ROSINANTE:
Congrats on making Goal! 14.5 pounds is fantastic.
I'm betting if you get back with belly dancing, you will have some fun with it and get a core workout and some cardio all at the same time. Don't pay any attention to how good you are, just think of it as an exercise session.
Munchey
Thanks, Munchey! Yes, I definitely will try again. After the first session, my core definitely ached, I know it'll do me good!
Koshi, I would love to see your cheat sheet for Bourbon Chicken and also the Crispy Chili Chicken. Also, you might one to post your cheat sheet recipes here http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/recipes-218/ as others might be interested, too. We always love to get new recipes.
I will do, I have a young baby so my time at the pc is few and far between atm, I will this week write them up and post on here
I made it to 199 this week, but I doubt I will still be on Monday I made cookies but I did give half away today!
Congrats to all the folks making their goals for this challenge!
I had set a rather ambitious goal for this one, and I passed the finish line yesterday! This thread helped me keep up my motivation when it was flagging, I'm so glad all of you were here!
RIE:
Sorry if the dancer may have offended you. Rosinante has a wonderful sense of humor (or I wouldn't have used that particular graphic). Humor helps some of us "more vintage ladies" deal with aging, lol. I've collected graphics for several years in a Photobucket account. Eveything some from online public sources.
ROSINANTE:
I think we have a similar sense of humor. Hope the dancer didn't offend you.
muchey - I think you misread my tone! Haha, I wasn't offended at all - I just find it to be terrifying in its awkwardness. Like Rosi said, looks like a dancing spider.
Please ~ send me positive thoughts or prayers, according to conscience, or a ruddy great pitchfork - I've done nothing but scarf carbs this week, don't know what's wrong with me, I'm certainly way beyond monthly cravings. Sigh. I keep seeing in one of my facebook groups "Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels" but frankly this week, cakes and chocolate and chips (fries) really have!
Right. Tomorrow I'm away for the week in London with Alana - I'll tell you about him some other time, he's my "It's-Complicated". He eats like a horse and is as thin as a rake. He's tried very hard to support me in dieting out of diabetes blood sugar levels, and can't quite get his head round the fact that I can have a treat occasionally. So I'm hoping that I'll behave as though I still have to be very, Very careful, and lose the half pound or so I've regained. I Will Try.
Charts are top 15 biggest losers! Sign ups are now closed! If you were already in the challenge and your information is gone from the spreadsheet, it's because you haven't weighed in for more than 2 weeks so you've been moved to Standby. Simply tell me you want back in and I'll move you back into the spreadsheet.
This is the last week of the challenge, anyone who is participating in the measurements challenge please let me know what your final measurements are! Remember you can still view the spreadsheet using the link provided in the first post to remind yourself of what to measure.
Well, I'm down another pound today. But I'm going to wait a few days before I post my weight. I am not at goal and hope to get a little closer before the week is out.
It's been tough battling the urge to snack after dinner. I am trying to embrace the suffering feeling.
