jello and buns :welcome3: A big hello to you all. Just popping in for a quick hi and to wish you all a great and successful new day. Last night went well for me, off to a new day. It is cooooooooold here ladies, it was only 15 degrees when I woke up and the wind is howling out there. Okay...I am definitely interested in this challenge. I just recently joined a biggest loser contest at my local womens gym which lasts six weeks. While I am commited to that I am looking forward to this challenge as well. Here are my hopes and dreams:
My goal is to be back at my lowest of 173 Lbs before I fell off the wagon. Janurary 12th(start of the local biggest loser contest) weigh in at 189.2 Lbs January 13th--workout--200 leg presses, 20 minutes on the treadmill, and 20 minutes on the eliptical trainer. January 14th--workout--100 leg presses, 20 minutes on the eliptical trainer circuit training at the gym(curves type gym) First weigh in for my local contest is tomorrow....I will keep everyone posted. Wish me luck! |

I hit 50lbs down but I can move the dial anymore to the right to lose any more and it's been about 3 days now. Haha! Too funny!

Thanks Christian...I am soooooooo ready for all of this and am so happy that I found this site to help me stay motivated! Good luck everyone! One thing that keeps popping into my head is: Remember, diet and exercise cannot fail you the only thing that can keep you from obtaining your goal is you and your commitment. I think that I tell myself this everyday!

Only positive thoughts and you will get far! :welcome2:Jellofer2: You will love it here! LOL about losing the weight! It is sort of like being ON a diet...it seems so temporary. This is for life! A healthy life! A good luck :gift: given to you. Neast: I agree with Christian...don't worry! As long as it is going down and you are eating enough, you are good to go. It will slow down. I got rid of 45lbs and now it is at a crawl. As long as it keeps going down, eventually I will get there. Half of the battle is to keep going. We can do it!! urockmom: I read the book also...I have like 6 pages left and I don't want it to end. OMG! What a bunch of scummy characters! Most of them are gone now though. I know you will lose!!! Hey Ladies!!! I did the 2 mile WATP tape tonight, luckily I have alot of them and switch them around. I hope everyone is exercising, I know its a pain, but 15 mins is better than nothing :carrot:
I have a question for you all......... What was the moment you realized you had to lose weight???????? My answer.... I was meeting my sister for lunch, and my exboyfriend comes out as I am walking in, he was still very hot and I was very NOT. At the same time, after my sis and I were seated, she brought me some pictures of me and my family and I looked like a cow. 95 lbs over weight. I had never really realized it. I knew I was big, but didnt realize HOW big Have a great day!! |

The moment I realized I had to lose weight was when a customer(at the store i used to work at) asked me when I was due. I learned a valuable lesson that day....never, ever ask a women when she is due especially when you are not sure if she is expecting. Of course I wasnt especting and this hurt my feelings a great deal but motivated me to get my butt into gear.

Good morning Ladies...kind of (well it's 3:30am) TY! TY! TY for all of the welcomes. congrats to everyone working hard and "getting rid" of the weight! - I love that saying, no one ever likes finding it again.
I did ok the last couple of days, not amazing but much better then I have been. My only real problems are eating at work and eating when I get home. (I work at one of the largest sports bar's around, so the food at work is not so good) So I picked up some musclemilk light and have been trying to incorporate that into my routine at work and trying to stay away from picking at chips and fries. I feel like Im starting off a little slow this time. But thats ok, better to start slow then to not start at all. My other half has started back to the gym with me and together we are making better eating habits, so that has been helping me like crazy! Loving the biggest loser this season....very motivating! I would say something to all of you but Im exhausted,so Im hittin the sheets.... Everyone stay strong and in the zone. Good luck. |
