From everything that I have read, apples are a good part of any weight loss plan. I think their peak season is October, so that are super fresh (and cheap) now. I know that when I eat an apple mid morning, I usually am less hungry at lunchtime.
I think this challenge can help us to make more of an effort to eat an apple as a snack, and my hope is that we can share recipies and tips for getting more apples into our busy days.

I enjoy apples in the fall... it just seems right to eat apples in the fall. I really am enjoying these "honey crisp" apples. Very yummy!.
