Good afternoon ladiesssss

I am down another lb. I'm real happy with that, it's a good sign as TOM is due any day. As long as I am good all week, which I intend too, I expect a pretty good loss next week. Let's keep it going girls, this is our final week and Easter is right around the corner. Hope you all have a terrific day and a successful first day of our new week.

Jellybeanzzzzz, HOw are you doing girl? missing ya!

1 orange

1 low fat cracker
Dinner is going to be some white fish and a mound of veggies. Im also going to the gym tonight.

Im feeling really positive today, its completley weird, but once i get one good day under my belt i find it easier not to cheat.

We are going to start a new thread in April right?! I NEED you guys!! I think FullsteamAhead said something about it... sure hope we keep this going! I need a constant boot in the butt to keep going!!

goodmorning ladies

Pigginpodgey, that's great! Sounds like a very good day indeed! I am having fish for dinner tonight too and I am making it a point to keep to my plan and have it 3x. I just love it, it really helps me to lose weight and after having fish for dinner, the next day I alwaysssss feel super and light! That sure is a nice feeling. I have mine with veggies too, or a salad. This week I am foregoing my beef and omelette night and plan on doing just fish and chicken which usually works great for me. I bought a nice seedless watermelon to snack on after dinner if I get hungry or inbetween meals at any time. Yessssss, we are definitely starting an April thread I'll post it up real soon, a few days before the end of the month. We need you too : ), it's so nice we all have each other during this journey.

Amy, good for you! starting fresh and keep on truckin. Congrats on getting those tae bo dvd's, I know you have been waiting for them. Do let us know how you like them and enjoy your workouts, your going to have some major cals burned : )

Butterfly, how did your youth group go sunday night?

Madi, that week I didn't do my exercise because I was so busy I was a bit upset about it too as I was afraid of getting off plan. After going right back to it, I felt a sense of releif and so much better. I am sure when you get to the gym and or your tae-bo you will feel worlds better so hang in there and keep on truckin

It's a beautiiful day here and hubby is coming home a bit early, going for a long walk. I feel good, didn't get the pre-TOM depression like last month, thank god! I beleive the outdoor walks have h elped tremendously with that. I wish you all a super day. Keep up the good work everyone.

Pigginpodgey, you mentioned how after just one good day how good you feel and how positive you feel again. I couldn't agree more! After having a sidetrack or off plan, it just takes that getting right back in the saddle again and after just one good day, it's such a reinforcer and it really helps drowning out any negative outlook. Today is a new day for us all, let's make it a good one

Hi Guys

I am also looking forward to the April thread. I have not done as well as some of you have this month, I have only lost 3 pounds, but I am focused and motivated so April here we come

FSA I also am trying to incorporate more fish into my diet and I came across a great article in the April 2007 issue of Women's Health magazine. Not only does this article give all kinds of amazing facts about fish and how to cook it etc., it also outlines over 20 popular fish and seafood choices and describes their nutrient value as well as the mercury/PCB (cancer causing industrial chemicals) content. This makes it much easier to know how much of each kind of fish can be enjoyed and how often, but also which fish to avoid. In this weight loss journey we don't want to trade one problem with another.

I actually think it is one of the best presented articles I have read in a long time.

Got to go to work - Have a great day ladies

Good afternoon everyone!

Everything has gone very well diet wise this week, eating has been on track, have been exercising every night this week so far, my goal is to start exercising 4 times a week, with friday, saturday and sunday off. So i need one more session after tonight and im done!

Im really keen to keep up the exercise, i feel good for it, and i can feel muscles and things generally tightening up.

Im totally in the fish thing, love it! Im really lucky as here there is lots of organic fish sold in the supermarkets, as its caught locally, so it doesnt need much flavouring or anything. Also none of those scary chemicals. My other thing at the moment is trying to avoid red meat if i can, so im really into the fish at the moment!!

Ive also read that it is one of the anti ageing foods, meant to be really good for your skin. One of my favourite " skin" meals is white fish with a salad made out of an chopped avacado and tomatoes. Avocado and tomatoes are meant to be good for your skin too! A face lift in a meal im hoping!!! LOL!!

hello ladies! These pst few days have been pretty good. Tuesday I went to work for a little bit to do some paper work and got home around 12:30 p.m.. So right when I got home I started on the front lawn. I had these bush/tree things in the "flower garden" in the front of my house. I have hated them since we moved in, and since I'm not pregnant this year I ripped those suckers out! 8 of them! Then I mowed, raked, and pulled the stone separators out to either buy new ones or redesign my garden area. I was outside working hard for about 3-4 hours!

Yesterday I went to the gym and had a great work out, I was absolutely drenched. I loved it. When we got home, Dax and I went to the park, walked the trail, and fed the ducks!

Today is cleaning day, blah. O well, someone has to do it!

I wish I could have read the Women's Day article, but my son ate it. I have been trying to eat salmon, tilapia, and mahi mahi for dinner when I work.

Good luck ladies!

Hi there all : )

Hi Lytricia I wasn't sure if you were here or had left for vaca. Congrats on the 3lbs. I didn't have as much of a loss as planned (4 lbs) but I too am happy, eager, and excited about our new month! I am mentally preparing myself for it, assessing how my past month went and where I am going to improvise or improve for the up and coming month. I plan on cranking the month of April , basically being much more strict and allowing myself less free reign as well as keeping up with my water consumption which I feel helped me tremendously last month. I am doing well with my exercise, though now that the weather is milder I am going to increase my walking.

Lytricia, ty for the info regarding the article on fish : ), I'll have to check that out. A while back I had seen something about mercury content in fish, seafood, etc. I think it was on the news and prior to seeing this, I had no idea about the mercury levels. THey gave a list but it was rather quick and short and I don't recall all the details except that I think haddock was on the lower scale, yet I remember that swordfish was high in mercury content. (my hubby likes swordfish cooked on the grill in summer).

The only seafood I like and eat is haddock. I like flounder too but eat haddock. It's strange really as my whole family loves seafood and I never took to it. OH, I do like and eat my baked stuffed clams though! lol I dig them myself and it was on e of my favorite things to do when the tide is right. I go sea clamming on the sand bar, dh shucks them and we put them in the grinder and I make my moms recipe or baked stuffed clams. I gather the large clean sea clam shells, wash them , and use them for dishes. They make a great appetizer when having company, etc. BOy, I can't wait to get out there......I desperately miss the ocean! It is coming up real soon though, all the more reason I need to buckle down now.

pigginpodgey, bravooooooooo You are doing awesome! congrats on your food plan going very well and the exercise you have done! : ) The exercise helps me to feel much better too and it really works in more ways than one! THough I didn't take measurements, I see a real visible difference in my body, particularly my legs, thighs, butt, hips! Not just that, but I do everything with more ease now and am capable of doing much more than before......lifting groceries, cleaning, you name it! Keep up the great work

Last month, I was pretty diligent with my plan (the fish, etc.) and had good results. Past few weeks I had slacked in the fish dept, felt like I n eeded a break from it and so I varied my shedule a bit but I am happy that I then missed it and am enjoying it again! I just get such good results for it.

How is everyone else doing? HOpe you all have a great day. Let's get ready for our new month together. I went and posted our new thread for April. Ok, I need to get my tail moving, catch you all soon : )

pigginpodgey, hi there congrats on another great day and on your newwwwww hairstyle, sounds beautiful! : ) You deserve every bit of that so called "indulgence". I think taking care of ourselves and doing things that make us feel good is super. It's our time now! : ) I have been thinking to go toooooo, I am just not sure what I want to do with my hair yet. I want to keep it long but would like to get it styled, I'm thinking of layers or something, we'll see. The blonde highlights sound soooooo pretty : ) and just in time for that nice upcoming warm weather. I can't wait to start tanning. Ok hon, I have to run. Keep up the awesome work and have a great weekend.

I think you should definitly make it a priority to go get your hair down, it sounds silly, but it really does give you a boost just to feel pampered!!

So i know i usually weigh mondays, but as today is the last day of March, I wanted to weigh in today too!! I will weigh in Monday too, just to make sure, but im excited and want to share!! Hehe!! 2lbs gone!!

Hiiiiiiiiiiii I just got back from grocery shopping and snuck in a sec to see what's going on, I saw your post! I am sooooo happy for you Congratulationsssss That's an added incentive to be good over the weekend too, right on! : )

As for the "mussed up" hair, my husband thinks it's sexy when it's all wild looking, lol........I ah sort of like the wild look too! Keep on truckin and do come on over to the april thread soon, we have a lot of new team members. IT's neat isn't it? how one good day is such a pos. reinforcer, it often propels another good day........it's like a chain reaction. THrow exercise in and it just reinforces that chain reaction even more so!!!! yesssss, loving it! let's keep the chain links going! : )

HOw's the garden bush puller outer doing? Lolllllllll Are you out there pulling more of "those suckers out'? haha, well.......known you long enough now to tease you just a bit right? I just thought it was so cute and funny....I can relate, that's why. There was this certain bush I couldn't stand and I just looked at it and it bugged me for I don't know how long or how many years........finally replanted the bugger elsewhere.

pigginpodgey...congrats girl. O and I totally know how getting your hair done can absolutely change everything about the way you feel. It completely lifts your spirits and almost makes your feel like a different person, even only if it's just a trim.

FSA...ha ha ha, yeah you can tease me. Nope no more pulling out. I got all of them Tuesday. But when I replant new stuff, I'm sure that I will still find parts of roots or something. Plus the weather has not corroborated at all. It has been raining for the last 3 days, the last two of witch had a bunch of tornadoes. You gotta love oklahoma! Today it rained so much that I had to stop at an auto part store and get new windshield wipers and everything just to be able to see to get home. I seriously thought that all of Oklahoma City was going to flood. But hey the grass got a bunch of water so I am a little bit happy about that.

Today I did not eat well at all. But hey, what are you going to do now? I am making a commitment for next month and I am going to do AMAZING! I promise. I can do this. It's all about making these habits a lifestyle and priority. OK now everyone, shake off last month because Sunday is the 1st!
