Just checking in and waving all around. I do read all of the weights and it looks like overall we are an awesome bunch aren't we? I was up a pound this am but I know it has to do with sodium which will take 3 days to go away. The crab and goat cheese was worth every bite LOL
Oooo... Hello! I'm a momma of 8, 5 boys and 3 girls - it's always nice to "meet" other mums of many! What ages are your girls? My kids range from 16 (tomorrow!) down to 2 years old.
Well done on the massive amount you've lost so far - not much further to go now! How are you feeling now you're almost at your goal? It's quite hard using kg isn't it... It always feels like such a small number when you see people posting 3lbs here and there and you're like "I got 0.8kg loss".
Wow, 8! Congratulations, you're trully blessed! Seems you have everything from toddler tantrums to teenage emotions in your house, that must be so much fun at times All my girls are just 4.5 years appart. The oldest twins are 5 (soon 6), my second set of twins are 2 (soon 3) and my youngest one turned 1 in January. It's gonna be so much fun when they're all teenagers...not!
You're totally right about progress in kgs being so slow! But on the other hand, I like "I weight 98 kgs" better than "I weight 216 pounds" I'm quite surprised you use kgs when you're in England, all my British friends seem to be using pounds! I've so far met only one European and one Canadian who use kgs on this site. I'm in the Czech Republic so I have had to learn to use pounds to be able to keep people's progress on here.
My 95 kgs mark is approaching and I can tell I have lost weight, my clothes are getting big and I will have to buy new pair of jeans really soon. But for me, 95 kgs will be just getting back to my pre-children weight, and I would really like to continue losing. My sound plan is to reach 85, I used to be that weight at university and it felt ok. 75 would be a dream but I'm not sure it's at all possible for me - I'm determined to keep trying though

A miracle has just happened. I had a really, really bad day yesterday. I was tired, I was cranky, and ate a lot at home and than we went to a party and I went food crazy there! I had perhaps three pieces of cake and I ate to the point of feeling uncomfortable with a too full stomach. Yet my today's weight in is same as tomorrow. Well perhaps if I hadn't eaten quite so much I could have seen a drop today, but I will take no-gain as a victory for now!
I'm back. At this point if I get back down to my starting weight I'll be happy! It's been a rough few days...I'm tired a lot (get my b12 shot today)...I am sluggish...just ready for the week to end.

I threw away the rest of the easter candy. I did go for a run, but that's about the only positive for yesterday - except for sticking to my 8 hour eating window. Today should be better. Last week was spring break and was easy to stay on plan. I am definitely a stress eater and my stress levels are higher this week!
Weigh-in was 233.6 today. I weighed in about half an hour earlier today and am planning on weighing a full hour earlier tomorrow, so I can start weighing in at 2pm instead of 3pm. With all the games and practices in the evening, I need to move my food times around a bit. And, I may move them up again in the near future to 12pm or 1pm depending on how this goes. My window is getting tricky to work with lately. We'll see what happens as I start moving it around!

I failed yesterday's fast, was just too tired. I don't mean this to sound like an excuse but losing weight with little kids and a breastfed toddler is quite a challenge. So I made it a day of light eating instead of a fast. Still lost a pound so all good. Will try again tomorrow.
The slow downward trend begins again! Hopefully I can get to 147 this week. My goal of 10 lbs is seeming less acheivable but I will be happy with 8. I've not been very disciplined this week but as long as I'm losing I'm not going to beat myself up.
Hi,gardenerjoy! I readjusted my goal to 154
Hi, kfunk! Hope you're doing well! Ronja, I don't think that's an excuse at all! Being a mom is a serious job! I think you're doing well.
I am down to 157.4 today! Since I know I am firmly in the 150s, I am going back to weekly weighing again.
Happy Wednesday, everyone!
kfunk6113: Thanks for checking in! Hope you're doing great, as well.
Ronja: I'd say it all evened out in the end, so good job! I can't imagine how much harder it would be trying to fast while breastfeeding, so I commend you on your efforts!
nicoley73: Glad it's moving down!
brd88: Congrats! You're doing great.
Nicholsfamily1987: Nice whoosh!
gardenerjoy: I passed my goal today -- I always forget to tell you directly, but I actually remembered this month! Haha.

Weigh-in was 232.6 today, so down a pound. However, instead of doing my weigh-in an hour earlier today like I was planning on, I ended up actually weighing in almost an hour late because of an oil change that took way longer than I expected this afternoon...whoops! I was starting to get faint by the time I got home because I hadn't eaten anything yet, so I will definitely plan ahead a little better next time. I'm expecting a bit of a bump back up tomorrow because of the late weigh-in today, but we will see. But, for now, that means I have officially passed my goal for the month! So, yay...lol.

opheliaphoenix congratulations on reaching your goal for this month! Following your progress has been an inspiration for me. Thank you for your kind words about breastfeeding, I don't think I could do this while I was breastfeeding a newborn, but my baby is 14 months now and she only feeds 3-4 times a day so that's not too much. I would say it's the lack of sleep that gets to me more. I tend to eat really stupid things when I'm tired. Hence why I gained so much weight while I was breastfeeding both sets of my twins!
