Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a good day. I did an exercise video and did my regular walk around the development. My legs are a bit sore from the run yesterday. I'm gonna rub some bengay on tonight and hope it feels better tomorrow. I an going to do day number 2 of C25K tomorrow. My day is almost over and I haven't even ate all my calories today, so it has been a really good day for me. I wish every day could be like this.

Just a flyby.
Day 52, right? Exercise: 40 minute walk IF: Started eating 1 PM Food: 350 g cabbage sauteed in spices + 1 tsp olive oil 150 g pureed cauliflower with 1/2 c 2% milk 5 figs 1 67-cal piece dark chocolate then.... the tragedy!!! Made some peanut butter granola and ate a LOT of it... then our neighbor brought over foccaccia and I ate a lot of it. So I stopped eating for the day (probably about on calories) and made a commitment to my fiance to stay ON PLAN for 7 days. (He doesn't care if I lose weight or not, but I care about losing 3-5 more lbs and more importantly eating right). Starting today!! |
Day 54 :)
Miatutu, thank you for the information. I'll give it a try today. Congrats on both your walk and doing the 5K. Sorry your legs ae sore though. Keep up the great work! Indi, I like your new plan. As long as we keep coming here, we shall get those last few pounds off. |
Morning Ladies!
Glad you had a good day Miatu! Indi, quit making us go backwards :) Good luck on your 7 day goal. Hi Tyla!! I was down .2 lbs from last thursday, still at my ticker weight again this week. I'm not happy with it but with all the eating I did this weekend at least it wasn't a gain. |
NoMore, congrats! Any weight loss is a GREAT weight loss! :congrat:
|
AHH SORRY hehe. Day 54!! I think I skipped a day in there? Anyway, my apologies. Day 54!
Exercise: 40 minute walk IF: Started eating at 1 PM Food: 120 g pureed cauliflower + some 2% milk 180 g roasted beets 1 serving roasted red pepper soup (homemade) 10 almonds 40 g dried figs 1 apple 1 67-cal square dark chocolate huge stir fry for dinner: 250 g broccoli + 200 g tofu with 1 tbs sesame oil + soy sauce a few dates for dessert Perfectly on plan! Finally. Aiming for Day 2 of 7 for being POP. tyla Yeah! I'm determined to stick with it. I think focusing on behavior/being on plan is better than focusing on the scale for me NoMore You are headed in the RIGHT direction, that's the most important thing! |
Checking in! I'm down another pound, so I've lost 7 total since the challenge started! YEY!
I think the DVD-a-Day thing is really helping me, and the "you have to get up and move around at work" thing I've been trying to do is too! I will NOT let this desk job hold me back from my GOAL!!! :D Keep up the good work everyone and STAY ON PLAN FOR THE WEEKEND!!!! :) |
Way to go for being POP Indi!
Thanks Tyla, i'm even more excited this morning, scale was at 186.4, Yay! So 1.2 lb loss since Monday. I am determined to keep at it! Slowly but surely. Happy Veterans Day everyone! We posted at the same time but WTG Kate!! And yes, I have GOT TO STAY ON PLAN THIS LONG WEEKEND!! |
Day 56! :) Can you believe it! We're really zipping along.
Miatutu, I started the C25K the day before yesterday. And my poor knees! I haven't jogged in a while, and they let me know it about 10 minutes into it. But at least I did it! I guess that means this is Day 2, the day I go at it again. I'm going to give it my best shot. Indi, I agree with you. At this point it's better for us to focus on our behaviors and eating patterns than to get on the scale. The scale can be very discouraging. I'm also trying to vary my exercise. Kate, I'm very impressed with 7 lbs. down. Super congrats to you! You are right, the DVD's and the constant movement is the key. Very inspiring! :congrat: NoMore, wow, down 1.2 since Monday! Excellent! Love your determination! :bravo: |
Morning Ladies!
Day 57! Day one of long weekend OP down, 3 more to go. Been under my calories for the past three days and I hit 185.4 this morning :) |
Good evening everyone. I didn't exercise yesterday, and had a few drinks last night. Woke up feeling like **** this morning. My eating has not been great today either. I did manage to force myself to go on a mile and a half walk though. Will be back to normal routine tommorrow. Everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend.
|
Tyla, I am so happy you started the C25K program. The first day is the hardest. I will be doing W1D3 tomorrow. My knee has been killing me too. I am going to see if I can get a good support for it. I need new running shoes too. I keep telling myself, that the more weight I lose, the less my knee will hurt. Hopefully that is true.
|
Another fly-by check in. I'm still OP. Ran 6 miles yesterday, did a short run today and a little bit of lifting. Eating is on plan- not perfect, but very good.
Keep it up, chicks!! |
Good Morning Ladies! Yesterday was a pretty good day, not perfect but right at calorie goal. I helped serve at a Golden Years Celebration dinner for the church elders last night which had me walking back and forth for 2 hours so that counts as some exercise. Downfall was a square of key lime "pie", but it was all I had for dinner (330 calories!).
Wow Indi, I can't imagine running 6 miles! One day, maybe one day. |
Miatutu, glad to hear you are running. I can't run yet until my knee heals more. So I walk on a treadmill.
:woops: I was sick all last week, but still managed to lose 1/2 pound. Best wishes to all on your weight loss journeys this coming week. :dust: It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop.” ~ Confucius ~ |
