  • Hurray for week 6!

    Our luck isn't the greatest thats for sure. But things will get better, as long as I have my DH and kids we will get through all the rotten luck. The things that I can control I will.


    So for today I am planning on getting to the gym, then I will spend the day picking up the house and waiting for the papers from the ins co.


    I'm gonna go, I will post more after my workout.
  • I've done my five mile walk this morning! And guzzled down the first two of my eight glasses of water.

    As for attitude ... well, I definitely needed an Attitude Adjustment yesterday -- kept butting heads with DH. But we talked about it (of course, I spent several hours sulking first!) and I felt better. Not that anything about the situation has changed, or will change, but the lines of communication are open and that's important. And my attitude didn't affect my food yesterday, or my exercise. So today makes two days in a row that I've exercised! Woohoo!

    I'm getting VERY impatient to see some significant change on that challenge ticker. Guess I need to keep working on patience, too!

    So I got in my 60 minutes of cardio. I ran a bit, but I got a side cramp so I did more interval training. Haven't had a side cramp in a long time. Its noon (my time ) I have to feed my boy, then go watch Maks fantastic swim lessons. She is really loving every minute of them.

    D: As long as my family is healthy that is all I need. This string of bad luck will pass. It will help us appreciate what we have.

  • Vacation all I ever wanted....
    Vacation... have to get away.... (anyone else have a Go-Gos thing that comes on every now and then)

    but I'm back! AND I am down almost 3lbs! We only ate out 4 times in 11 days. That is essentially 33 meals we could have jacked up, and we only twisted 4 of them!!!!

    I cant believe all the stuff I missed. Here aremy general comments to get me all caught up!

    2. I can't wait to blog my adventures from my trip
    3. Sorry to hear about the auto accidents, but glad to hear no one was seriously hurt.

  • JCat- Love your attitude. And you are absolutely right about the things that matter most

    Lady- DH isn't a great communicater. I can usually deal but sometimes it drives me bonkers and I have a melt down. Great that it didn't throw you off.

    Nix- Relapse is part of the process. Been there. Great job on the loss!

    Had another great day with the kids. Ate some junk but played all afternoon and went for a walk with my oldest. It was a blast! I can't imagine the day when the kids are going to need anything other than me and DH, so I cherish these days.

    Tomorrow's WEED:

    D- got the Stray Cats in my head thanks to Nix!

    Can we lose 10 lbs as a group this week?

  • nix- Welcome back to the real world. My vacation starts after 11 1/2 more work days. Man do I need it. I am about to go balistic on some kids at school. Hope you're done with the cigs now.

    Jeni- Well a micro is better than say the air conditioning. Things will start looking up soon.

    Lady- good walk. Great job keeping your jead on straight during stress.

    Jaya- Swim some for me will ya.

    Grazer- I will try my best to contribute to 10 pounds.

    I was down a little today. 189 flat. gotta keep it going. Just did some strength. i might go up tomorrow, I usually do after strength.
  • Work day today okay I took an extra long weekend so it will be tough, but It will be good to get back to it.

    Tomorrow I am heading north to look at another truck. So I will have to get up early and workout. We will leave as soon as we drop Mak at the bus.


    Nixie glad to see you back and Congrats on the 3 pounds!

    Grazer, I love good days with my kids! Nothing in this world beats that feeling.

  • I have been OP and my weight continues to climb. This sucks!

    Today, I am going to focus on my water and getting over 10k steps. Yesterday I had 14,621 and I still was UP a pound and a half!!
  • Morning chickies!
    I am soaking in the last day of my vacation today. Although I wanted a super lazy day, some how I got cleaning fever at 5:30 this morning and have about knocked out the biggest chores in the house. Hope it will lead to a do nothing afternoon!

    Mmavis.... hang in there. Drink an extra 8 oz of water today and maybe take ten to REALLY relax. Stress is my big weight keeper. If you do it, I will do the same. 10 minutes a day, everyday this week. Ready... go!

    Mindy--- 189... ahhhhh. You are my hero. How long have we been hovering 200ish, 195 ish.... and you slipped right into it. 189... good job! I swear I am going to following you down that road. You should feel fantastic. I am still 25 lbs behind you, and we were right there together for so long. Perserverance pays off. You're proof.

    Jcat- I love car shopping, I hate car buying. Hope you this all works out so that you end up with a blessing of an automobile.

  • Good Afternoon Ladies

    It has been a busy morning and afternoon for me. This morning I was really bad and had a ultimate breakfast with a little cheese and have of the bead and a soda....what a way to start off my day... LOL so now I am drinking water with lemon I am eating a big salad with mushrooms avocado tomato and instead of using a dressing I put lemon and pepper and dash of salt well...um..a little more than a dash .. LOL - I went on the treadmill for like 15 minutes and then tonight I am going to do the Wii.

    Do we know when everyone is going to be joining in on the chat?
