Amdak, I'm doing something similar, and it's a slow but successful process. If I make a goal and getting to it isn't something I can see myself doing forever, I drop it and find a more sustainable way. I'm glad to see it's been working so well for you!

ShyShy - you'll get back on track! It sounds like you didn't eat much earlier in the day yesterday, so I'm sure you are right about your cals being okay.

Don't worry, be happy. I know, corny, but try to have a good day anyway!!
No garbage in for me today, Trying to picture everything I eat sitting directly on my butt, as that seems to be where it goes!!!

lumifan4ever: CONGRATS ON THE 143!!!! WOOHOO!!! I know you've been waiting for that #.

I'm gonna try real hard today to do good. Tha last couple of days I've been doing good with my total calorie intake but I don't think I'm doing it in a healthy way. I don't eat hardly anything during the day, not that I try not to eat anything I just don't feel like eating but then dinner comes around and that's when I feel super hungery and I eaty something really high cal.

I know I shouldn't be neating myself up but I've really done a crumby job of this weight loss goal so far. I've been on my "diet" since Aug 10 and I've only lost 6 pounds, then I gained of them back so now I'm trying to lose the last pound of those 2. Its sad I should have lost at least 15 lbs by now.

i tell you the truth shyshy....my weightloss has been a steady 5 pounds per month every since i first began my weightloss journey. It doesn't seem to matter if i excersize or not...i only lose 5 pounds per month. occassionally, i've only lost 4 pounds a month. I could never imagine that i'd be able to lose 15 pounds in a month and a half. I don't know how people manage to lose 2 pounds a week. I just can't seem to do it. But don't get down on yourself. YOu can pull this out before christmas gets here. Even if you don't make your goal exactly, you'll be closer than you were before you started!!!

Thanks Lumifan- I weigh less now then I did this time last year so that makes me happy. I've decided not to dwell on what I havn't lost and how I should have done better because there isn't anything I can do about that. What I can do though is start trying my hardest to kick the weight loss back in gear and lose as much as I can from here on.

CONGRATS Crystal!!! 2 lbs is so awesome. Thats also great that you are diciplined enough to go to the gym every single day like that. Your definatly on the right track to be meeting your christmas goal.

Oops! I haven't been keeping up with this thread very well!! Looks like you guys are doing well, though. I've had the insatiable urge to munch all the time lately, but I'm keeping up with my running, of course. I plan to really try to get back on track with the eating. I've done fine today, so that's good! When I weighed myself after my run today, I was 167. I'm hoping to at least see 166 on the scale Tuesday morning, but all the junk I ate yesterday might catch up with me!

Hi Ladies,

Here I return with my "tail between my legs" as I have been very naughty. Ryan (husband) decided to eat junk and pulled me down with him. I resisted the pizza chant but unfortunately I could resist no more. So I had a false start......I had a couple of those last time too. I will not give up so here I start again. I will have to tell DH if he wants to eat junk he will have to do it somewhere else and to please not bring it home with him.

Okay I hope everyone has a successful day today, I'm off to get my water!!

MyOwnSaboteur- I have the EXACT same problem with my honey, he'll tell me stuff like "oh honey you've been doing so good here lately, you deserve a day off" when he pushes like that I just don't have the strength to say no. I also need to have a talk with him about that.

Well today I have my meals planned out so that I don't mess up and I've been trying to convince myself to get off of the couch and computer to go do my tae-bo, ugh it always takes so much effort to get me to work out.
Hope all you ladies are having great fat burning days so far.

Hi Ladies:

Congrats to all who are reaching milestones!

Like some, I too had a rough weekend. First one in a long time. I think what bothered me more than what I ate was why I ate it. I wasn't hungry, I just wanted to eat. I felt myself sliding back into that person I used to be. I hated that feeling. Don't want to go there again.

Doing better today. Weekends are always the hardest for me. Any suggestions?
