Pretzel - I'm sure you'll have a loss at your next W/I.
Missita - Congrats on your loss
I hope everyone else is having a great OP day! So far so good for me. I'm so excited to be in my second week of being back OP. It really feels good to be in control.
I went this morning for blood work at the doctors office. I have an appt later but the nurse went ahead and took my weight. She kept asking me what Im doing to lose so much weight. That's a first for me! LOL Hope my doctor is just as pleasantly suprised
Don't worry Mandy that happens to me all the time. Even when I'm being super good with nutrition and water intake. I'll go 4 days with no change and then it'll drop suddenly.. then stay the same again.
I got some good advise on here. Stop obsessing about the scale. Just take an official weight once a week and don't worry about it the rest of the time.
Hope that helps
Pretzel, no problem, jogging is awesome, I used to run at 5 am (only time I have time to do it) but I wasnt getting enough sleep when I did that, I also got sick 2 weeks back and am still recovering, my breathing isnt the greatest in the am so I havnt been doing that. I do love it though!
mary - that sounds like an awesome goal!
train!!! I was in the uk visiting about 2 years ago I absolutely LOVE IT there...don't like the long plane rides though LOL
myhal- that is AWESOME!!! im sure the dr. is just as pleased!!!
K0nfy - I think my scale is bipolar, I stepped on it 6 times for curiosity sake and it read anything between 280 and 284 each time go figure....
amandie - thats awesome! wtg!!!
just checkin in on my way to do homework. Lets keep pluggin along all! we can do this!!!!
My doctor said Im well on my way to being off my diabetes meds! She was soooo happy with all my lab results and weight loss. she said she was amazed at how well I was doing.
Mind another late comer? I've been involved in some short term challenges, but I think having a long term goal as well is a great idea.
Like many of you, I've been down this road before. I always start off great, then lose interest. I hope this time will be different and am taking some steps to ensure that, like joining a local gym. Being accountable to you guys and getting support during the rough spots should also help a lot.
Have a great day!
ETA: Would be nice if I included my goal, lol! I'd like to lose 30 lbs. by Labor Day.
