brd88: You're welcome, and thank you!

Ronja: Thank you! And, I still commend you for it all, even if it is only supplemental feedings at that age. (And, just in general breastfeeding two sets of twins before this...wow! You are Supermom, haha.) With a newborn, I really couldn't imagine being able to fast at all, lol...I remember being absolutely ravenous when I was still able to breastfeed my son!

nicoley73: That's what I do! I wait to weigh-in until right before my first meal of the day so that my food has had the same amount of time to process from each previous day.

________________________________

Weigh-in was 232.8 today, so up just a smidge. However, that is still a good thing, because I weighed in a full 2 hours earlier than I did yesterday, so there's probably not an actual gain today. I am adjusting my weigh-in/eating times, so there was obviously going to be a fluctuation on the official record on the day I transitioned. So, I'm not disappointed with this one at all.

ophelia - my only issue is that I like to weigh myself without any clothes and I don't want to get undressed at noon! Plus I try to drink a lot of water in the morning and I'm not sure how that will affect my weight.

ronja I am glad that your daughter has recovered from her surgery, that would be very stressful! Also, you are amazing for nursing twins and doing such a great job with your plan while you are still nursing your little one and raising 4 others!! I am going to try a liquid fast tomorrow for the first time. I am hoping that it goes ok and that I make it!! I will drink plain water, carbonated water and green tea.

Hey britt!! Thank you so much for your words of encouragement, they mean a lot! That is awesome that you are firmly in the 150's, you are doing amazing!!

Congrats on making your goal, and way ahead of time to boot, ophelia You are such an inspiration!!

Good job throwing away your Easter candy, nicoley!! You are doing a great job! How do you like IF?

I am going to weigh in on Saturday and after that I will probably weigh a couple times per week. I am anxious about what the scale will say on Saturday, I really did poorly on Easter! I hope that everyone is doing well! I cant believe the month is almost over. I don't think that I will end up making my goal this month, but I would be happy to prove myself wrong

Hi yall. TOM really put me all over the place. But I was able to get groceries and now I'm ready to go again! I'm really just happy to put up a loss.

Thanks for the encouragement ophelia. I'm going to try to get some exercise in today. I spend the majority of my day on my butt for work.

Hey, kfunk! I am also trying to get back to weekly weighing like I said I would do! I am starting to get addicted to the scale now that I have been watching it so much since hitting the 150s! Maybe I will allow myself to weigh twice. Once on Sunday and then a midweek check-in on Wednesday. I'm sure your Easter weight will be gone soon if you even gained any. You're doing well!

Darius, I really like how you calculate the percentage of your goal! That's really cool. I may try that in my next challenge

I'm enjoying the IF. There is always a point in the morning when I am starving, but I can push through and them I'm never hungry for the rest of the day. I'm eating less and staying full longer. My progress would be better if I was making better food choices, so I'm working on that!

nicoley73: I weigh-in while undressed as well, so I can attest that doing so in the middle of the day can be annoying...lol. I don't really drink much water before my weigh-in, but I know it's good for you to start your day that way...so, maybe try a couple days of weighing first thing in the morning and then do your weigh-in again in the afternoon before eating, and compare the two weights to see if it's big enough of a difference to even bother with it? If nothing else, you can gauge what the water does for you, and then you can decide from there.

kfunk6113: Thank you, and I hope that your weigh-in tomorrow goes well!

debest: Any loss during a full TOM week is a victory in and of itself sometimes, so congrats! I've gotten lucky with my last two TOMs because they were short and fairly light...that isn't always the case, lol. Now that you're all set and ready to go TOM-free for next week, I bet you will bounce right back into your pace!

darius: It's still a downward trend, but I know that slower weeks can be frustrating...hoping next week is even better for you! How have you been feeling lately with your medical treatments?

Weigh-in was 232.8 again today, so I'm thinking that the little handful of fries that I stole from my husband's dinner probably kept me stalled up a little during my time transitions. That's fine though, because that's still 2.2 lbs down for the week and I should finally be able to get in my walk again tonight, so I plan on working that out!

End of Week Two: 235.0
Total Loss for Week Three: 2.2 lbs.

Ladies, I have been doing horribly this month. I just realized that i haven't logged in to this challenge the entire month! I had two very rough weekends as far as not exercising and eating way over my calorie goals. I had a few wedding related activities where I ate out and did not choose wisely, plus a wedding I went to, and Easter. This month has definitely not been as productive towards my goal as I had hoped. I really do not think I will be making my 15 pound goal with only a little over a week left!

It seems that everyone else has been doing really well! You guys are all so inspirational to me! Thank you!

Farn0057: I know you have lost less than you were expecting to have lost by this time of the month, but 8 lbs in three weeks is still pretty awesome! Especially with having had some off days due to holidays and celebrations.

Weigh-in was 232.8 again today, so that is now three days in a row. So, I'm thinking that maybe my body isn't loving my new IF window?? It's the only thing that has changed and it's pretty much been ever since. Weird. Going to move it back to 3pm for a couple days and see if that was the issue. On a better note, I was finally able to do my 5+ mile evening walk last night again, and it felt great! I was so happy to have a break from everything else I need to do to just take that time to myself. Hoping to make the most of it this weekend and make sure I do it each night while I still can, lol. Maybe that will help budge things back along, as well!

This is my 3rd attempt, so hopefully it posts!

debest Awesome job on losing while on your TOM!!

Darius Nice job getting a loss this week, hopefully next week you will get your whoosh!

Britt Thank you, I think you are doing well too!! I know what you mean about the scale getting addicting! I like your plan of weighing 2 times per week, I think that is what I will probably end up doing as well!

Ophelia I am impressed that you were able to stop after a small handful of fries, they are my weakness! Just last night we had Famous Dave's. I ate too much, and the reason was because I couldn't stop eating their famous fries. I hope that changing your window back helps! Good job getting back to your walk!!

Farn I live in MN too!! I think that -7.8 lbs. is amazing, especially since you have had a lot of wedding events and a holiday thrown in there!

Nancy and Nichols

Nicoley you are doing really well this month so far!! I am glad that you like IF, I definitely think it is something I will incorporate, I am just not sure when. I get home from work at 7pm and I hate eating dinner that late!
