Lost, Amandie and GettinFit- great job on your losses this week! Sounds like everyone is rocking right along!
I hopped on the scale first thing this morning and it said 216... went to the bathroom and nursed the baby and jumped on again this time without woozy, sleepy eyes, and it said 217.5. Uh...okay? Ha ha, I'm going with 217 this week, so that's only down 1, but I'll take it.
Hi All,
Checking in a bit early this week because I'm going to be away until late Sunday night. Still plugging along on the diet and keeping up my exercise. Hopefully all these combined challenges will keep everything in check
Have a great weekend and I'll get caught up on Sunday.
melinda: I think you need 25 posts before you can get a sig or a ticker. Just keep posting here and you'll get there in no time! Great job on your loss! 4 pounds is awesome!
I'm starting to get worried about my salt intake. Maybe I should drink more water. In fact, I'll go do that right now.
Is it to late to join in? As we get closer & closer to Memorial Day and I realize that I have not met my goal (again!), I am feeling like I need to get into the habit of posting everyday and staying to a challenge so I hope to be Luscious by Labor Day!!! (Really going to be tough because I traditionally slack off on my exercise in the summer so you guys may have to get tough!
hope its not too late to join in. I slacked a bit from 3fc but i'm back! Trying to stay on track. I added my stats from this month.
Good job everyone!! Keep it up!!
Oh no - my scale died this morning! I think it's just a dead battery, so not a big deal. I was so disappointed though. I thought about going down to the basement; my daughter has one packed away with all of the stuff she just brought home from school. But, I was too afraid it would show that I weighed more than my regular scale!
It's TOM though, so I probably would have shown a gain anyway. Maybe the death of my scale was Mother Nature or Fate protecting me from disappointment.
gotta use my friday weight this week, since i'll be busy getting married and leaving for my honeymoon over the weekend
today's weigh in: 267.9
change from yesterday: -0.8
loss for the week: 3.9 pounds! (whoa!)*
total loss for may thusfar: 7.7 pounds
total loss since start (march 15): 32.1 pounds
*weekly loss is based on friday - friday weight, i think i used saturday's post-whoosh weight on the chart.

Wow, congrats Mandy . . . on both the whoosh and your marriage. Best wishes for a long and happy life together!
Well, I replaced the battery in my scale and it's still not working. I can't describe how sad I am . . . I just know I'm not going to weigh the same on a different scale. I don't even care if it's more or less. I just want an accurate measure of my progress! Oh well, not much I can do about it. I'll weigh myself on the new one tomorrow and hope for the best.
Mandy, congrats on your wedding and honeymoon, enjoy every moment of it!
RMC, sorry to hear about the death of your scale, that'd drive me a little nute for sure.
Anyway, I'm here for a EARLY (yawn) Sunday weigh-in before I head down to NYC for a 5K this morning...weighed in at 228 this morning, down 4 from last week, woo-hoo! Hope everyone else had a great week, and has a great day!
Congrats everyone - sounds like we're all doing pretty well. It's so hard to maintain momentum sometimes. But, good weeks, bad weeks, we just have to keep at it!
The saga of my poor little scale continues . . . DH has mysteriously been able to get the old scale to work. But, since it's only working intermittently, I know it's on its last leg and so I bought a new one. I had DH weigh himself on the old and immediately on the new one so I could calibrate my numbers. We found that the old was coming in at .3lbs more, which isn't so bad. And now I'm at peace with the death of the scale. :
Happy to report that I'm down 3.4lbs this week. It was a very easy week to stay OP - no birthdays or other special occassions. The family was getting into their summer routines and hardly around, so I really only had to cook for myself. I went to the gym every single day and really pushed myself while I was there. This was the first week that I really felt a difference while working out - not so winded, able to workout longer, and didn't feel like an old feeble woman when I attempted to get out bed the following mornings.
