become a gymnist. There are no fat gymnists!😥
Carol Sue I'm glad you were able to sleep last night. I do sleep good at night except I do wake up once or twice during the night to go potty, but the only thing I take now at night is one magnesium and my bp medicine. I think the exercises I do each day also helps with my getting a good nights sleep. I never have any problem going right back to sleep after getting up to go the bathroom.
No we haven't watched the Olympics this year. Not sure why since we also like the gymnastics. DH has a DGD who was a gymnast and I was surprised she didn't go for the Olympics. I told her many times that they didn't offer all that when I was young, but I was always doing stuff like that on my swing set when I was in school and was as active as I was offered. Everything was for the boys back then.
I had my keto breakfast. Won't do 100% carnivore but will use it as a guideline to my keto woe. My carbs today will be net 18 g. Weight was still 160.6 lbs whew. So it is time to get busy before it goes any higher. I will eat some carbs such as veggies because I think they are important, but I will keep them low around 30 grams total.
I hate I get off on what day I'm living. I felt that way many times last month when trying to get everything before I started back on chemo. One thing chemo treatments does for me as it gives me a schedule for each week.
Got to get my exercises done for today which will give me a whole week of exercises met. I'm so used to doing them now that I actually miss it when I can't do them for some reason. I think it might help you feel better Carol Sue if nothing else it will make you feel good about your self which is part of feeing good.
Have good day everyone.

I'm so excited that I had to share. I was doing my HIIT leg lifts I do with ribbon while sitting in chair and I noticed that my leg kick is higher than it has been in quite some time. Not a bad accomplishment for this almost 81 yr old woman. YEEPEE!!

Trish, my DH is the same age as you for 4 months. He will be 82 on December 28.
We ordered fish from my favorite place where we used to go years ago. We quit going there because traffic coming home was terrible. DH suggested it today even though he had fish at Rodneys yesterday. I was happy. I like Disney's fish but there are other things I would rather order.
I hope I sleep good tonight because DH has to get up early tomorrow for the yard sale.I can't wait til the yard sale is over. I will probably help him with it even though I dont want to. In past years he would come in the house and leave me out there alone. I don't know how much he wants for things and didn't know what to tell people. I just want the stuff gone!I don't know if any of the neighbors are participating. Its better when everyone does it. It attracts buyers to our street. Actually, we have so much stuff we need another day to sell it all. Im for donating it to Goodwill but DH says "Someone will give you money for that, " and its true. The attic is full of stuff too but it's mostly Christmas Decorations. I told the kids they are going to inherit it all.
Carol Sue We could have a yard sale but neither of us likes working them. I have no idea how much to ask for things. I used to give stuff to DBS and she would take it to her DS & DDIL who just died. I don't know if she sold it or gave it to any of the kids who wanted the things. As for me, I would box it all up and take it to Goodwill or Salvation Army or some place like that. I guess DH kids will ditch it when we are gone.
We just got our electricity back on. We had a short thunderstorm and lightning struck a power box across the street and it took them a good 8 hrs to fix it. It took them about 7 hrs to figure out where the problem but only about an hour to change out the box. I thought it was fixed but it just went off again. I hope they get it fixed soon.

I hope you get your power back on, Trish. I hate that.
DH just informed me that he wants me to take care of the money for his yard sale. None of my stuff is being sold. He made this decision by himself, but I will help him. He said all the work is done. But he doesn't want to handle the money. He was going to leave all the stuff in the garage but I told him he will have to watch that no one takes his tools. He will get distracted and his tools, will go out the door. So he's going to take it out to the driveway. As soon as you open the garage door they are waiting out there. The first group is the dealers trying to find good things cheap that they can resell for more money. After they leave you get the true shoppers. We used to go to yard sales and flea markets until we started going to Goodwill. Goodwill has different things every day. They accept all donations. Salvation army does not. They look at what you have and tell you yes or no. What Goodwill doesn't want they send to another location. They no longer accept furniture except small chairs like kitchen chairs or end tables. Salvation army takes all furniture. I don't know what DH wants for things but he said he just wants to get rid of it so sell it cheap. Anything that doesn't sell is going to Goodwill. You can tell people to make an offer. I don't think the stuff he's selling is worth anything. A lot he bought at Goodwill and doesn't want anymore. Sellers complain that buyers want you to give it away, and buyers complain that sellers think their junk is worth more.
I agree that exercising will make me feel better both physically and mentally. My knee has been terrible lately. It didn't hurt for years but just wasn't very flexible. One w it hurts and is not flexible. DH makes me go places to walk but that makes the pain worse. I need exercise but not putting extra pressure on it. Someone online just had knee replacement and said it is much different from how it used to be. But you have to take the shots first and if they don't work they do surgery. The shots will spike my sugar. I was shocked that my sugar was 108 this morning. Its not been that low in ages, but I took G at bedtime without testing first. I usually test before taking it. I just assumed I needed it after I ate dinner.
We got up early so we could relax and have coffee before starting at 8:00. I also had scrambled eggs.
Electricity back on around or after midnight last night. I looked out this morning and there are 3 boxes... one looks new and 2 look older. All that tells me is that there will be more work to be done sometime in the near future since it take a crane to move the boxes. Looks like it could be a make shift job until a part comes. Who knows. At least it will give my battery for my chair long enough to charge so that when the electricity goes out, I will have time to lower my chair and I learned not to raise it back up until I know the electricity is fixed. Thank God my kindle was charged enough that I could entertain myself reading. Just thankful they got it fixed so we could sleep. I slept like a baby, but woke up at normal time to get up this morning. Also have learned to keep the house as cool as possible and don't open doors when electricity goes off. Keeping the doors closed holds the cool air indoors when you have no breeze.
Carol Sue Glad you got a good nights sleep and your FBG was good as well. I hope all goes well for your garage sale. How long do y'all plan to keep it going?
DH and I talked last night and I'm not sure exactly which way we are going to go with our eating. He needs to watch his bs as well. I had a c of collagen coffee and a Premier Protein drink this morning. I guess they have lowered the fiber in them as I thought they had 5 g but seems to have 3 in chocolate and the other one I drink which is caramel has only 1 g, and it has high sodium. I had planned to have the chocolate for breakfast (it has 180 g sodium) and then drink the caramel for supper but that will make my sodium pretty high. So not sure I will do that or not. We are having homemade double cheeseburgers for dinner today because we need to use the ground beef so it won't go bad. I think I'm going to use Zero carb tortillas for my buns. I have the calories to eat bread, but it will raise the carbs pretty high. May just watch calories and stop worrying about carbs. Not sure.

Trish, do you ever freeze your ground beef? I make it into party's and wrap them then put them in a double freezer bag. Or I make a larger package to use for meatloaf. DH will no longer eat hamburgers made with frozen meat but I use those frozen patty's for in chili or meat sauce for spaghetti . I hate throwing it out.
We didn't sell anything else and we quit around 1. It was advertised to be until 3. Some people get mad when you close down early but its a long day to sit there when people aren't buying. This is the worst we've done in all the years we've done this. $85 is better than nothing. DH has some things to put away and has the rest packed up to take to Goodwill.
There was this one exercise thing that I wanted to sell for $5-10. But I think it is what caused my bowel to perforated when I had diverticulitis and had to get the colostomy surgery. It is an ab exerciser and I used it a day or two before my pain started. I can't be sure but I don't want to ever use it again. And I wouldn't want that to happen to someone else.
By the way, I went into MFP to enter my food for today and it seems I have not entered any food since Aug 4. I find that hard to believe because I miss a,day occasionally but not 6 days with no entry. I took a guess on my days streak and updated it and best as I could remember I entered food for Thursday, Friday and so far today. I have to be more careful. I depend on that to update to my Fitbit account.

Sorry your garage sale wasn't as good as usual. I think people are holding on to their money because they don't know what is going to happen with our economy.
I am tired of worrying about carbs and counting or manipulating macros, so I am using MFP just to count calories. I kept the calorie high at 1600 for those off or high days and worked at keeping calories within a moderate amount of calories per meal. I am joining some FB groups that just count calories to see how & what they eat. Todays calories were 1223 and I ate them within 8 hrs with just 3 meals. I'm tired of playing with all the things people do and just want to enjoy eating some of the foods I like and try to keep my calories around 1200 most days. I saw a group that I think I want to do which is low fat and high protein woe. High fat is just too rough on my gut.
The ground meat I had were special patties that were made by the local store and I had frozen them. I bought them because they are big enough to divide in half to make a double CB, but they were difficult to form like I wanted as they were too lean. I will look in the frozen section next time I go and buy the thin patties like my DBIL uses when he cooks for his bunch. I agree those can be broken up and cooked for spaghetti sauce or some other ground beef dish.
You should sleep good tonight after your busy day. Goodnight.

7am, our Security camera went off. Front camera. DH looked out the window and said "The house is surrounded by Police.". He got dressed and opened the front door and the cop asked to come in. He,said *" We got a call from Angel that there's been domestic violence.". He came in the house, then the 2 other cops came up to the door. Then they said "Wrong address.". And they all left. I told him, they could have shot him when he opened the door, depending on what the caller had told them. My SIL is working overtime today or he would have heard the call of domestic violence at our house. He is fire chief so he hears all the police calls. When DH had his first heart attack he heard the ambulance call. He went home and got step daughter and then they came over to our house.
WOW I agree that could have been bad. You hear of so many situations that go on like that these days. I'm so thankful y'all are okay. I hope they made it in time to the address where they were needed.
Weight down to 158.6 lbs today. I am finding that my body likes the way I am eating right now so I will continue eating this way. I thought I would eat breakfast this morning, but ended up drinking the Caramel Premier Protein shake. I need to use them and then I will only use the chocolate ones. The Caramel has only 1 g fiber and way too much sodium for me. I am surprised that the chocolate only has 3 g fiber as I thought they had 5 g, but the sodium is less than 200 mg so I could drink 2 of them a day to get the protein without any problem with the sodium. Some just count calories and some do low carb/keto. The only problem I see on one of them is that they break the rules and are rude to people who don't do keto. Don't know that I will stay on that one.
Total calories yesterday was 1223 and today will be 1125. I'm finding like some on a FB group who say they have a difficult time getting up to 1200 calories.

So many times the Pittsburgh police respond to a domestic and when the perpetrator appears they shoot them. One time 3 officers showed up and were shot and killed. The house they went to was sold recently and I dont know the people. Its 3 houses down from us.
I have Quest shakes and Pure Protein. Quest is 170 calories, 30 protein 4, carbs and 1 fiber. Pure is 140 cals, 30 protein,6 carbs, 3 fiber, so both are 3 net carbs. As far as I know I will stick with Pure but will finish the Quest.
I cooked chicken legs for Rusty. I cut the meat off. I just took them out of the oven and here comes DH eating one. He does not eat dark meat or chicken with a bone, but he does now! He usually eats boneless breast or tenderloin. Will wonders never cease!
