South Beach Diet
:DI started the SBD and so far in Phase 1 (2 weeks) i lost 15 lbs! whoohooo continuing for 1 more week then... phase 2 here i come! I`m loving this DIET!!

LOL you guys! That would have been funny! The appt went well, she was super nice. We talked a little bit about keto diets and she was initially pretty anti because people she has talked to have done it HORRIBLY (like living off of cheap hot dogs only), but when explained that the percentages are AFTER fiber is subtracted from carb total and I laid out what my normal day of eating looked like she was a little better with the idea. She also had no problems with nutrisystem, the only thing she wanted was to have me on a higher calorie range than they have me on based on my weekly exercise. I said I was comfortable where I am at but I also eat more if I am particularly hungry one day and she was fine with that. I was thinking about this last night though, I think the fact I stay lower on the day to day balances out the nights we decide to order pizza or eat out. Even though those nights I make better choices, it still usually goes a bit over my normal daily range.

Up at the crack of dawn... I slept like 4 hours and I am wide awake and making tea.
Even at this early hour, my scale was being kind to me; I have been whoosing for a few days. Cw: 227.2 Ok, didn't weigh in for a few days and meant to keep up with everything here, in that time. First my computer got a virus that they thought they had taken care of but as soon as I got on here it shut me down again. So, that took about 3 days out of my check-in time. That coupled with the fact that I haven't had time to breath since.....oh, about last Monday..... kept me from checking in! As far as the WW Points. I wasn't aware that you were supposed to eat those as the told my sister they were OPTIONAL. I don't go to the meeting or anything as they would NOT be beneficial too me. That's just not how I am made. I am far more comfortable getting encouragement here! I have started using a few more points and have paid a bit more attention to my protein. I do better when my protein is a bit higher. I have moved some so feeling a bit better about it but bummed that I won't make this months goal......again. The monthly demon hasn't shown up. So......just waiting for his horrid arrival! We'll see how much havoc he causes!! |
141.0 this morning at my monthly weigh in, so I think I'll meet January's goal unless some tragic peanut butter accident occurs over the next couple of days.
Jb1975 -- you lost over 8 pounds already this month, that's awesome! Such a great job, really, it would be a shame not to acknowledge that just because you set a slightly higher goal! |
