urockmom: Don't get discouraged! You are doing awesome with all that skiing!! I have that happen to me throughout this journey. It is very frustrating! It will go down!! I promise you!!! Just keep going!! I think our bodies just need to readjust. If I can do it...I know you can!! Let's rock this vday challenge together!! Even if the stupid scale doesn't show our progress, let's look at other things. Clothes fitting better, more energy, pride in sticking with it, and so on...

Just wanted to report I'm now only 6.2# from my V-day goal. I kinda had to force myself onto the elliptical last night, but at least I finally DID IT! These are the little victories that raise my confidence to keep going and believe this is forever.

Hubby had a great week, he lost 3lbs. I only lost a lb but hopefully will have a better week this week. I behaved all week so I'm not sure why I didn't lose more but I know that scale doesn't always recognize my efforts. :D My dh felt that way the week before.
I had 2 busy days on Fri and Sat so I need to do a couple of extra long workouts this week.

Ms Perception~ you are doing great, I'm sure you'll hit your goal

Hattie~ I'm sorry the scale is stuck. I have no doubt that one day soon it will start moving again. I hope the same is true for me. My body seems to like 153 (my mind thinks my body is just stupid for liking that number so much) :D

Keeper~ great job on the loss!

Christie~ the scale is moving the right way :hug: great job!

urock~ you know as frustrating as it is, this happens to all of us. The good news is normally a week later the pounds just fall off. But in the mean time, I hate your scale too. Piece of junk it is!

fullsteam~ sorry you are having a hard time right now. You are taking on 2 important and huge challenges. You are doing exactly what you should be and can't let the scale get the best of you. I know I told you before (and will tell you again I'm sure) but I'm so proud of you! :hug:

I can't believe how fast time is going by, only a bit over a month left untill the end of the challenge! I had a small loss this week and I'm shooting for 2 pounds this week!

Hi everyone!! I have officially met my Valentines day Goal..I am down 10.5 lbs :carrot: So lets see what else I can do.

Christian-One lb gone, is one less you have to lose!! Congrats :D

Keeper - 2.6 lbs is awesome!! Keep up the great work

Ms Perception-The hardest part for me is eating out, at home I have all this will power, but I go out and its like I have never seen food before and I go crazy!! You made very wise choices

Hattie-Over 40 lbs in 5 mths..I hope I can do that!! Plateaus are very discouraging, but youre doing great.

Lene-how nice to have someone to lose weight with. My hubby doesnt even want ME to lose weigh! Congrats to you both!!

I gotta go to work, If I missed you I will catch you next time!!

Hi ladies. I'm back on track with my routine. I missed a few days of exercise last week but I know this will be a better week. I updated my ticker this morning and it says my v'day goal is 33% complete! It is freezing outside this morning so I think I'll do a dvd. I also saw a new one that I want to get by Denise Austin. I'll probaby go get it today.

Goodmorning ladies :) Hope everyone had a great weekend. we met my parents at a restaurant for lunch Sat., had a very nice time and the haddock was fresh! We had another snowstorm here Sat. night and it sure is nice to see that sun shining today!

urockmom, hang in there! It's got to be a fluctuation of sorts like the girls said. It will go back down, the scale does stupid things once in awhile! ah ha! Your doing great, keep at it. Hope you had a great weekend and a good time skiing :)

Jaya, that emoticon is too funny! :lol: Hope you had a good weekend as well and got your workout in. You workout after you clean? I admire your energy. In the past, what would happen to me is after cleaning I would sometimes be too tired to do my workout after so I always do it before now and then the cleaning later! I did some "overeating" last night. I didn't eat unhealthy foods, just ate when I wasn't hungry because I was frustrated. I know, I know...so dumb!!! I did exercise right afterwards, but the idea is to NOT turn to food. I didn't even think I was much of an "emotional eater", but I guess I need to watch out for that. Anyway, back on track and ready to enjoy a healthy day.

Hey all!
Hope it's not too late to joing your challange! I am looking to drop 10 pounds...and hopefully 7 of those by Feb 14th. Truth be told I would be happy with 5 pounds down right now. All my cute clothes are feeling tight on me and I feel the padding...at 5 feet, 10 extra pounds is quite a bit....ugh.

Though I'm pretty distraught that I allowed it to get this far....I'm not going to mope....back on the exercise wagon.

Hoping to get to know all of you!

I reached my weight loss goal on Saturday...50lbs gone! :) I have a mini goal going on to finish up my V-day challenge though. A few more pounds to go!

OK WOW! FSA...I guess I wasn't paying any attention to the dates and just saw January...ha ha.

OK so.....Hi! So...I have been a member for a couple of years and just now actually getting back into it. I always found this sight to be an awesome place for motivation and support and would like to start participating again. It's kind of on of those things, if you work the program, it will work for you. A little about myself...I'm 24 with a beautiful 2 1/2 year old and I live a CRAZY scheduled life. But like many, in the last year I have gained back around 20 lbs. So here I am, ready to make a change. I just started going back to the gym and having a VERY hard time eating healthy. But thats ok....I can do this, we can do this. I put my goal for Valentine's Day to be 8 lbs...

Greeting beautiful people!
I sit here freshly showered with my cup of morning tea. My knee has been making this awful clicking noise lately so I'm trying to take it easy on the cardio intensity and doing cardio every other day. Today I'm goign to do some yoga instead and see how tha works.

My eating has been totally on target. I feel like I'm getting back in that zone. I just switch over to better fuel....sprouted beans, salads, soups. Winter is the best time for me because I could live on soup. Plus, is that crazy can can sale is going on I and have stocked up on some beans already and will be heading back to get some more. Since I pretty much cut out bread, rice, pasta and anything bready...beans are my only source of carbs. I eat fennel to counter the *cough* tooting caused by that magical fruit in case anyone's curious how my house doesn't spontaneously combust from all that natural gas.
