Ronja: I am glad that she is recovering well! Sending hugs to you both.

I think yesterday was just a temporary bloat fluctuation, because weigh-in was back down to 234.2 today. Already got in a 3.2 mile walk today with my husband to make up for not going yesterday, and I think that is good enough for Easter...lol. Speaking of which, I hope you guys are all having a good day today! We're not really doing anything, so there are no holiday dinner foods to try to navigate, just the sweets from the kids' Easter stuff -- and, I have committed to only swiping a single Ferrero Rocher and a little packet of gummy bears today, so I will have a little treat without just stealing off with a whole basket of goodies, lol.

MumofMany hello there! I wanted to say hello because your nickname caught my eyes, and also because YAY, somebody who is using kgs! I hope to be where you are weight-wise in two months or so. Mum of how many are you, if you don't mind me asking? I have five little girls myself. Focusing on weight loss while being busy all day long has been somewhat challenging but I started with 115 last year so I made some progress.

Yesterday I ate jelly beans, cadbury mini eggs, 2 crescent rolls and a serving of mashed potatoes. And some doritoes. I'm thankful the gain was only .5 lbs! T

Today I'm trying to get in a run. Tonight we are going for pizza for my son's birthday. I will have salad and one small piece. I am also making him a chocolate cake - I will have one small piece. And then the rest of the week on plan - hopefully that will be enough to start losing again!

Oooo... Hello! I'm a momma of 8, 5 boys and 3 girls - it's always nice to "meet" other mums of many! What ages are your girls? My kids range from 16 (tomorrow!) down to 2 years old.

Well done on the massive amount you've lost so far - not much further to go now! How are you feeling now you're almost at your goal? It's quite hard using kg isn't it... It always feels like such a small number when you see people posting 3lbs here and there and you're like "I got 0.8kg loss".

I feel miserable. I don't want to drink water but at least the pain is tolerable.

Thanks for the encouragement ophelia and kfunk. I'll try to not be too down on myself. Today I'm going to a party. I'm bringing a rice dish which I won't be able to have any of. I started back on dairy today though so when I go shopping on Thursday I'll definitely be getting some yogurt for my morning smoothies. Right now I just really wanna see my 2-teens (under 220). Hoping for that by the coming Monday.

nancymlrn: Maybe this can be a brand new start!

Anmyreah: Sorry you had a bad weekend...hoping this week is better for you.

babyredangel: I imagine it was probably a larger loss, and you're just seeing a bit of a fluctuation from the holiday and TOM approaching. Hoping it all flushes out by Monday!

MumofMany: Ours was alright -- we didn't really do anything, but we got the kids a few little treats so they could celebrate a little. The two older ones are a little old for egg hunting and such, but our youngest will be 3 next year, so we may actually do that next year when he can get more out of the holiday...lol. How was your family's Easter?

nicoley73: Hope you're able to get your run in today to help mitigate the yummies from Easter and your son's birthday, lol. You can do it!

debest: Hoping that you feel better tomorrow and that you're able to hit the teens soon or at least once TOM clears out of town...you're close, so I'm sure you will get there before you know it.

The last 5 days or so have been super difficult. I got down to 261.4 at the middle of last week. And then every day since then I have been eating **** and drinking alcohol. Some of my coworkers had been wanting to go out the last few days, and I can be rather antisocial sometimes (not to mention I'm dirt poor currently as well) so I decided to go out and just let loose. So every day since last Wednesday I have been either going out to eat or drinking, sometimes both. Currently I'm back up to 265.4, but I know a lot of that is just bloating from the extra salt intake and all the alcohol. Going to spend this week being pretty strict and drinking a ton of water to get that extra weight off and still make my end of the month goal!
