Well, I knew I was retaining water yesterday. I kept drinking and drinking and it was staying put. I kept hoping it would start flushing off! Got up this morning to discover that my monthly demon had arrived to wreak havoc on my girly bits. That plus all that water yesterday equals a 3.4 lb gain and pure misery!

Mossy - You are too funny! Facial tx is just a light peel my dermatologist said she could do to help lighten my freckles (nothing major). Eye tx is wishful thinking I have dark circles from lack of sleep and early signs of aging. I don't think there is anything that would really help, except more sleep and personal acceptance

Howdy All.

Welp. The polar vortex showed his face today and I want to smack him back where he came from. Ohhhh, the roads are a solid sheet of ice. Tomorrow, 8 more inches of snow. I'm going to stay put, if the wind picks up you can't see the road. I'm glad I went to the store today. The high temp tomorrow is going to be 9 below zero.

I'll be glad when I can post some sparkly things and twinkly lights...especially for the holidays. I love all of the little smilies, lights.
We have to keep each other cheered up.

Kifli, may you get the eye/facial tx for Christmas....if that's your heart's desire.

Sum, you have most definitely made progress.

Many years ago, if any of you remember the Diet Center...the sweet lady in charge told me this, "The inches always have to catch up with pounds".

Do not be impatient. If the inches didn't catch up with the pounds, all of our skin would be hanging loose. It's a good process, may not be as fast as you like but to go faster has its price, too. The inches have to catch up with the pounds. That's how it works. When your skin becomes shrink-wrapped, then the pounds will proceed.
