I tried out the Sat strength training class at the Y. It was 75 minutes long. Yikes. I didn't have quite the stamina I needed but I did okay. Hopefully tomorrow I will have the right amount of soreness that means I worked hard enough. I only used the 5 pound weights a couple times for some shoulder exercises and probably could have got by with the 7.5 pound. I didn't know how many repetitions would be involved. Some of the women in the class were using 10 pound dumbbells so hopefully I will too someday.
