Tiff you are definately going through A LOT right now and I can SO relate. I gained 20 pounds while I tried to close on my house for 2 months!!! I brought this up when I first heard you were buying a house, god - I hope I didnt jinx you. I swear, if and when I buy a new house, I am going to pay someone to be my buffer, lol, so I dont have to deal with the headaches. Anyway - I DO know what Golden Coral is and PLEASE tell me that your having one of their rolls for me! mmmmmm.....they have the best rolls I have ever had in my life :drooling: Anyway, just get back on track tomorrow (or when the stress goes away).

So, I got at 1300 calories and by the time I picked up Gabriella at 515 to bring her to her dentist appointment, I was STARVING, so right next the dentist office was a Chinese Restaurant and I got Chicken Chow Mein with not 1 but 2 egg rolls. Grreeaaattt.....to make matters worst...I brought in the 30 DS to work to show a girl I work with the workout and forgot to take it home, so - now I skipped my evening exercise for the day. This is just freakin great, Im sure the scale is going to love me on Sunday. On a -kinda- positive note, I consumed 15 cups of water today, praying that the weight gain was water weight. Oh well.

Sorry for babbling, Idol is on...gotta go. GO ADAM!!! Lol.

Well, Lindy, I have actually lost weight since I started the process so you haven't jinxed me yet. Yes ma'am, I was nice enough to have a roll for you....and every one of you I do have to agree with you Lindy, those are the best rolls on the face of the earth. But the honey butter is what makes them the best. They are actually the only thing I actually go there for, I don't actually like any of the other food too much.

I don't think I did so bad, but I certainly didn't do good. lol. I definitely am not going to list what I ate though.

Part of my shift got cancelled today and I slept in really late.. which was nice. I ended up only going in for 4 hrs. Now I'm off 2 days. Wow.. I am pretty lucky to have so many days off and goofy me always complains about having to work. haha. Anyway, a couple more girls at work noticed I was losing weight. Which.. really I have been at a stand still for a couple months... It really gave me incentive. People DO notice. I definitely don't want people to notice me gaining weight EVER. So.. It kind of gives me that boost to keep going with this. I'm gonna go work out tomorrow and clean my house from top to bottom (a workout in itself).

I went bowling with my husband today and really got a sweat going somehow. But he talked me into getting a whopper. Which.. really didn't end up being that bad on my calorie intake. I really didn't eat much though. I could've ate a lot more of the right things instead.

Tiff- I'm with you. I don't really like golden corral's food.. but I love any type of bread or bagel. It's my weakness. Hope everything starts pickin up with your house.

My intake for today:
whopper no mayo-520
lemon ice - 100
2 english muffins- 200
breakfast sandwich-290
2 oranges-200?
sm. coffee-100
water, diet coke- 0
Total=1410

Hi ladies,

Hope you are all asleep and/or I suppose some working Lindy - I can gain up to 8 lbs before my TOM - I stay off the scale around that time to prevent myself from going crazy!!!

Kity - I weighed 192 and looked like I weighed 170 - I tend to lose a lot of inches and not change much on the scale. Best way to tell is trying on a tight pair of pants every week I refuse to be chained to a scale - I feel it can be the most inaccurate tool to gauge weightloss. I weigh once or twice a week and never around my TOM - week before and week after.

Mygrits - cheers to no chemicals - that's the route I am on. Nothing processed. When I stay on the wagon and dammit I am on it and NOT getting off, I eliminate as much as I can from my diet. Just eliminating the pop and diet pop alone is huge - better skin, less sodium and less cravings. I might check out that book!

I've had a clean and clear two days. Worked out both mornings, did something recreational in the evening and have not touched anything. I have been in the middle of all my favorite things at work and have not touched anything. I can't remember feeling this dedicated before. This is how I felt when I lose 70 pounds a few years ago so I am good to go! When I truly put my mind to something, not much can stop me.

Today I ate Special K, Protein Shake, Almonds, Chicken and Rice, pear, eggs and tomatoes and then a small bowl of fibre cereal after my walk. It's about 1400 calories which is still very low but I will get back up to 1600. That's one thing I learned the last time is starting calorie intake too low when I was at a high weight will slow down your metabolism and hit many more plateaus - at least for me anyway. It was the best piece of advice my nutritionist and trainer gave me.

Well I am off to bed...long day tomorrow. Wishing everyone well!!!

I wasn't able to post last night cause I was at my mom's for over 3 hours! She slept for the first hour I was there. I had to redo her meds cause she thought I had it wrong and 'did it herself' - well, she was wrong and I had to really go over it with her. She's very, very upset because she can't remember things but I told her it will get better with time. I offered to get large print crosswords so she can work her mind - use it or lose it.

As you can guess, since I was over there late, I was starving by the time I headed home at 8:45. The last thing I had was a banana at 2. I called my friend (who I've explained how I want support from him) and told him how I was stressed, tired, starved and didn't want to cook and had nothing quick at home. He said 'DO NOT GO THROUGH A DRIVE THRU- DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT GO!' Yah! I trained him well, took a while, but he's got it. Cause I was contemplating getting a burger with no mayo and tossing the bun even though I know those burgers are full of fat and salt. So while I got gas for my car, I was looking at the Wendy's next door. Then it hit me...they have chili that's pretty healthy. So that is what I had for dinner.

I also had the fact that today is a food day for mine and a co-worker's birthday today. I had to be good tonight and I HAVE TO control myself at work today. It's not the last food I will ever see in my life, these people will make this stuff again, etc. And, I have to keep in mind that after my 4 day binge last week...I am back at my last weight of 222. So if I can lose 1-2 lbs for Sunday, I'm still on track.

Sorry I can't comment on anyone right now, I will try again tonight.

Mmmmmm....still drooling over the Golden Coral bread.....:salivating: LOL
Tiff - Im glad you did to "too" bad. I NEVER go there, but one day after the theme parks last year, we stopped there because we had a ton of hungry people and that was in budget for everyone, well...I LOVED their salad bar, I had steak with feta cheese and cucumbers, yum...yum.

Neesy - sweating while bowling, hmmmm....its been a while since I have been bowling, I may have to go and see what happens. Good job with your food yesterday! Looks pretty balanced. And a big HOO-RAH for more co-workers noticing. Im starting to get a lot of that now, its really nice and refreshing.

Stacie - I am totally pumped up that you are in the zone and your sticking with your plan. Man oh man, is it because your in Canada or are you really sending posts 11, 12, 1 a.m.? Crazy! I think I am going to low of my caloric intake, even with calorie cycling. I am doing a 1600 day today.

Kelly - woo-hoo for not getting that burger! I LOVE Wendy's chili, now of course I like it even better with cheese, but the regular chili is still good too. You'll have to keep us posted on how you did with your food day at work. Thank GOD we dont do that stuff at my job. Its a "everyone fends for themself". Its also good that I work 2 miles away from home because that eliminates my eating out a lot. Although, once my husband moves out I am going to be so broke, I wont have a choice - lol. Oh well...sigh.

Ok, so you know how I went off on my tangent about my chicken chow mein, well...I had painted my bathroom this past weekend and needed to clean up my mess, so I dove in with major cleaners and an hour later finished up. The problem is, with the chemicals, the bending and reaching I finished up and started feeling and queezy and that led to, well...you can only guess. Not a good mix. I think after eating Chinese you should avoid any physical activity - haha. I told myself I wouldnt hop on the scale everyday and I swear, I am not going to make a habit of it BUT I just had to see if I was down a few pounds from yesterday and yup, Im at 198. Im still not happy but Ill take it. Oh and I am not sure if I can blame it on my TOM. I THOUGHT it was here but like Ive said in the past, my TOM is far from normal and it looks like it was a false alarm. Grrr....so I guess I just screwed up. ALSO, I overslept this week and missed the gym AGAIN. That means I have only gone twice this week. I am not going tomorrow because (I know this sounds stupid), I need my hair to look nice and if I go to the gym, its not horrible, but I need it really nice. AND Im not doing my DVD workout tomorrow because Im going out with friends. So, I have truely been slacking in the exercise area this week. I did get to walk today because it actually stopped raining for like an hour (thank god) - so thats the only positive my non-stop griping. Sorry - Ill be good now and stop.

Ill check in later.

Hi Ladies,

Tiff - Wow, sorry your in the midst of Buyers ****, and I do hope it is over soon. I want to thank you for having a Golden Corral roll for me! Yummmy! Last time I was there I didn't get any, but my husband had enough for the both of us...LOL. I do love their fish, salad bar, and their chicken. I usually make a huge salad and on top put the fish or chicken....gosh this is making me hungry!

Brown Eyed - You really sound on track, motivated with tunnel vision in the right direction! You go girl! Have you found eliminating 'processed foods' that you don't want or crave any of it, or even have a desire to overeat or pig out anymore? I read somewhere that because of the chemicals, sodium, sugars and all in that food, it actually causes to you 'overeat' and munch alot. I just know since I have eliminated it, I no longer overeat, and only desire to eat when I am truly hungry. The Jillians book came today and I will let you all know if it's worth purchasing.

Neesy - Good for you staying in your calorie range even with the delicious Whopper. I love that your husband is supportive and you all are active together. That is so wonderful!

Take a Deep Breath - Well KUDO'S TO YOUR FRIEND!!! I love it, DO NOT, DO NOT and I bet when you had the chili because you were being good, it tasted even better! I know today you were glad you listened! LOL.....

Lindy - Congrates on the 198 and yes, I would take it too! You know if your Tom is messed up, you could be retaining water, even not having the visit from Tom. Just something to consider. I am glad today is better for you, and don't beat yourself up about yesterday, we all deserve a "I don't give a s---" day.........LOL

Ok, I am doing good and weighed two pounds less today! Woo Hoo! I am stoked. I did do my walk today, so maybe tomorrow it will be more???? Hmmmm...one could hope. Either way, I am happy, as I am now only 1.8 away from my June 1st goal, so I maybe can blow right passed it! Well, hope today is great for everyone. I got my book and will let you know if it is helpful with great info or not.

Hey Ladies

Lindy - YES, SUNSHINE PLEASE! I am like getting depressed, as I feel like I am in Hurricane season already, being locked in my home and surrounded by water........LOL... I am serious! My pond out back is now a lake, next we will be building an ARK. LOL...... I do hope it clears up by this weekend, because my daughter is finally coming home from A School on a 10 leave and wants to spend some of it at the beach house in New Smyrna. So, I am praying for some nice weather for her..........and me...

Lindy - Sounds like you are focused and doing great - you will be breaking the 90's in no time! I haven't tried those DVD's although I did peak at a couple of them on YouTube. Do you do them from there? I bought her workout DVD's (Jillians) a couple of years back, but have never done them. I no lame, right? It's not the 30 Day Shred though. It is a set of 4 or 5 working different areas. Anyway, good job Lindy!

My day was good! I will check in tomorrow - ITS FRIDAY!!!

Whoa, I missed yesterday, busy busy and just now got the chance to check in before bed. Its nice to see lots of posts from everyone. Except, I wonder what happened to maddiesmom and basics? So I did Level 2 of the 30ds tonight, OH MY GOD, I thought I was gonna die, sweat was running down my face by the end of it. It was killer but I am glad I moved on. 10 days(maybe more, we'll see) at level 2 now, I need to watch level 3 before I get into it. Ok, gonna catch up with everyone now, then I am gonna watch a movie and go to sleep. I have yard sales to hit tomorrow, then a garden to rake and lots of veggie to plant.

Kity-No drinking, no drinking no drinking, LOL. Sounds like kick ball is kicking your butt, great workout. I love it when clothes start fitting better. Keep it up and you will start losing, and great job keeping the 4 lbs off.

Lindy-if you are jealous of my yard work then come on up here and help me out, I have a large yard and lots to do in it.

Staccie-How did yoga go? I do it on the wiifit(well not so much now). You sound happier now that you are on the wagon.

Neesy-cutting out the pop is hard, but you can do it. Like you said Slowly but surely!! Sounds like you got some needed rest and cleaning is definitely a workout, I have some house work that needs done, maybe this weekend.

Lindy-sounds to me that the 6 lbs is from water, I dont think you could have gained 6, truly. 2 lbs of it is already gone, you'll be back down to 194 in a few days then down to the 180s, woo hoo. Chinese, my fave, but mixing with bending and chemicals, ewww. 15 cups of water, i would be floating.

Mygrits-yay down 2 lbs, are we at the same weight now, did you get rid of your ticker??

Tiff-Hope everything works out with the house, we are renting from my husbands uncle, so its pretty much like owning, but it something breaks we dont have to pay for it. Golden Corral, yum, I just saw a commercial for one yesterday and told the hubs we needed to eat at one on the way to AL, like I really need it.

Kelly-I dont know how you do it, I would be so stressed out if I were in your situation, you are strong for being committed to this and all the responsibilities you have. Just keep it up and your 5 lbs will turn to 10. Good luck with your weigh in Sunday. Good choice getting the chili and its good you have that friend to tell you DONT DO IT.

So I got my workout in, didnt get to walk tonight, I worked until 10, too dark by then. I'll get it all in tomorrow. Have a good night everyone.

HAPPY FRIDAY GIRLS!!!

Wow, this week just flew by for me and now I have a 3 day weekend! Yay!!!

Anyway, quick update on yesterday, I did really well the rest of the day and finished the night off at 1600 calories until...duh...duh...duh....John came out with a bag of goldfish crackers....mmmmm. For the first 20 minutes I just ignored the bag but as he sat there and picked at them, I got hungrier and hungrier....and yupper, 9 p.m. at night I indulged in about 1 cup of them, which is like 400 calories! Ugh. Oh well, the good news is, I hopped on the scale again (I cant help it! Until that flippin number goes back to 194 I am going to go nuts!), anyway - its at 196, another 2 pds. Whew...I am definately believing its water weight, I only have 2 more pounds to go. Today I am going out to dinner at Ale House and then ice cream after. I am going to try to do good with eating low calorie foods all day, so that I dont do TOO bad tonight. Im not going to watch what I eat because I really never eat out anymore, so this is an indulgence, but Ill get back on track tomorrow, just in time for Sunday, which were having a BBQ. OH - speaking of which, I want to tell you girls about a low cal desert for memorial day, it taste yummy and in comparison to oh a apple pie or chocolate cake, its kinda healthy, first, you need a trifle (large glass bowl) for this:

Take fat-free or low fat whip cream and 1 cup of fat free raspberry yogurt, mix the two together, add lemon zest (half) and squeeze a little lemon juice into the mix.

Then take - raspberries, blueberries and strawberries (cut the strawberries small), mix them together. To make this truely healthy, avoid adding an sugar, but to add just a smidge of sweetness, you can add just a LITTLE sugar and let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Next, take angel food cake and break it into little pieces (just rip it off like bread). Coat the bottom of the triffle with the angel food cake, then add a layer of the cool whip mix, then a layer of the fruit mix. Do this about 3 times or until all the ingredients are gone.

Its somewhat healthy and super delicious.
