Hey all,

OP today did well yesterday 1230cal, today 1400 ish, so happy with that, on with a bit of exercise but not too much I have a bad headache.

OMG MEL Fingers and toes crossed for you !!!

I think you would liek england and scotland, sooooo pretty in scotland, and great in england too, I love where I live - its away from the big cities and close to coast and farmy so its a good mix. Now they have the euro here it makes travel alot easier, its not much different to the £ and $ exept more expensive, but then everything in europe is expensive =( I've never bothered travelling to anywhere in europe as its too close to home. I think though that greece although pretty is very holiday destination and alot of the towns are jsut music and teeny drunk based, I like culture and i think its spoilt with the tourism there.

Hope everyone is op

Wink

Eating was on plan today (well when isn't it?). I walked with my friend for about 30 min. We did do a little jogging. I have convinced her to do a 5k with me on June 13th, the day before my birthday. She is just begining so we are working her into it. When she was finished I went on to run a 12 min. mile. I would love to get that down to 10 min. Then I'll work on distance.

This thread is similar to the BL challenge was at the start. It is fun to see so many people working hard and posting alot. BL always dies out by the end. I hope this one stays strong. I love a big crowd.

Lots of people talking about school finishing. I have 4 weeks, 3 1/2 more days to teach, counting this week. I am ready to be done. I have so much to do at home now that spring has actually sprung. I might have to use a few sick days here and there over the next few weeks.

Can i just say, I LOVE TARA!!! I want to be Tara when I get to my goals. I cannot believe what they did tonight. I think I'm strong, but I don't know about all that.

See ya later.

Well a little over on Calories today at about 1600. I really need to stay a lot closer to 1200 but I did get in an hour of exercise so I'm happy with that and I got in my h2O today. So all in all a good day.

I also had such a nice surprise when I came home from work DF had a dozen roses waiting for me for no reason at all! It was just so sweet, (its not something I normally get) It made my entire night!

Glad to see that everyone is doing well!

mtiger, I agree with you - it is great to see so many people posting so regularly! I love to hear about everyone's progress, especially in life in general, not just losing pounds, but all these extras that this thread brings in. Losing weight is hard, but losing weight and staying happy, and motivated, not feeling deprived, but feeling better about yourself is even harder - though much more worth it!

I am also totally impressed by Tara, and all of them last night - I honestly do not think that I could walk a marathon without stopping. And I am smaller than all of them! It's a motivation to me to push myself - even if I look okay, it doesn't mean I'm strong and healthy.

And don't worry about that mile - getting from 12 minutes to 10 is so doable! I have started running a mile a day, and I am down to 10:30 which is faster than I ever ran it in high school when I was tiny, and it's only taken me a week or so to get there from 15 minutes. Keep us updated with your progress!

tmil206 - That is so sweet about the roses! I wish my boyfriend would even pick a dandelion for me... he has NO clue about flowers. The only time he ever got me any was after a ton of not so subtle hinting around Valentine's day. Then I found out he just asked his friend to pick some out. It's a good thing he's got so many other redeeming qualities! Congrats on the exercise and water, and I'm sure you'll do better on your food this week. You can do it!

theresia - Great work on a whole month OP. I have been under calories every day, but not every day has been great choices. I'm sure your hard work will show up on the scale soon enough!

mckenziesmomma - ooh a baby is so exciting! I'm joining in on the finger crossing and congratulating! A baby is great motivation to be healthier! Remember that the diet coke is bad for the baby, but it's also not great for you! You don't need all those chemicals anymore than baby does. Good luck on kicking the habit!

Good luck to everyone today. Time for superearlyAM yoga class.

Great job everyone!

I'm so impressed with all of you in school - I could never stick with it. I think I've gone to 3 different colleges and never made it past freshman year in any of them!

Stayed on plan yesterday Didn't do much decluttering, but quick purged a few things at the end of the day. Tomorrow I am going to take a bath and do a clay mask because I have a date on Friday
Also today I'm going to write up the LAST paper needed for our adoption homestudy! Tomorrow I will deliver it and hopefully we'll be done and ready to move on to preparing our dossier.

Today I did day 2 of the Shred - Whew! It was tougher than yesterday. Afterward half of me was thinking "You can do that again tomorrow" and the other half was thinking "NOOOOOOOOOOO Run AWAAAAAAAAY"
That workout is tough! But I can tell -it works!!

Hi Friends,

I must confess. I allowed myself to go off-plan yesterday. Hubby and I went to see Wolverine and I had buttered popcorn for dinner. Today, I want to kick myself for making such a terrible choice. But, I'm not allowing this to de-rail me from my goals. Today, I will be on the treadmill for 60 minutes and my calories and menu are planned for the day.

BTW - Hugh Jackman is hotter than hot! Yowsa! And, I just love Helen on the BL. She is a wife and Mom and kicks butt! I'd love to run a marathon one day.

Wow so I have gotten myself back on the Weight Watchers but am not keeping records as well as I would like to. As I mentioned before my big thing is that I don't eat enough. But I am trying to have toast in the morning with a water and then a fruit and fiber one bar as snacks for the morning and afternoon. Smart Ones make my lunch so much easier as the points are already calculated. I didn't want to spend the money on the WW subscription so I am just keeping a journal. I did cheat last night as I had margaritas for cinco de mayo which then prevented me from cooking dinner so my boyfriend bought ice cream sundaes! urgh. But i weighed in today and I was down!!!

Exercising hasn't started yet which means I haven't gone tanning. I did make the move to bring my elliptical up from the basement and into the den so I am more apt to use it. I plan to get up early tomorrow and jump on it!

Tonight I am meeting with my friend and we are going to create a weekly menu using WW recipes so that should help to keep me on track!

Glad to see everyone is doing soooo well! I did dig out some old pictures to use as motivation...something I would recommend for others. I keep one on my fridge and one on my mirror over my dresser!

Keep up the good work!

Sorry I have been MIA this week. I am a guidance counselor in an elementary school and this is our state testing week. So I have needed to be a work about an hour earlier than usual. So no time to post. I have stayed on plan each day and worked out yesterday for 1 hour. No workout on Monday went shopping with my girls after work and was exhausted by the time I got home.

Glad to see everyone going strong. I will catch up on all th posts this weekend.

Keep Up The Hard Work!!!

I love bootcamp! Or at least my scales do I haven't done too well at the decluttering, as work's been crazy, so that was the easiest thing to ignore, but my water, food and exercise have been great, resulting in a 1.6 kg (3.5lb) loss in six days. I'm boasting today because I'm going out to yum cha for lunch today, so they'll probably be a water bump tomorrow.

Congratulations to all those who survived the semester!
