I'm totally hopping in on this right now since it's only 7 days in. I'm trying to lose 10 bu the end of the month. I will settle for 5 though. I'm beginning at 170. And I actually haven't moved the scale since the first so this shouldn't be too bad.

Joy let's us weigh in and post as we wish. I just started posting daily weights and calories myself because it seems to help keep me more plus it lets people new to weight loss see weight loss is not a straight line high to low thing nor do the scales instantly reflect the results of our calorie intake. There is a huge lag for most of us and it goes up and down independent of our eating. But the overall trend is downward for all that take in less calories than they need to maintain weight.

I've been hovering around 197 for around three weeks so I guess I was due for a whoosh. I've been pretty balanced the last two weeks, in particular, after indulging a lot while travelling. It's paid off. Working to maintain that equilibrium. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I'm glad to find this group. I'm dancing in the dark for the most part. I'm overwhelmed with how the site works. Most of you are up and running on all cylinders, true pros at this. I'm loving the motivation and dedication that you have. I need a Marine Drill Sergeant and I like someone who "kicks you know whats and takes names". I realize that needs to be me, kicking my own rearend in gear. This is a great group, GardenerJoy.
