  • Time for all of us to refocus on our Christmas goals, come on ladies, we can do this!! Just over 11 weeks til Christmas, let's be where we want by then, everybody closer to our goals!

  • Hey girls, hope everyone is staying on track. I had an awesome weekend of exercising. I ran thurs, fri, and today, I've found that running is a stress reliever and if I got a lot stuff on my mind I can run and it gives me time to myself to think. Someone said running is addictive and I'm starting to see it. On another positive note, my DD took some pictures of me today, and I am looking good, long way from goal, but my face looks a slimmer and I think my upper body looks slimmer as well. Yesterday I tried taking pics of myself and I thought I hadn't lost anything in my face which was disappointing. From now on I think I let her take the pictures. I went shopping today, bought two new pairs of jeans both are slim fit and a little snug through the thighs-hopefully not for long. I also got this cute little denim skirt which looks awesome. The best part for me is watching the #'s on the clothes I'm wearing get smaller and smaller . Okay enough of my rambling...

    11 weeks left eeks! That's really not that far away. Come on girls lets get pumped up...We want to be looking hot by Christmas

  • Ladies I was sooo bad over the weekend and today hasn't been going well either. We had some family come stay with us from out of state and when my family gets together we eat. I aslo havn't been exercising since there's been people here. I gained a pound but I think I can get that back off in a couple days.

    Congrats Dream on the running, I really need to start doing that. It sounds like your doing really well. Keep up the great work

    Well I guess I'll go clean the house and burn some calories since I definatly won't be doing my tae-bo in front of anyone. Everyone have a great day.
  • Nobody comin around today.
    Ladies I have done myself in this time. I have been binge eating for the past 3 days. I don't know whats gotten into me except for the fact that my family is still here. They all wanna eat pizza, fried chicken, ice cream etc. Why can't I just say no to these foods?
    The family will be gone tomorrow so I will get myself back on track. I'm also going to adjust my Christmas goal so that I'm dissapointed when this challenge is over. GEEZ I'm so P.O'd at myself.
  • ShyShy, don't worry, you'll get right back on track! It's so hard when family is around and you get off your regular routine.

    I've been doing well -- in fact, I weighed in at 163 today, so I'm on my way! I had a 4-pound loss since last Tuesday and I passed my original goal, so I've had a great week. I overate a bit Saturday and I did today as well, but I've kept up with my running, as always. I really really want to see those 150s!
  • shyshy...it really is hard when things at home get turned upside down. As soon as the family is gone, you'll find it much easier to get back on track.

    I am doing okay with getting back on track. I ate a huge lunch yesterday. Our boss took us out to a steak place for doing so well on our audit. I ordered chicken breast with grilled shrimp on top and these potatoes that had ranch dressing, moterey and chedder cheese on them. Oh they were sooo good. I only ate half my chicken. Must have been two peices of chicken. But i ate most of my potatoes. Then i had dessert. A wonderful brownie with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. The good news is....breakfast for only 90 calories and i skipped dinner since i had such a huge lunch AND i jogged for 10 minutes that morning and for 25 minutes that evening. Okay...not the whole time was jogging...but alot of it was. So, i think it all evened out to be an okay day. (oh...I did manage to get all 8 glasses of water in yesterday...yay me!!)

    Today's weed.

    W- 8 glasses
    E- 1200-1300 healthy calories
    E- go jogging/walking for another 30 minutes tonight
    D- keep going baby...only 11 weeks till Christmas!!!
  • YAY FAMILY IS GONE, lol I love em' to death but they were messing me up.
    Well I though the 3 or 4 days of stuffing myself with things like hot links, fried chicken, cookies etc. were going to do alot more damage then they did, went up a pound but I really think I can get that back off pretty quickly. Its aggrivating I keep bouncing back and forth between 152 and 153. I plan on kicking some butt from now till Christmas time. I did adjust my goal so I thuink I can do and maybe if I work extra hard I may be able to surpass it by a couple pounds, who knows.
    Oh goodness ladies, halloweeen is almost here, I don't know what I'm gonna do with all that chocolate in front of my face.

    Liasmarie- You lost 4 lbs in one week? You go girl!!!

    lumifan4ever- Sounds like that day probably did even out to be pretty good. It sounds like ur doing really well and being consistant with your exercising. Have any tips for how you do that?

  • Hello girls. Is it too late for me to join this challenge? I have been trying to lose weight since May, and so far I have lost 34 pounds. I seem to have stalled, so I think I need some motivation. I have 2 kids, and since the last one (nearly 2 years ago), my weight has been a constant struggle. I really think now is the time to tackle my weight issue. My christmas goal is to be 155 pounds. That's 15 pounds......omg, that would be awesome for me! I'm looking forward to reading your posts for encouragement, and maybe some pointers. Thanks, and chat soon.

    Staffinchick- Welcome! Its never too late to join in. 15 lbs sounds very doable for your goal. We all will look forward to reading your future posts.
  • I don't know if i have any tips to give out yet on the excersizing thing. So far, it's only been two days that i've gone home and jogged/walked. I am praying that I keep myself determined to go home and do it again today. It would be embarressing to admit that i just want to see the expression on my ex-boyfriend's face when i am down ANOTHER size!!! He was telling me how hot i am the other day...so i want to show him how HOT i can be!! Silly...yes. But if it motivates me...then so be it!! lol
  • lumifan4ever, I love it! I am 6 years and a kid into a marriage, but I love to see former BFs give me a double take. I was engaged when I met my husband and broke off the engagement to date my husband. The fiance ended up marrying a friend of mine 2 years ago. I see him on a regular basis and it feels sooooo ggod to see him checking me out. And just think, when we see each other again at Christmas.....I will be 15 pounds HOTTER!
  • YES BABY!!! I did it again yesterday!! I went home and jogged/walked for 30 minutes. I was exhausted when i got in...but it felt so good to have accomplished it again...3 days in a row. Today will be day number 4!!! I am excited to go home and excersize. This is just what my mind and body needed. A change of pace.

    And about the ex-boyfriend. Well....we still see each other and talk everyday. We may, or may not, end up getting back together. I don't know. just taking it day by day. But yes. I love the idea of him seeing a hotter person. I want to feel sexy; and be sexy. For me...then for someone else. I am just so excited!!!!

    Okay....my weed for today!!

  • OMG I know exactly what you guys mean. I have been with my fiance for about 5 years now and, I still see my first love on occasion, the last time I saw him he was with his new gf and this may sound big headed but, I was way hotter then her and he was soooo checking me out, ahhh I was just soaking it all up. I do feel even better though on those days when I look into the mirror and see what I think is an attractive woman, those days don't come too often. Yesterday I was actually going through some old pictures and there was a few of me when I weighed about 125, I put them on my fidge for a little motivation.
    Well it's early and I havn't eaten or exercised yet so there's nothing for me to report, maybe I'll be back later.
