Hey, Terapet - do you do Zumba @ a gym or do you have DVDs? I did one class at the gym, surprisingly LOVED it, but want to find DVDs for when I'm not around the gym. I posted this question over in Exercise but nobody replied

---

Overall, I've done OK in this first week of July. Still away from home. Have done hour-long walks every day except the holiday (strenuous walks - lots of hills). Sadly - I am looking forward to getting back to my routine!! Until I see some permanent maintainable changes, it stresses me out a bit to be "free form" since my whole new way of life only began a month ago. ha! I'm trying really hard to establish good habits ...

You guys are definitely inspiration to push myself!

Hi Emma-I love Zumba too. I have only done Zumba in a class though so I do not know of any DVDs.

Congrats on your new commitment. From your ticker it looks like commitment has it rewards. Keep it goin' girl!

7/3: 30 min water exercises, 45 min walk
7/4: 30 min walk

Well, a quick note from vacation...staying VERY active (I'm only counting 1/2 the minutes from sports activities!) Having lots of fun, but it's tough making "good choices" with ffod since I'm not cooking or choosing my food 90% of the time. I'm gonna keep on doing my best and stay active. You ladies keep on doing all you can! I wish I had more time to read/do personals but we don't have the laptop like we thought we would. I'll check back in a day or two....

Ms_P, great job on all the exercise and activity! Woohoo!

LoveDC, WTG on getting back to yoga and back on track!

Terapet, I know! Woohoo! My DH bought me a nice elliptical from a thrift shop, and although I don't have it as part of my goal to use it 5 times a week in addition to moderate exercise (I actually have a couple of days scheduled off), I did use it that much the first week because I'm kind of enthralled by it right now, lol!

MY EXERCISE:
July 1--15 min elliptical
July 2--45 min strength training; 30 min walking
July 3--15 min elliptical
July 4--15 min elliptical
July 5--40 min strength training; 30 min walking
July 6--15 min elliptical
July 7--15 min elliptical
WEEK 1--ALL EXERCISE IN!
July 8--
July 9--
July 10--
July 11--
July 12--
July 13--
July 14--

Mystical-Way to Go on the weight loss!

I tried to work a bit harder at strength training yesterday. I am feeling a bit sore today so it probably helped some. I know what I really need is to add a second strength workout to my schedule but it won't be this week as I am probably heading out of town for the weekend so I will probably miss all my classes from Thursday thru Monday. Yikes.
