Dance- Did you get new appliances in your new house or the old one? Where are you now? Sorry if this is repetitive for you.

Dance- my goal is just to maintain for the next 2 weeks.. i bounce back and forth everyday between 183 and 184. so.. as long as i don't gain. I'll be happy.

I'm gonna get back on it and be serious about this again in january. My last day of work is January 9th.. so I'll have plenty of time to exercise and study for the CCRN (a critical care nurse specialty exam). So.. that will be my life in january. Hoping to be in the 170s by end of january. I got all of my christmas shopping done today. YES! now i have nothing to worry about. I can focus on my husband being here. Talk to you all later!

Whew I made it through the day with no cheats...I am amazed. Ok I will admit I had one chocolate chip cookie but nothing else. But considering all the junk food hanging around my office today and my hangover crying for it I did awesome. Everyone was amazed that I was eating salad and chicken at lunch and they were wolfing down pasta and burgers. A moment of proudness!! However I won't be doing this drinking nasty thing again for awhile - just not worth the pain I'm home now at 9PM - and going right to bed!

Dance and AJ - so jealous you guys get to meet...me someday too!!

Lindy - you are on fire I see..that is awesome and your goal is realistic, just think how awesome you are going to look next summer!!!

AJ - what did you end up having for dinner?

Rockymtn - I know - I can't believe that I did it. THis means that I am really serious about this now and I am really happy. I am getting fitted for my games time uniform on Thursday and I am getting one size smaller. Yet another incentive to lose some pounds...I can use every incentive. But I can tell already in my face, my stomach and arms. I can tell I am off the medication because it's much easier to lose the weight now. What a difference. I am looking forward to my workout tomorrow morning.

Dance - yeah on the run - isn't it slippery though?

Well sorry if I missed anyone, I am heading to bed, I am hoping to see Bradley Cooper at the gym again tomorrow!!!

I have a not too bad day so I should be able to check in a few times!!

On the way to being skinny girl (but with a booty) signing out

Vicky-hope your back is feeling better. Yay for hitting the 50lb mark, so proud of you.

Staccie-4 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!! You rock. Work sounds hectic but you are doing amazing eating clean. You amaze me with staying away from the junk food. I tried to at the christmas party saturday night but probably had one too many cookies.

AJ-woohoo on losing 2 lbs, we all knew you could do it. It feels good to get back to those workouts right? How are the blisters, sometimes shoes are worth the pain. I am gonna work my butt off this week just no outside walks, it got down to 18 today.

Popcorn-congrats on your 2.5 lbs, everyone is doing so good. Hope you feel better really soon. Did you drink enough water today?

Neesy-enjoy all the time you have with your hubby. Wow not long now til you are done with work.

Rocky-yay for 1 lb gone forever.

Lindy-my sister didnt take before and after shots from 30ds. She has lost more weight. Maintaining is great for this time of year but I am seriously gonna kick it up and try to keep losing. Good for you for getting back in the gym, even if you have to start slower than where you were before.

Dance-when in Jan do you go to Costa Rica?? You can get in those 8s before then. 10 days til christmas. I plan on working out 9 out of the 10. Only 5 days til we leave for AL.

Kitty-hope you had a good day too. Did you get a workout in?

Today was ok food wise, still hanging out at 201. I want to see 200 by Friday and then maybe 199 by Sunday. I am gonna work hard for it the next few days. Got some last minute shopping to do tomorrow for some ppl here before we leave. Cannot wait to get out of the snow and AJ cant wait to see it. So happy to be able to spend Christmas with my family this year, just wish my sis could come home from NZ but we are all gonna video chat with her. Hope everyone has a great night.

Staccie I am gonna watch Bradley Cooper(The Hangover)-hope you see him at the gym tomorrow.

Still under the weather here. Will post more later.

Staccie - I love Bradley Cooper's eyes but I am sure that is not what you were looking at when he was on the stairmaster in front of you. Hope you have another spotting.

Sounds like the rest of you are doing good. I can't wait to get better and join you.

Dance - Im so jealous of you! You get to meet one more of us. I extended an invite to AJ to come stay with me and shes considering it, so hopefully I will be neck in neck with you, lol. How is the house coming along?

Burgundy - what is your sister doing if you dont mind me asking? When you reference shes losing weight the wrong way? Im so excited for you that you are able to spend the holidays with your family.

Stacie - Damn those hangovers! I do not handle a hangover well at all, I pretty much go into a sleep induced coma until I feel better and god forbid I put an incling of food in my mouth...it doesnt hold well. So Im taking it that you didnt make it to the gym? lol

Neesy - sounds like a plan, maintaining is just as much of challenge, especially during the holidays. Your getting so close to hubby being here - yay you!

AJ- whats the exercise plan today? Do you have access to a pool?

I didnt make it to the gym this morning but Im going to do 30DS this evening, hopefully that will work for me.

staccie - girl, you are just rockin' it! Great idea on ordering the uniform smaller - that totally worked for me with the bridesmaid's dress thing this past summer. It's the public humiliation factor

burgundy - love your attitude - you go! You've got this in the bag!

aj - I'm fixing up my old house before I sell it so the new appliances are in the old house. Confusing and chaotic but I think it will be worth the effort if it helps the house sell quickly this winter.

neesy - sounds like a great plan - looking forward to seeing what you accomplish when you're hitting it hard again in January!

Off to work...

Im soooo tired because I didnt get to bed until 1 am last night (or this morning...whatever, lol). I CAN DO IT!!! I have a 150 goal by January 23rd.

Hey,

I'm in such a crappy mood today - I am ready to rip people's heads off. I think its from the alcohol - seriously, I can't drink anymore at all. I managed to work out this morning but the stress of work today is really getting to me. I don't even want to eat but I know I have to because I will binge if I don't.

I haven't been this crabby in a long, long time. Sigh. Plus I saw the hugest rat today (I have never seen one before). Anyway sorry for being a downer, I just had to vent....the thought of bad food really appeals to me right now but I'm not going to do it. Off to get my chicken and salad....

Be back later and hopefully in better spirits!

lindy - so nice to have you a regular visitor again! Wow - 150 - you go, girl! If anyone can do it, you can! I hear you on the tired stuff - no workout for me today but I'm shooting for a run again tomorrow.

staccie - yuck about the rat. Good for you for sticking to chicken and salad. What can we do to help you get in a better mood? **sending waves of happy thoughts in Staccie's direction** Hang in there, kiddo!

aj - I've been sticking to two soft-boiled eggs for breakfast for the last few weeks at your suggestion a while back - it's helped so much in managing the rest of the day (less carb cravings, etc.). Thanks so much for the helpful suggestion!

Dance- I am so glad that has helped!

I am not sure any of you know this but my minor was in fine art and I am elbow deep in acrylic paint trying to get a painting done for my husband for christmas. I don't eat when I am painting. I don't think about food and I don't crave food. Not sure what it is but back when I smoked (2 years ago almost) I didn't even crave ciggs while painting. Maybe I need to perma paint and I will be thin.... HEY! The last time I really painted... I was thin! lol.

Have a good evening ladies!!

aj - how incredibly cool to have a creative outlet like that! If you're comfortable with it, can you post a photo of your painting when you're done? I'd love to see!

I'm doing one of my green-tea marathons today (lots and lots of cups, mostly decaf) and it's helping a ton with squashing my appetite. Not nearly as fun sounding as creating art, but I'll take what I can get : )

Doing well on calories so far and should have no problem staying under 1400. Hope everyone's doing great!

hey girls. So.. I was just reminiscing about this past year and looking back at old posts. It's officially one year since this "weight loss buddies" forum was started. I am so glad that everyone has joined on.. and look how far we have come! We all have to be really proud of ourselves. Look at us.. We stuck through it.... through all the ups and downs.. of the scale and life.. for an entire year! Sooooo proud of all of you. I really am so grateful for all of you. Thanks for being my buddies=) I couldn't have made it this year without all of your support. Here's to another great year!
