nancymlrn: I'm sorry...I wish I knew what to tell you! Are you having any NSVs like looser clothes or seeing changes in your body composition? It's possible that the exercises you are doing are helping you in other ways right now?
kfunk6113: They are a weakness of mine too, so it was hard! I think it helped that they weren't the best batch of fries I have ever encountered. I think I would have had a harder time if I was snacking on some of my favorites, lol. Also, great loss for the week!

Okay, I gave my new IF window one more chance and the scale finally moved down a bit to 232.0, so I will wait to transition back unless it stalls out again...lol. It came down just enough to get my next dragonfly to the ounce, haha. I got in 5.75 miles last night in my evening walk, so maybe that helped! I should have just walked a little longer to round it out to 6 miles, but it was already getting late so I had to head in. (It made for a little over 8 miles total for the day with my full step count, so I'm still happy with that!) We'll see what happens tonight.

---------------------------- End of Week Three: 232.8 Total Loss for Week Four:
Hi. Quick post. Got down to 221.6 yesterday. Headache, diarrhea and nausea this evening. Really feeling awful. I hope it passes quickly. too much work to do.
Nicoley Happy Birthday! And congrats on such nice numbers!!!
I'm back, been pretty overly busy since getting home. I knew things would need caught up but this seems crazy!
I wasn't the 40 down I wanted to be for my vacation but I have to say, I'm thrilled at how I did, that fitness boost made a huge difference that I really noticed for walking around and trooping through deep sand, stuff like that was enjoyable instead of exhausting for once. Felt good to enjoy without dreading long walks and seeing the sights on foot. Every pound really does count!
Walked miles on beaches, went on a boat tour, walked up to alligators to take pictures, generally did silly things and ate fried foods. Leading to a minor gain combined with being totally off my good water habits that seem to make ALL the difference in the world to successful dieting.
So I'll be buckling down this week, shoulder still super sore but I'm going to try to get back to working out carefully.
Got down to 261.1 this month and have a feeling that is as low as I will go. Too many things crept up this month that broke my concentration and made it hard to consistently lose. I'm taking til the end of the month to get back on track, and hit May with a vengeance.
Bumped up a bit to 157.8 on Sunday, but then I binged
I hope my midweek check-in on Wednesday won't be a complete disaster. I don't think I will even be reaching 154 this month.
NightSnacker: You did a fantastic job staying active while away and mitigating the damage of vacation eating...awesome work!!
Nicholsfamily1987: It's coming back down nicely though, so just keep doing what you're doing now and just make a commitment to stay mindful come next weekend...you're doing a good job.
jrkessle: Sounds like you have a plan! May won't know what hit it when you get there.
brd88: Hoping that you'll be able to do some damage control over the next couple days and that your Wednesday weigh-in will go well for you!

Weigh-in was 231.0 today, so maybe my body has fully adjusted to the new time. Hopefully, anyway! It also could be that I ended up taking a much longer walk than usual last night...I ended up coming home right at the 8 mile mark! I was talking on the phone with my mom and decided - instead of coming back at 5.75 miles and then just sitting there on the couch talking to her - I would just keep walking while we talked...and, that resulted in an extra 2.25 miles! When I got back into the house, my poor phone was on 2% battery life. It helped bring my total up to almost 22k steps and a little over 9.5 miles for the day as a whole.

Thanks, Ophelia! Great job on your 8-mile walk! That's awesome!
Thank you! I was a little sore from it, but I am happy that I was able to walk that far without feeling like my hips, knees, or feet were going to up and die on me...I've come a long way since the first of the year already, lol.

Good morning all. Feeling much better today. Yesterday was just dreadful though. I thought I'd have to go to the hospital. But by the grace of God today (other than feeling a bit weak) I'm right as rain.
I expect the scale to go up tomorrow since I'm eating and drinking again but hopefully I'll still make a loss this week.
I see you ophelia. Walking that weight off. you go girl!
