Morning 3 miles done. Ok, so today it was more mid-day than morning, but it's done!

3 miles on the bike done too.

4 mile walk/jog in this morning.

I'm thinking ahead for when the cold weather gets here and my regular walk won't be possible. Can you guys tell me about the 30 Day Shred, WATPs, and any other dvds? Which ones are good? What should I look for when selecting? I have a stationary bike, which I'll use, but I want to be able to mix it up with another activity.

Also, I'm thinking of investing in either an eliptical machine or a treadmill. Opinions?

Oct. 11 3 miles

I'm doing the shred. The run down is there are 3 levels. Start with level one and the idea is every 10 workouts you move up one. The levels consist of 3 min. of strength, 2 min. of cardi. then 1 min. abs. You do that 3 times. It is an awesome workout.

WTG on all the movement, Ladies. I say "Ladies", as it appears that Scott is not around lately. If you're lurking Scott, my apologies!

Thanks for the 30DS info, crazy. I grabbed it off of ebay last night. I also picked up an exercise ball, so instead of riding my bike, I did some ab work. Man, am I uncoordinated!

ETA: I got my 4 mile walk in this morning . . . barely. My usual walk is on a pedestrian/bike pathway that runs along side a bridge that crosses a pretty large river. There's usually some people/bikes on it, but never too many. Well, this morning, as I entered the pathway going in one direction, hundreds of runners (who were apparently participating in a race I knew nothing about) came running at me in the opposite direction. I wasn't sure what the proper runner's etiquette was, so I just kept to the extreme right, walked off the path when necessary, and kept on with my walk. Some day maybe I'll join them!

My usual 20 minute mile was a 19 minute mile today!

Also, instead of only 2 minutes on the elliptical, I was able to do 4!

Still small, but improving... 7/50

Ingrid
