Oh MsP - I missed ya, but I must concur, there's some days that the only thing between me and the cookie jar is you fine ladies. Cheers to that!

Hey Ladies!

I know I haven't been on in the last few months as often as I was in the summer, but now that I'm on break and I'm taking next quarter off (to find a job) I'm going to try to visit more often.

I'm back down to 206.8 as of this morning. I think it's because I was having a little bit of soda the last two weeks or so, or at least I think it was two weeks. It wasn't very long, but needless to say I've detoxed my body.

Today I wasn't perfect, but I was very close to perfect.

Tomorrow I plan to make a few different cakes from Cook Yourself Thin, they have healthy cakes that taste even better than the normal ones! I'm going to cut them up and freeze them for a healthier dessert. To stop those chocolate runs here and there, you know?

Any who, aside from all that, I am very excited to say I have a date this Saturday. It'll surprise you how much being in a good mood will perk up your energy levels. And because I'm so excited, I just had to tell you ladies. I haven't had a date in...a couple of years. :/ But I'm ecstatic. I've been talking to this guy for almost a month now and he is really really cute-and in shape! I am just so excited! He seems to really like me and I really like him.

All righty ladies, tomorrow I'm going to plan on reading over the boards since I'm so behind!

<3 We Can Do It Ladies.

Tummy-Let me tell ya, my kids (well, my DS in particular) ask me some dandy questions sometimes and I don't always know how to respond. I have to think for a minute to give them an age-appropriate response they'll understand. I'm a firm believer in being honest with kids, so they know they can trust me to always tell them the truth and not some sugar-coated version, but still be sensitive about it. Good luck!

Miss Mallee-Yay on the date! How do you know the guy? I hope all goes well. What area of work are you pursuing? It's a busy time in your life. Make sure to make time to take good care of yourself!!

I'm hanging out near the 132 mark today. I'd like to be lower, but tell that to the cup of chex mix I had last night! Heehee Don't ya love salt! Anyway, another busy day, just wanted to come on and try to keep up. In a way, it's good the thread is slower right now otherwise I'd never be able to! I REALLY miss all our ladies here, but I bet we'll see everyone more next month, or maybe even next week as things settle down. I'm going to re-post the "list". I know some people made goal, so remind me who you are and well make you RED!

Good Morning Ladies *yawn*

Tummy ~ Yeah, it is a bit chaotic getting everyone on the same page. But at least the two older ones help me out, when they aren't fighting. Congrats on the no Christmas Cookie showdown.

Msp ~ Well thanks for taking care of the thread. It means so much to all of us, to have it here, active and up to date. So thanks.

Miss Mallee ~ Congrats on the date and I hope you guys have an excellent time.

Alright ladies, I got a late start today. I just couldn't get to sleep last night. All the anxiety and worrying tend to get me like that this time of year. I'm sure it will get better after tonight, as least I hope I'll get some rest tonight. I don't know if I'll make it on tonight, as our little tour bus thing is at six, so I may be too tuckered out to even hit the switch on the PC. I have some ST'ing and some Cardio to get to today, so I'm gonna get my arse off of here and get to it. Gotta pick out everyones outfits to where tonight and then find me something to where. I literally have nothing that looks good. Everything is entirely too big, even my shirts. I look so funny in anything I put on. I'll do my best. Anywho, you ladies take care and have the best day you can possibly have.

Morning,

Miss Mallee - woohoo on a date, how marvelous. So is he taking you somewhere nice? hmmm? Details!

MsP - It must be the girls, lol, so highly verbal, that was the hard part rocking in the chair before bed, trying to figure out the 3 year old answer that question other than, because I said so.

My scale is being a boot too, still 136.6 after that one super low 135.8 day. No crazy food or salt but I woke up late on that low day so I'm guessing that was a lower reading than normal. Two weeks here now with that minor bump up from my stay at the friend's place and it can go lower any time. It is just such slow going at the end, my goodness, ah well so it goes. It won't be nearly as rewarding if it were easy.

Have a great day ladies.

TUmmy---about that wagon. The good thing is this. I have not even come close to eating all of my calories for the day. So....that is good. Did workout with the physical therapist today and we were both commenting on how much looser and bigger my clothes were fitting. last night at work, I was able to wear a pair of scrub pants that I had bought in 2003 that were too tight. So, there is progress being made. I have my head straight. So, I am eating within my calories and am trying out this whole increased carb thing. Christmas is in a few days and we are being inundated with carby things. So I pick and choose then get my arse kicked by either the trainer or the physical therapist and it is all good. Today is my day off. Both cars are now fixed. That is a long story which made for a long night. And we are looking forward to a great year. Made an old favorite of mine cabbage and noodles. I am taking it to work for the girls tomorrow. My grandmother used to make it for me as a child. I have not had too much. So that is good. I am off to quiznos after I run my errands for a salad and then just some chicken for dinner. SO I should be good. But as I learned last week. I still do not eat enough at times. Yesterday, by the time I got home from work and picking up my husband at midnight I was barely at 1100 calories. So, I had some wholegrain and sesame taco chips and salsa. One serving. Carbs and fiber and a little treat all at the same time. That put me at 1350 which is still not enough. So... but all this protein wreaks havoc on the digestive system. Once that is good again. I will be in great shape. Thanks again for all of your advice and support.

I love you all!!!

Good Morning Ladies

Dixiemae ~ No worries about yesterday and here's to a great OP day for you today. Sending you lots of happy thoughts.

Jellofer ~ Sounds like you are doing great on this new plan of yours. Good for you darling.

Tummy ~ You're right those things that come easy are a blessing, but not near challenging enough.

Well we had a great evening last night. The boys got a 100 bucks each to spend as they saw fit at walmart and they had a blast. I was exhausted by the time I opened everything and put things together. It was like a mini-Christmas and definitely not looking forward to doing all that two more times in the next couple of days. I mean seriously, is it really neccasary to put 50 twisty ties on a toy? Then you have the ones with little screws and straps...I mean geez...it's in a package..its not going any where. Anywho, I had a good day and a good deficit yesterday, so here's to another OP and calorie scorching day. You ladies have a good day.

Delphi~Thanks for the positive thoughts. I need them.. Going to leave here in a few minutes and start making candy and pretzels. At least right now they don't sound good. I will be glad when the food phase part of the holidays are over and the left overs are gone!

Morning,

Jellofer - Well that certainly sounds busy, no wonder you're having torouble eating enough. I found that low carbing too, my stomach did not want to eat sometimes and I would only get a mouthful or two in and that's all I could muster. I beat ca you'll be all set in no time and glad you're enjoying some old favorites again, I'm a big fan of the cabbage and noodles myself

Dixiemae - Second to what Delphi said, it's over, you're good and you're onto something else, like a marvelous OP empowered day. Have a wonderful time with dd.

Delphi - I know, so true, I hate those stupid toy thingys, like honestly, who's gonna steal a thing in a box, oh and then let's put tape on the twist ties so they're extra hard to get open. Glad you had a good time with the boys and only two days until it's done and we can figure out where to put all the new stuff, lol. Half my dd's toys went into the basement already, can't stand clutter and we keep getting packages in the mail for her from every relative under the sun, it's getting bad. Do you at least get to stay home for the next couple of days and celebrate at home?

I think it was SG who had a massage and lost a big chunk of weight afterwards and I totally forgot until this morning, lol, lost 1.6lbs to hit my 135.0 on the nose. So MsP, please make me RED , at least for the 135 part, I guess I still need to work on that maintaining part.

But as far as the massage she did a lymphatic drain and it turns out a lot of the soreness in my shoulder blades was fluid, I peed 3 times in 20 minutes, crazyness, and now my upper back is dandy. Uber weird thing too, within the first two seconds she touched a part of my leg and said, oh how long has it been since you had your period. Hoenstly freaked me right out since it's been since August and I didn't say a word, lol, sometimes I forget how connected our bodies are but she's going to work on that next time, for now I just really wanted my back freed up.

Alrighty better jet, got to do something, I'm sure of it, and then wrap some presents that have turned up in the mail for our dd, and here I thought I was done. I think I might avoid the mail today and hope nothing else comes.

Have a wonderful day ladies. Merry Christmas Eve, Eve.

Hey Ladies!

I have officially reached my December goal. 205.8! I'm so excited. I was stalling there for a bit and I'm finally going back down again!

Ms Perception, Delphi, Tummy Girl; Thank you and for all those questions about the date. I'm not thrilled that I met him online, but I did and we've been talking for about a month. We talk every single day, morning, afternoon, and night. We're going to go to Red Robins, I haven't been there in forever and it's his favorite. Then we're going to go see a movie, Sherlock Holmes anyone? He's paying. I'm so excited, but nervous of course since I met him online. He's 21, in the Navy, and lives maybe a half an hour away.

And Delphi, I never mentioned that it's good to see you back.

Tummy ~ That's great news bout' the back and the info. I still have that spa gift certificate my friend sent me for my birthday, so I'm seriously thinking about doing the massage, but I'm so uncomfortable with the whole thing. How do you get past the mental part of it?

Miss Malle ~ Awe thanks dear. And ya know, I've been thinking of the online dating scene as well. It's been awhile and well I wouldn't mind getting back out there, but I never leave the house, unless I'm going to the grocery store ya know...so I don't see how I will ever meet anyone, unless I do try some online service. Do you recommend one? Anyways, good luck and I hope you have tons of fun. Stay safe sweetie..OH and on meeting your december goal.

Not the best day for me. I think I just about broke even with my calories today. I did get my cardio in, so I don't feel like a complete slob for over indulging. But I'm excusing myself and giving myself leadway for the next two days. It may not be right, but I think life is a bit too short to never indulge here nor there. Before I just indulged all the time without thought...now I can plan for it and not feel so bad. I shall not deprive myself of my grandmothers labor...I will so do extra cardio and extra everything for just one of her meals. Well thats the plan and I intend to keep it. Well you ladies have a great evening.

Hey Ladies,

Delphi;; Thank you. I'm so happy I finally made my goal. I haven't been on the dating seen for about 2-3 years since a really bad break up in high school. So I completely know where you're coming from. The site that I'm on is completely free; okcupid.com You don't pay any money for anything, as far as trying to see your matches or messaging them. If you pay money they just plaster your name an profile on the matches area so more people see your profile I guess. You can even see people that visited your profile. I really liked it. And It's almost Christmas! Of course indulging is in order. I will be, but I'll just make sure my portions are in check.
