I finally got back on the bike - 3 more miles, in addition to the first day of the 30DS. I'm going to try my best to get some miles in every day this week. I want to finish the month off right!
Thanks for all your support! you are an inspiration.... look at the mileage you racked up! You are the BOMB!!
gatorgirl - congratulations!! Doesn't it feel great to accomplish your goal?
urockmom - 10 miles!!! Holy cow, that's great! Do you ride a stationary bike or a regular? I've been riding a stationary bike since it's getting a bit too cold (and dark) to walk. It's kind of boring, but I've been managing it by scheduling it each day at 5 pm. I get dinner started, then hop on while everything is cooking. I'll either put on the news or a show I've dvr'd from the previous evening, or sometimes I'll read a magazine. That's my other trick - I'll buy a magazine, but only let myself read it on the bike as a reward.
Lisa, hope you're feeling better soon. I don't think there's anything worse than the flu - everything hurts!
Hey Dumplin! Am I doing this again next month? You betcha! (I may be watching too much political news while riding my bike! )
YEAH 50 Miles in October Halloween Challenge Chicks!!!
We made it to Halloween!!!
to everyone that participated whether you made it to 50 or not! The good news is that we all won because we were and otherwise moving!!!
I hope everyone has a happy day and to all to stay away from that Halloween Candy!
Lisa- Hope you are feeling better!
Rita-I usually mix it up whether it is a stationary or regular. I have a recumbent at home that I used yesterday. It doesn't hurt my back or my tush like the upright stationary. And, yes, try to stay away from the political news. If you start sounding like you stepped out Fargo and you're not from the Dakotas-just turn off the TV.
Oct. 31: 2 mile
So, I finished up at 101 miles! (I had kind of hoped from the beginning that I'd be able to double it and I did! I also lost about 7 pounds in the process. )
