flower1 It's great to hear from you and to hear you are doing great! Way to go on your weight loss!! I know it's harder since you are basically at your ideal weight range already. Those pounds won't fall off as easy as it would for me at my weight. Your scale sounds awesome! I know it's got to be great feedback for you.

KStong I can understand being anxious about the next decade, you've got this and it's all in your control! Looking forward to see your big update!

As for me, the scale that was going up a bit and down a bit has now settled at 201.6. It was that yesterday and now today as well, so I guess it's official. LOL On another thread we post our monthly goal and I said I'd like to see 202 for September when it was 204 at the beginning of the month. It's great I beat that, but now my mind goes to "get to 201 by the end of the month." We will see!

on meeting your September goal, L&L's Mom! You are doing fantastic and I know you'll meet any bonus goals.

I love that we are still happy with good healthy losses as opposed to these newbies that are disappointed when they don't lose 20 pounds a month.

I was thrilled with my scale numbers this morning and had the best weekly loss in a long time that wasn't from a water gain (2.6 pounds!). My daily average calories for September is right at 1300 now and my body seems to like that...right now anyway.
Have a great weekend everyone!

KStrong Thank you! I totally agree with what you said about being us being happy with small healthy losses and not being unrealistic. Sure, we'd love to lose big every month but our bodies don't work that way. You are doing awesome to lose that much in a week being at a lower weight! Have you lost 100 pounds? Sorry I can't remember what you said your starting weight was but I thought it was close to what mine was.

I was 201.6 for three days and then today it was 202. I sort of giggled at it really. I want to see it go down and know my calories were fine...it will drop again soon. Once again, I'd much rather be 202 vs 264. An 18 vs 24...the lower numbers will come!

Thanks Carol!

L&L's Mom - Great attitude as always and thanks! I always think the same thing about where I'd rather be even with my skin issues.
I was down 118.3 plus pounds on Friday.

Have a great week!

My scale gave me a 25.9 BMI this morning. First time I've seen a 25.x since I started keeping up with it.
Seven pounds away from a "healthy weight".

Carol Thank you!! That's so sweet!

KStrong Yes we can't change the past, so why beat ourselves up over it? That is so awesome at 118 plus pounds! Honestly that is almost my 16 year olds weight. She is 5'6 and 125. Think of it that way, you've lost the weight of a small teenager or very small adult. I don't know how I'd like not to know for sure what the highest weight was. I am probably OCD or something..."I wonder if it was really 290" would bother me.

As for me...slightly annoyed at another uptick. I was 203.4. My calories have been fine so I know it's got to be water weight and maybe not as much fiber, etc...I know the drop is coming so I am not giving up.

A quick update...it was so negative saying I was the same weight day after day...then it was up! I couldn't believe it and then it was up again. It's so defeating when you feel it's "not deserved." I am glad to say it's back down again. So I was 202.2 this morning. Doing the math, I can lose one pound a month for October-December and be 199 by Dec. 31st. Fingers crossed!

L&L's mom - I agree it's annoying when you see a small uptick on the scale when you've been on plan. It was probably only water since it's back down again. You can get to your goal by Dec 31 - keep on going.

KStrong - congrats on your huge loss of 118.3 lbs. That is so awesome and a lot of very hard work Also congrats on you new low!

As for me, I lost 1 lb over the past week and weighed in at 124.6. Since I'm close to my goal, I'm not expecting that I will continue to lose 1 pound a week going forward but I would like to lose between 1 or 2 lbs a month so I can get to 120 by December 31. I think I only exercised about 2 times this week so I'm going to work on increasing that.

flower1 Hey there! Thanks for the encouragement, I can use it. I was down and now back up a bit. Up and down, oh well! I KNOW I am doing fine with calories so it will go down. I will work on exercise now too. I haven't really been exercising only working on doing more activities like yard work etc...but I know I need to increase it if I want to see the scale move down again. You have the right mindset to make your goal one pound a month. I think that is a great goal because basically you are "training" for maintenance once you hit your goal. A big congrats on your one pound loss and the 124.6!!

KStrong I forgot to mention your 25.9 BMI! To be that close to a "healthy weight" must feel amazing. I am almost that way for getting to just "overweight." LOL

Welcome back, Denise!

Thanks L&L's Mom and Flower. Y'all are doing so well!

I'm having some weird water retention, but I've been on plan so I'm just going to be patient.

Welcome Denise! Actually, you said you are returning so welcome back! Me too girl! In the past year I have lost 62 pounds which is a mini miracle and I seriously think part of it is the "therapy" of coming here and writing how you are doing (good and bad) and encouraging others, etc... When I was younger I have lost 50 pounds (several times over) in 6 months but then a year or so later it would almost be back. Hopefully it's getting into my hard head I have to do what I did to lose the weight to maintain it!

KStrong I am glad you checked in! The dreaded water retention, glad you are being patient!

I have no news really, just checking in. My weight is now hovering around 202. Six days ago it was 202. I've had some higher sodium foods I like which caused water retention and the weight went up to 204. The calories were good so I know that is what it was. Today that bloat was gone and back to 202 again. I seriously will be SUPER THRILLED if I get to 201 this month. Like winning the lottery. LOL

Quick drive by on my phone. I'm still up about a pound from last Friday but much better than earlier in the week.

Have a great weekend!

I guess I didn't want to jinx it but it seems to be official...I am officially under 201!! I was 200.8 and then today 200.6! I can't believe 199 is so close now! I plan to keep up watching the calories and hopefully I will keep inching downwards. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's good news too.
