6/1 - Mostly a day off from excercise, as I was feeling a twinge of back pain and reinjury is not in my plans. I did take a leisurely walk with my kids to the grocery store and bakery rather than driving, so I'm counting that!
6/2 - 30 minutes of yard work - really worked up a sweat! 30 minutes on Wii EA Active.
6/3 - 26 minutes EA Active, 45 minutes WATP
6/4- rest day
6/5 - 30 minutes EA Active, 45 min WATP
6/6 - 46 minutes EA Active
6/7- rest day
6/8 - sick day
6/9 - sick day #2
6/10 - sick day #3
6/11 - 3 hours walking at Sea World
6/12 - 45 minutes WATP, 40 minutes Wii Active


Holy moly. I took a few days off excercise because I got a bad cold and just didn't feel up to it. I walked around Sea World for a few hours with my kids last night, and today I got back in my regular work out groove. I have to say, taking that many days off in a row sucks! It's amazing how quickly your body says, "Yeah, that? I don't do that anymore!" :lol: I'm exhausted - hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.

eclipse: I hear you on that one. I am always amazed at how quickly my body can adapt (and thrive) on no exercise, and how long it takes to get back into it. Major bummer. Good for you for hopping back in--soon enough your body will stop complaining!

6.1: 60 min. JW Workout CT DVD
6.2: 50 min. aerobic/cardio
6.3: 50 min. aerobic/cardio
6.4: 45 min. aerobic/cardio
6.5: 45 min. frisbee (at least)
6.6: canoeing (I let DH do most of the work, but still...); 1 hour frisbee
6.7: rest

6.8: 50 min. aerobics
6.9: 40 min. Jackie Warner Power Circuit Training DVD
6.10: 60 min. aerobics, 20 min. hacky sack
6.11: 3 hours weight lifting: 4 oz. curls at a beer festival;) (okay, it was a rest day)
6.12: 60 min. aerobics morning, 30 min. aerobics evening (to make up for last night)

Joining in very late but I need to get movin' :carrot:

June Weekly Goals:

30 minutes cardio X 5 days
60 minutes cardio X 2 days
10-20 minutes weight training X 2 days
5-10 minutes ab isolation X 5 days
Generally more active i.e. take the stairs, walk, dance, laugh

Since I haven't worked out in two years, this will be difficult but I'm up for the challenge! Are you? Let's go!

June Exercise Challenge

Hopeful8 - 1. 60 minutes of cardio 6x per week 2. Complete at least 1800 minutes of exercise 3. Strength training at least 3x per week.
eryn s - By the end of the month be able to jog the whole 2 mile track without having to stop, go to the gym at least 5 times a week, doing strength training on 3 of those days and Lots of walking!
Ms Perception - 1. Follow my marathon training 2. Swim on cross-training days
jakenamirgirl - 1. Continue doing P90X 2. I am doing a walk/run program, so I would like to be able to run for 5 continuous minutes.3. I would like exercise in the morning for at least 20 days out of the month.
eclipse - finish the Wii Active 30 day challenge on schedule
gardenerjoy - My goal for June is 1600 minutes.
Mellabella01 - My goal for June is to work out 5 days a week.
Matilda08 - get cardio on four times per week for an hour each. Also strength training and Id like to at least take one cycling class at my gym.
bama girl - complete at least 1000 minutes of exercise this month
MosesMom1 - continue going to Lean & Mean class at my gym 3 times a week; Pilates once a week (Saturday); and get 45 minutes of cardio in 5 times a week.
MeowMix - workout 4 days a week, elliptical and yoga all 4 and the 30 day shred on 2 of those days. Minute goal of 1300.
highflyer - get back to exercising three times a week.
KimL1214 - 1000 minutes
hope4me - 45 minute workouts at least 5x/week
LouisaH - no more than one day off per week.
Lewisempire - 720 minutes of intentional exercise.
MumofMany - exercise every day except Sunday on my cross trainer doing at least 1.5 miles, two times a day

eclipse - I know what you mean! Every time I've taken time off from being sick I had a harder time but before I know it I'm right back on track! You might still be recovering a little also, I found I do better if I take things slow getting back into exercise rather than just jumping back in full force after being sick. Glad to hear you're doing better though!
