I ran a 1 1/2 miles Saturday, did a walk/run Sunday and did an hour walk today. I haven't done much outdoors in the last 2 months so it was great for my mind and body to be out. I would love to have this milder weather stay around.

Hi Lene :) WTG on those walks and runs! :carrot::carrot: keep up the awesome work. I bet it felt awesomeeeeee being outdoors. I have to check the sidewalks on my walking route, it is supposed to be mild here too the next few days and I may just get out there this week. We are on the upswing now lene, : ).

HI to everyone else too. I had a good day here, busy being active and working out ....I have been sort of interval training amongst them all. THat is it for the day though, I am going to go tend to myself now and maybe get out for a little ride with DH after. Keep up the good work girls.....chat soon.

Good Afternoon Family,

I would like to say that I think all of your are the sweetest ever! Thank you for all your encouragements. I am back on track with workouts again.. last week was my gym bag was kidnapped by security ...... :rofl: ... LOL ...well today I got it back and marched down to the gym with my co-worker...and I will tell you never not exercise for like a week because it will really kick your butt.:kickbutt: (ouch that hurt) So I was on the treadmill, and I punch in 40 minutes. I started to walk...and I was like oh my gosh. I said out loud oh 15 minute workout is looking really good....and my co-worker said no we have 40 minutes...so I watched TV ...and we had like 10 minutes left I was pumped and she was pooped so I started saying come on we only have 10 more minutes to go......woohoo. I missed working out. I will continue this week because even though I have lost 10 pounds ( I am still happy) I want to try for like 2 more pounds this week...heheh..plus it has been awhile since I have weighed myself. Oh, and I received a compliment today. One of my co-workers said, I can tell you are starting to lose weight. It made my day today... :) ..... :carrot:

I went to school last night and took my writing pretest and got 56 %, and then I had to write an essay on why are there less readers today than there were 15 to 20 years ago. I will be turning that in on Wednesday.

I think all of you are doing GREAT!!!!! What is our next challenge going to be called? I am excited...hehehe...well I hope everyone is having a wonderful day....and again...thank you all for your kindness. It really helps. :hug:

Hope everyone is well. I can't beleive this Sat. that the month of Feb. is half over.....yayyyyyy, lol. We will be turning the clocks ahead before you know it.

Jaya, wtg on exercising again and your loss thus far, keep up the good work.

It's the tail end of TOM for me now and I am hoping to see a nice sudden drop sometime...that would be nice. I managed to work hard throughout the whole cycle this week (except for sunday) and am just taking it day by day. OHhhhhhh, we had our first cookout of the season last night, it was in the 50's! I know it is going to get cold again around these parts but hey, it wont last very long at this point.

Regarding our next challenge, someone mentioned awhile back a St. Patricks day challenge and then maybe an Easter one after that. That sounds good to me it would break things up into approx. 1 month intervals and maybe help give us more of a push. Christy and girls, what do you think? Either way you decide to do it or however you girls prefer is fine with me as I can always break up my goals along the way. The main thing is that we stick together and keep on truckin. Let's not forget the exercise thread too, it has been a tremendous help to me.........with all this being said I just want to say thanks to you all for the support and encouragement and helping me to keep going through the frustrations, etc. :hug:

I need to get a move on, I would like to go see my parents so not quite sure about exercising all morning/day long today........my feet hurt from the wii a bit and I do not beleive it is from the exercise......it is from doing the step and all barefoot! Hattie and CHristian, had you noticed this? THe directions say not to wear shoes on it ......hm. okay ladies, I hope you all have a lovely afternoon, chat soon.

Hello Family :grouphug:

I am so proud of all of you ..... we all stuck together.. :hug: Today I worked out for 45 minutes and I was watching biggest loser family. I saw some really good exercising ideas. It was very inspiring. One of the family member had to sleep with a breathing machine, and he was on high blood pressure medicine... and the doctors were really scared for him to go on this show. He convinced them that he could do. I walking on the treadmill wanting to cry after watching this .....anyhow when they got home to finish their challenge....they really struggled the first week, and then they kicked butt. It was really cool to watch because you see where they were, and you see their progress. It is an awsome transformation.

I am scared to step on the scale this Saturday..... :fr: ....lol ... I am however looking forward to the next challenge :)

yeah, I am still up. My so called "furbaby" as lene use to refer to him, is not doing so well............did everything we could, just hanging in there. I dont know what I am going to tell my daddy, we will see. .... we might get the little darling on the upswing again..you never know!

I have a stomach bug but am grateful that at least it made that stupid scale say something of a loss.

I would vote for a St. Patrick's day goal. I like to keep to short challenges. What could we call it? "Luck o' the losers?" "Make people GREEN with envy?" "Looking for the pot o' Non-Fat?"

Chrisitan, the starter of these threads, where are you? Maybe Luckymom will come back if we have a St. Pat's challenge.

Ok...everyone let's think of something by tomorrow. If Christian doesn't come...I will start one.

Scale finally moved 1.5 after a three week stall so :dancer:. I am finding this a real challenge now that the scale is moving soooo slowly but I am going to try to get down 2# next week before we go on vacation to myself some breathing (and eating!) room.

I have scheduled a full day next week to go through all of my summer clothes to figure out which ones still fit. I think it is going to be a great NSV kinda day!!! I may even have a few things that haven't fit in a looonnnnggg time that I will be able to wear. Like new-old clothes. :D

Hattie~ I don't know where everyone has gotten to. Thanks for agreeing to start the new thread if Christie doesn't appear.

FSA~So sorry about the baby. I hope that the end is peaceful and comfortable. :hug:

Jaya~ Don't be afraid of the scale. Don't be afraid of the scale. I know that I haven't lost as much as I wanted on this challenge. (Nothing new there!!!) But, I am sure that you have lost and that is the point. Plus, you have really been doing well on your exercise so you are absolutely healthier than when you started.

How about everyone try to log in tomorrow morning for the final results and then we'll put away the :val3: and break out the :luck2you:

Hi ladies, good morning..........so glad you guys are here.

Hattie and urockmom, thanks girls. IT was a tough night last night but yes the end was peaceful. Gulp! Anyways, I am glad Dh is here with me. Dh took a half day from work yesterday. Ohhh onto more merrier subjects, guess whattttttttt girls? I lost 3 lbs. this week! I finally got the bugger scale to start moving :) I am so happy to see that and to see the hard work start paying off so now I just need to keep it up and keep doing what I am doing.

Congratulations to both of you on the loss. Urockmom, that's great that the scale moved for you as well! : ) HOw exciting getting ready for vaca and going through the clothes.....oh do keep us posted :). Hattie, the names all sound cool to me, I also do best with mini goals and I am loving the wii and it's 2 week goal breakdown so along the way in our challenges I will have that as well as smaller mini goals.

Happy Valentines Day ladies :val1: I hope that you all have a beautiful day. IT is nice and sunny here, not sure what we are going to do yet but I ate rather heavy yesterday and am planning to have a light food day regardless of what we end up doing. I look forward to seeing you all in the other thread.........ohhhh Hattie, let's do the exercise thread too! :) Speaking of which, yesterday I did not work out (the late night workout going towards that day) and today I am going to try and do some as it would be good for me to let off some steam........we shall see.

H girls , I will be joining you over in the new thread. I am so tired, I was going to go work out beleive it or not to let off some steam......I miss my kitty cat but you know what? I really should get to bed and get some rest, I plan to go over my folks tomorrow and break the news...I did not want to tell them fri. night or on V day and want to do it in person soooooooo I will go to bed girls and wake up to a new day. Ohhhhhhhhh, I had a lovely day actually......DH and I went walking all day, it was the coolest thing and so cathartic! We walked to town, stopped in and hung out for about an hour and then walked back. I am going to go post the days exercise and call it a complete week and well..........yeah,,,,,,,,,get some rest I guess.

Jaya, congratulationsssssssss on the 10 lbs. lost! That is wonderful :) :carrot:

Hattie, thanks for starting the threads for us.......I am a bit worried about Christian, hope she is ok. I look forward to seeing you all over there in our new thread!
