Hey Ladies!! Tomorrow I am going to get serious about losing this weight. I used to post pretty regularly on this forum back a couple years ago and got to slacking in more way than one, so some weight is back one. I am going to do small goals at a time, but I would love to be apart of your challenge. I realize that September is almost over so I guess I am wondering if you all do an October challenge? If so can I be a part of that? Thanks Ladies!!

Meowmix - I think you could manage in an apartment alright. The plyometrics video is all jumping but the goal is to land quietly and on your toes so your aim really is no not make noise. That being said, that's really hard in the beginning and you kind of sound like an elephant jumping up and down but there are a lot of modifications you can do in the video where you step instead of jump and things like that. You still get a great workout without the noise and impact. And if you choose to do the "Lean" routine you won't have to do the plyometrics video at all and just a small section of plyometrics in the cardio x video (which again you can modify to not be so loud). The other thought I had is that for the pull ups and chin ups you can use a band or a pull up bar. In an apartment I don't know where you would be able to hang a band from so that you could simulate the pull up motion properly. I use an exposed rafter in my basement and I know a few ppl who use the open rafters in their garage. You may need to invest in a pull up bar given the structural limitation of the apartment. Other than that I'd say you're good to go and shouldn't have a problem. I do highly recommend it and Nello is doing it here too and she loves it too! Good luck and let me know if you need anything else.

Helpmelose - Hey there, welcome to our happy little corner of the world. First congrats for putting the brakes on when you did, and maintaining that 30lbs loss, that's great! Post often, come on over to the weight loss thread if you want and I look forward to getting to know you

Tummy Girl - Thanks so much for the info. I shy away from workout DVD's since a lot of them have you jumping or stomping but I've been getting a little bored with elliptical/yoga, elliptical/yoga day after day. I'm still a little unsure as it's quite a bit of money and I don't know if it will be ok with the DH but at least now I know it's something I could do even on the second floor.

Thanks tummy girl.... I know that I need to take control of it now before it gets out of control again it was hard to get it off to begin with so I am ready to get my bootie going again and get back down. I have not seen 117 since probably about 19 or so, about 10 years ago! I will be 30 in January and want to look and feel great!!!
