Hello, I'm sorry I haven't been around here so much.. I'm moving next week so I don't have much time with my computer right now.. Anyway, so far it has gone great with my exercise, I've been doing 30 Day Shred for 6 days in a row now.. Planning for doing it for 30 days.. and next week I'm planning to start a 10 week running program. Right now I can jog for 30 minutes, but that program will bring me up to one hour, so I'm looking forward to it, would love to be able to run much this summer..
However, my diet is worse, I've been eating candies every single day so far this week, will have to put a stop right now..

Yuck, it's raining, and it will be all day. My mom and I are headed to the Women Today Expo this morning. I did great sticking to my plan yesterday, but we'll probably be eating lunch while we're out, and I'm not so good at eating healthy when all those yummy but bad temptations are right there in front of me.

"Anyhoo, I think we are gonna mostly have rain this weekend so I'll prolly stick my nose in a book and try and keep it out of the fridge. lol! Anyone reading anything cool right now? I'm on the first book of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. It's pretty good so far."

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen is my favorite that I recommend to everyone and has NEVER disappointed.
As far as staying out of the fridge....everytime you want to go eat, drop and do 25 crunches...sometimes it works for me.

Good morning ladies

I've been having a really bad week with food. It showed on the scale this morning! I gained 2lbs. I need to get my *** in gear!!! Next Saturday when I get on that scale I want to see 269!! I want to get out of the 270's once and for all . I need to throw the leftover chinese food that's sitting in my fridge right now, in the garbage! I don't know if I can do it though....LOL!!! Also there's my BF's junk food sitting in the cabinet right now

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? I'm going to do some shopping later on and then finish my book. I only have 1 1/2 more chapters to go and then I can move on to the next book in the series. I'm reading Tithe by Holly Black.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
mjluva829~~Welcome!!!
theresia~~ OMG!!!! How in the world did you do the shred for 6 days straight???!!!! The first day I did it, I thought I was gonna die, literally!!! I did it for 3 days and that was it. But maybe I'll start it again on Monday. Jill is so mean...LOL!!! I love the art where she says "If your looking for a modified version of jumping jacks, don't! Because I'm not giving you one!!" She's crazy!!!!!
Moon Faerie~~Have fun at the women's expo!!
Happy Saturday Challengers!! Sorry I havent been supportive...too many things going on my rl I think! And I wonder why i dont lose weight...cuz I never take the time to focus on me and what I need! Doing the grocery shopping this weekend getting ready to make good healthy food choices and scheduling trips to the Y!! I think I need to just schedule appointments with myself.
I hope everyone is having a great OP weekend!! Avoiding those pitfalls!! We've got goals to achieve!! Dont let anything keep you from them!
I think the 25 crunches or even push-ups is an excellent idea!
As for the tickers:
Click on one of our tickers, and it should take you straight to a site, and you can make your own. then copy it and go to your User CP and paste it in your signature and hit save. I think you have been here long enuff and have enuff posts...I think...
EZMONY does these all the time in the Weight loss support forum. You can do it anyway you want. You can walk it, run it, swim, whatever, so long as you do 3.1 miles. He has directions in his post. This one is a St. patty's day one.
I had a bad food week too gf. I doubt I show anything but a gain on the scale Tuesday. *sigh*
Hi ladies, how has your saturday gone so far?
I am proud of myself because I managed to stay on plan, even with eating out TWICE today. Hopefully I will see some movement in the scale. I REALLY want to cross the 150/149 line by next saturday. I think I can, I think I can...
You guys are awesome. I love how quickly this challenge is growing
Thumbs down
Well ladies
I weighed in today. I only lost .4 pounds this week! I am so dissapointed! I worked out every day and I was never hungry. I do WW and I was completely in my points range. But they said, I didnt eat enough based on the amount I worked out and that is why I didnt lose as much. First, I am trying to eat less, now I am not eating enough? What a day is all I can say.
Oh well, there is always next week. Wish me luck! I know I can do it
I did okay-ish staying OP today. I still managed to barely squeak by under my calorie & fat gram goals, even with eating out twice AND getting a frap from Starbucks. I didn't work out though. I decided the 3ish hours of walking around today was good enough, considering half of it was carrying an additional 30 lbs of wiggly preschooler and my back now hates me. Gonna take a couple of advil and head to bed ready to go again tomorrow. Monday's my weigh in day, so I gotta be good tomorrow.
Hi ladies! Happy Sunday night! I had a pretty good weigh in on Friday, 165. That's good. BUT - I am nervous, I had a really, really bad weekend... food wise. I work full time and am in grad school part time - it's finals time which just happens to also fall in the middle of one of my craziest times at work. So this weekend I literally worked or studied non stop and ate, ate... stress eating is my WORST. Anyone have tips for how to conquer that beast? I have honestly been debating hypnosis? Am I nuts for considering it? I wonder... how can I have so much together in my life but be so otu of control w/food? UGH.
Hon-e-b - I hear ya on not taking time for yourself... and it's crucial for success! A wise woman on these boards was telling me to flip exercise in my head, to consider it my reward, my alone time... and then I'll look forward to it and see it as ME TIME, taking care of myself. I agree with that, that is MY time, nobody can touch. So why do I let them? NO MORE. My exercise time is my priority... it's the best way for me to manage stress.
Hope everyone is doing well!!!
No loss but that's ok. I've been doing really good. Did excellent on Friday. Saturday I did good with eating all day and then there were some after work drinks and then some pizza after the drinking. But Saturday morning I kicked butt in cardio/strength so I don't feel too bad. Today I was WAY under cals cuz I slept most of the day. LOL
