AJ - I love the zoo! Great walk and cute animals, it is perfect! I wish we lived closer and I could do walks there weekly, but we're down in Tech Center, so it is a 20 minute drive without traffic... with traffic, who knows!
The best blister treatment EVER are those Johnson & Johnson blister band-aids (generic brand don't do well for me), they are amazing! They are hydro-culliod, and can be worn for a couple days, don't move around and seal around the blister and helps heal with moisture, but while keeping it sterile, it is crazy but so great! They are also AMAZING on burns! but with a burn you'll see a white lump/bubble form above the owie in the bandage, but that's how it heals and you'll cut weeks off your healing time. They use giant ones for huge burns in hospitals.
OKay... blisters =ouch but new boots = <3 Love!! =)
(2 pair!)
I can't tell you how much better about life shoes make me feel. LOL. I am getting two pair of new uggs for xmas too which is like OMG for me. I have issues well beyond my weight. hahahaha.
aj - cute boots! Sorry about the blisters - I agree on those super healing bandaids - they're awesome. But you shouldn't have shoes that give you horrible blisters - do you need new ones or to lace them tighter or wear different socks? Anyway, you'll be back in your skinny jeans in NO TIME! Us denver girls have to pull it together, right?
staccie - big giant happy dance for 4lbs - girl, you are my hero!! Way to go!!!!!!
popcorn - woohoo for two pounds - at this time of year especially, that's a huge accomplishment!
Lindy - good for you for maintaining your incredible loss - you must be looking super cute in your bikini these days - do we get an updated pic soon?
Neesy - have a blast with your hubby and we can hit the dieting thing hard again in the new year!
I tried on some of my vacation clothes to get me motivated this morning after a good run yesterday. I'm planning on running again tomorrow morning but today will just be boring stuff - up and down the stairs emptying out the fridge and putting stuff in the basement fridge temporarily getting ready for new appliances tomorrow at 7am (yikes!). I'm so not an early morning person.
DANCE - its blonde lol tryin to keep up the work out but its not to bad i guess AJ - u got blisters ouch hey at laest ur still goin at. BURGANDY - doin alright nice to know ur doin good to. POPCORN - thanks ill ask 4 advice wen i need it lol. great to know all of u r doin alright and aj it hurts but hang on i believe u can do
Thanks everybody for the congrats... helps puts things in prospective... yeah, I was hoping for 2 or 3 lbs, but 1lb is still 1lb closer to my goal, and one lb I'll never see again!
AJ- Such cute boots, love them!!!
Dancer- Where are you going on Vacation? How exciting!
Hi girls, quick update from me. Busy weekend. Everyone is waiting for me to get to onederland, but it didnt happen this week:-( I maintained at 201, but I will take it cos i ate quite a bit this weekend and havent really worked out. I will catch up with everyone tomorrow. Have a good night
Kitty- Thanks so much. I need all the cheerleaders I can get!!
Dance- Yes. What would you like to shoot for? I will run with no shoes if I have to. I did that to finish today. Not bad/not great but I have to excersize.
Rocky- OMG I would give my left breast for a 1 pound loss. LOL. One pound a week is whats happening for me but in the wrong direction! You go girl.
Rayne- Miss you. I am glad you maintained. You will hit it this week. Just buckle down during the week!! NO COOKIES =) I know its freezing there so I know walking is prob out the window but maybe the gym?
Ack, well I drank twice as much as I should have, BUT I didn't eat anything bad and that is major for me. I am not impressed that I drank too much but I have to celebrate the small successes! There was tons of bad food and I ate some chicken and a few crackers and that was it. Now the beer, well yeah not so good but stayed within my calorie range, I had a crappy day and it felt good! Now it's getting up to work out, but I am determined!!!
I came home starving and ate a piece of toast and some cerel. I usually eat bad stuff - so that is good. Now i have a killer punishing workout tomorrow
AJ- OMG, I LOVE THE BOOTS!!! Your an Uggs girl like me, I have 2 pairs, one in brown and one in black, both are ridiculously too warm for Florida, but hey...they look cute, right? lol Ok girly, how did you do with food and exercise yesterday. You have one week till you go back home..lets do this!
Dance- an updated pic, yeah...I really need to do that. I think that will help because I think I lost 25 more pounds since that pic was taken? Hmmm...not sure. Anyway, Ill put that on my things to do, but certainly not this week, as good ole' TOM is here...yay me. So you tried on the vacation clothes? How did that go, are you pretty much there (as in them fitting)?
Burgundy - its ok to maintain, especially around the holidays. Most people gain around this time so my mind set is, if I can maintain and not gain, them Im good. I dont even care about losing at this point.
Stacie- at least you stayed in your calorie range. Those darn beers get cha everytime, lol. Im impressed with your after night out snack. When I drink, I dont know why but I feel the need to go to Denny's (24 hhour restaurant) and ravage their menu, I mean...eat pure crap, or worst....if I just want to go home, I go to Taco Bell! So, kudos to you. SO what workout did you decide to go with?
Ok, so Im happy to say I made it to the gym this morning for an hour and a half!!! YAY ME!!! Im a little bummed because it is quite obvious that taking a break for 2 weeks has definately affected how I perform in the gym. My weights were all decreased by like 10-15 pounds and I could only swin 10 minutes on the eliptical before I was covered in sweat but who knows, this could be a good thing, a kick start for my metabolism. On a completely unrelated topic, I HATE HAVING A ROOMMATE!!! Lol...I look forward to the day that I make mucho money and dont have to have someone living in my house. My flippin roommate left the front door WIDE OPEN last night when she came in and I didnt know it till this morning when I woke up to go to the gym! I know it was not intentional but heres my thought process....my freakin 3200 dollar dog could have walked right out the front door to never be seen again, the Christmas presents under the tree could have been stolen, I could have been raped while sleeping or worst off...there are crazy people who break into peoples homes to kidnap kids, no....no issues at my house, my roommate thinks we have open door policy for all child molesters, murderers and rapist. YES, I know Im being dramatic but it took everything in my power to not knock on her door this morning and pull her out by her hair, my god was I Pi$$ed! So, I told her that we needed to have a talk when I come home for lunch today (shes off on Tuesdays). Ok, thank you for letting me release my rath of anger, lol.

Oh Lindy I'm so sorry about crappy roommates! I had three roommates in college when we rented a house and it was horrible! We had the womanizer, the drunk, and the ultra-holy... it was not a good combo, including the infamous time the ultra-holy kicked the drunk out of the house cause "god told him to"... I vowed never to have roommates again! Now I'm living with my fiance and before we moved in together I was extremely concerned it would almost be like a roommate situation, which of course it wasn't... but eek! Roommates are no fun!
I think you're well in your rights to explain to your roommate that you know it is a mistake, but it is a dangerous mistake... even if there aren't rapist and murderers on your block, your dog could escape, a wild animal could come in, your wasting AC or heating, neighbors may think something bad happened and call 9-1-1 when they see your door wide open...
Let us know how the "talk" goes!
Lindy - Yikes on the open door! I've accidentally left a door unlocked a time or too but never wide open - that's pretty scary! Definitely merits a big talk. Good for you on the workout! And yes, the vacation stuff that I got in size 10 is fitting but the 8s - well, 'nuff said. It just ain't pretty. I haven't given up though - I'll be wearing them by the time it gets warm again here.
aj - I'm shooting for 3 miles today - barefoot sounds creative - just don't hurt yourself!
staccie - good for you for watching your food intake at the party - I'm sensing another amazing sunday weigh-in coming up for you! Working out with a hangover is tough - I can't believe you can make yourself do it!
burgundy - can you join AJ and I in a virtual workout today? If it's too cold out, can you join us for whatever equals three miles in video-workout-land? You are soooooo close - we'll help you push through this week!
rocky - one at a time, baby! And you asked about my vacation plans - we're headed to costa rica in January. I was hoping to be a bit less jiggly by then but I still have time to lose a few more if I get super motivated. You won't see it on my ticker thought as I'm using a new scale and I'm not at ticker quite yet since the new scale disagreed with my old one. I refuse to raise my ticker though - ah, the mind games we play to motivate ourselves
Hope you all are having a great day! New appliances are arriving in minutes so things are nutty here as usual....
