Huzzah!
Thanks for the welcomes, Challengers! :mrsclaus: Finding this thread was a gift! :gift2: This is my Day 125 (counting backwards from March 25, 2012, which is a significant goal day for moi and sorry if that is confusing, I'm just counting down the days)!
NoMoreKnit, hmmm, I had a three day food for all, too. Maybe t'is the season! I have a strong feeling that it will not be the greatest weigh-in in my history on Wednesday but will reverse it if up, if maintenance, that's okay dokey. Sixty-Six Days to Christmas! Yay! :wreathe: Happy 'bout that, certainly going to have a lower weight despite the food-for-all! Jolina, congratulations on your weight loss, yea, on the stayin' strong! Miatutu, congratulations on your anniversary and considering also the C25K. I am trying to add some running back in my workouts. It is slow going but I soldier on. Huzzah to Kate, Indi, Tyler and WendeeLou and anyone I missed (with apologies for missing them and will do better next time). Merry Season! :ginger: |
This is day 67 or in range eating and exercising. :)
Only 2 more days until Thanksgiving! |
Hey Chicks, Back OP for day 67, hooray!!
|
Did pretty well today. Camein on target with calories. It has been raining all day so I didn't get to do my C25K running today. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow. So instead I exercised in the house again. I miss walking outside and it is supposed to rain for the next 2 days. Yucko!!!!

Huzzah, Challengers! My eating was quite a bit better today and also worked on getting rid of everything in the house with too much sodium as that is killin' moi! Exercise made me think o' this thread as I am playing around with doin' my habitual weights using the "hundreds" training system. It just means you work towards doing 100 reps of each exercise using somewhat lighter weights. Going to do this for awhile as it seems to be a modern trend and have a lot of benefits. I only did 50 reps for seven exercises today and then took a walk. Weights were lightish.
This is may Day 124 counting backwards to my goal of March 25, 2011! Woot! Marchin' on to merry December. I have no more work contracts until December 1 so shall just have spa days galore and focus on weight management! |
Morning all!! Still on plan. I have 30 days left as of today!! I've lost 10lbs since I started, too.
Keep going everyone!! |
Congratulations on that 10 pounds, kateleestar! That's great!! :)
I gained a pound this week, making a grand total of 1 pound lost since I started this sort of still-in-maintenance but tryin' to lose some regainish kind o' initiative. I have a goal of March 25, 2012 to get 22 pounds down from the start of that initiative. I have 29 to December 22 to lose my goal of four pounds (plus a pound lol). That is my Winter Solstice Wednesday Weigh-In and I will take that weight for my Christmas goal. I did lose a total of one inch and GAINED .5 on biceps, which is a good thing. Am not unhappy. I am doing well but just ate too much this week! Will get 'em next week! |
Day 68 of mindful eating and exercising. :)
Congrats, Kate, on the 10 lb. loss! |
Hey Ladies, checking in for Day 68! The 5lb!! gain I had from this weekends foodfest has disappeared as of this morning, Hooray! Going out to Olive Garden for supper tonight so lunch was a turkey garden salad.
WTG Kate, you are doing good! Amarantha, losing inches is great, I wish I would have taken measurements when I started!! |
:happ3::happ3::happ3::happ3:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! This is day 69 for me of eating in range and exercising. Can you believe it's only about a month until Christmas?! Look at us, ladies, we're doing it! :dancer: Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Tyla :grouphug: |
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope everyone takes time to reflect and be thankful for all of the wonderful things we have in our lives. Have a wonderful day.
And everyone please remember, whatever happens today, whatever you eat, it is just one day. If you over induldge, please don't beat yourself up over it, because tomorrow is another day. I am thankful for my family who has their health, a wonderful home that gives me so much joy, and friends who make everyday a bit better. Happy Thankdsgiving. |
Well, I hope everybody made it through the holiday well. Today is a new day. I did pretty well myself though. I had breakfast, a bowl of special k cereal, then I picked just a bit while cooking, had a modest meal, but didn't leave feeling empty or to full. Also had a small peice of pie too. The only thing that did get me, was snacking on a roll and a half last night before bed. They were the best homemade oatmeal rolls. They were pretty small, though. About the size of a golf ball, so it could be worse. I think the real challenge will be getting through the fridge full of leftovers.
I just finished exercising. I am gonna go shower, and then go shopping. Won't be back until last afternoon. Then we have family coming over for dinner and to play some board games. should be a nice evening. just gonna have to stay away from the wine or hard cider. that will be the hard part. Everyone have a great friday. Enjoy your weekend too. |
Hoo Ray! I made it through a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. My hubby and I went out to eat on Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. I only ate half of my dinner, brought home the leftovers and got on the treadmill when I got home. So I can honestly say that this is day 72 of eating within my range and exercising. And I'm so happy to say that we're almost 3/4 of the way there. :yay:
|
I sailed through Thanksgiving week without gaining any weight!
But I didn't lose any either. But that's OK. Here's hoping we can all lose a little during this Holiday Season! :hat: |
Morning Chicks, Day 74 here.
Was not OP like, all week. I had a nice 6 day's off work and didn't eat too healthy while I was gone (understatement of the year), but that's okay! Still fighting this battle. Weight hasn't changed for the past 3 weeks, bouncing between 185-189 every weekend! Still hoping to hit 180 by Christmas! |
