Hey everyone, I weighed in at 167.8 this week. That's a loss of 1.6 for this past week. Only a loss of 2.6 for the month, but I'm going to be very strictly on plan for the next 2 weeks. In 2 weeks I have to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress.
Hey Everyone, This is a countdown post!!!! Theres only a week left to challenge. The last 3 weeks were really thought provoking. Not to mention kept me motivated. I loved coming here to read other posts and see I was actually loosing during my moments of discouragement. My original goal was 184lbs. But I think that was a bit exaggeraed for one month (13lbs is alot!). I am currently 189lbs... so i have a 3lb goal for this week. So May 31st I WILL be saying I weigh 186lbs!!!! Lets excerise this weight off in the last week of May. We can go this! Yay us!

ZooChick, Great job this week. Fitting into a dress is great motivation. I'm leaving to get married at the end of next month so I definitely know.
As for me I have been stuck the last couple of weeks and really not losing, it has been very frustrating. On Friday the scale said 137 this was up a couple of pounds from the days before (I'm sure it was water weight) but still UGH. Then today the scale magically said 133!!!!!!!!!! This was my monthly goal so I am very happy! Hope its not a fluke.

I'm up a bit this morning, but I am sure it was the salty chips I had with salsa last night. I got my cup of ice water and I will see just how many I can get down today. With only 6 days left in May I am still gonna try to reach my goal, if I don't that's ok too cause I did better than I thought!

Wow, only one week left! My month hasn't been going too well. Once again I gained this week (up 0.8 to 155.8). By all the calculations, I should be down a solid 1.2, but for some reason my body isn't following the rules. I totally pigged out on Monday, maybe that will shock my metabolism back into action.........
Boot Camp Day 3 So woke up with a very sore neck and had a terrible night's sleep. But I got up, put the sweatshirt and shorts on went out the door..IN THE COLD, COLD RAIN and schlepped to boot camp. We did do some laps in a drizzle and wind but did strength training and more cardio under a pavilion. Here's the breakdown:
warm up - laps - 10 minutes
squat/shoulder press combo *
standing lunges with weights *
more laps - 5 minutes
jumping jacks *
step ups *
chest press *
There was one more set of something, can't remember what
*We did 8 sets of each. Each set lasted anywhere from 45 - 60 seconds with about a 10 second rest in between
Heather- I would LOVE 2 pounds a week. I get 2 pounds a month.
Jacque- Sounds like Bootcamp is kicking your butt. Wish I could join you.
Zoo- that is a great loss.
To the others who are GAINING, or not making much progress- I HEAR YA. Loud and clear. I am getting very frustrated. Haven't lost a thing this whole month. I have gone up and down a little, but no REAL progress.
SO, I just keep working out and eating normally. I try to hit 1400 calories a day. I guess when I lose weight, I'll be the first to know. I can tell you this. I am sick of seeing 190 anything. I want to be in the 180's and never see a stinkin 9 again.
LLBeaner, Did you get the new EA Game for the Wii, I got it yesterday and love it. Completed day 2 of the 30 day challenge today. I love the interaction.
I did get the new EA Game for the Wii. I received it on Thursday and went out of town Friday. I am looking forward to using it today. I did test it out a bit on Thursday. One thing I noticed was once you agree to do a 30 minute workout or whatever there really isn't any way out of it unless you just return to the Wii Menu. Haven't really looked into it much but I will. I wish they made the strap for the leg a bit larger. I have monster soccer thighs and it falls off a lot!!! But tonight I will be trying it out while still doing my Wii Fit too!
Went WAAAAY off plan this weekend. We went away and I tried soooo hard to track my points while I was away but I was a bit higher then I should have been. We had cake like it was going out of style for my dad's birthday! I am at 180 right now (not sure where I was last but still not happy with this result). Will be busting my butt this week to make up for all the ice cream sundaes and cake that was consumed!!!!
mtiger- Im sorry. i guess i should be more grateful for any downward movement. I always tend to expect more. *slaps wrist* sorry. The good thing is we still have time, we can keep going!!!! I got pizza in my kitchen right now. I dont think the pizza will win, instead a nice big salad will. fingers crossed.
Up a little more today. I I am hoping it is my mid-cycle gain coming a little late. I really hope it doesn't stick around. I liked the 180's so much better than the 191.2 I saw today. I am begining to despise the number 9.
Did BL Bootcamp tonight for the first time in ages. It was tough. What a workout I got tonight.
Hey everyone, I finally got the new wii game in today. I absolutely LOVE it, it's soo much better than the original wii game. I did the first day of the 30 day challenge today. Can't wait to see how much of a difference it will make adding this to my routine. Hope ya'll had a good day!
