Just a quick check-in today...will do personals later or tomorrow!

Weigh-in was 241.0 today. The severe weather predicted for today has mostly stayed a little south of us, but we've been having on-and-off rains. Hoping it stays that way! We'll see what this evening brings. The kids didn't have school today due to the expected weather patterns, but it seems they would have been fine to go...they are - of course - still happy about getting the day off, though! Haha.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well! I forgot how much losing weight gives me a touch of insomnia, at the beginning anyway! I'm only getting 7 hours compared to my usual 9😂

Just checking in to say hi really, things are going great this week, I'm only weighing weekly but really feeling my clothes fitting better already. I have my first half marathon of the year on Sunday, that I've barely done the training for, so not really looking forward to that😖 But at least I'm a few pounds down so it'll be easier than it would have been last week!!🙄 Have a good day everyone!!x

Ok my body thinks it is the weight gain challenge....really I am working out (did not do that last month) still eating op. then poof spike up and only 1 out of the 3 gain comes off. Drinking my water carbs 12-15 per day, calories 1100 to 1500 and eating clean! nutso

I applaud your raw vegan lifestyle. I don't have the fortitude for it. What got you started on that track?

Went out for to dinner, drinks, and trivia with my boyfriend last night...enough said. Normally only eat half of my meal but ate the whole wrap (left the fries). Knew as it was happening that it would mean an uptick on the scale. I know better. Oh well. Gotta pick myself up and do better today and the days that follow.

I've been unemployed since 12/6 and just found out my start date at my new job is Tuesday 4/11 - CANNOT WAIT! It's so incredibly hard to lose weight when you're at home constantly and don't have funds to get out of the house and occupy yourself. All of that being said, I seem to have lost 5-6 pounds (even with today's weigh in) since January and kept it off. So I guess, as long as those are still off, I can't be too upset.

Looking forward to being busy again and not stuck at home day in and day out. Hopefully the scale will show some change also.

brd88: Best of luck with your raw vegan adventures! I've been wanting to try it for awhile, and the last time I was on 3FC back in 2013, I was just about to make the switch to vegan instead of just vegetarian but then I got pregnant and decided to wait...lol. (Which, as my signature states, ended up derailing me until my long overdue return to 3FC right before the first of this year...so, haven't gotten back to that point yet.) It is still a goal of mine, at least to try for awhile. Let me know if you come across any amazing recipes during this month's experiment!


kfunk6113: Awesome, that is the one that I have! I got it mid-February, and I really like it so far. It's what has kept me up and moving so much more since I got it.

Weigh-in was 238.6 today, which is a pretty big whoosh, and I am certain it will jump back up a little tomorrow. I weighed in about an hour later than usual today, and I barely drank any water (only 6) yesterday, so I know I am also dehydrated. Hoping that I get to keep some of the drop, but am not getting attached to this number in the meantime...lol. It would be nice to stay under the 240 mark tomorrow though, so keeping my fingers crossed for that!
