Hi again : )
pigginpodgey, Madi said it best! You have already lost 30 and that is awesome. Yes you didn't gain, you maintained! Sounds like your having a great start to the week, keep it up!
Madiiiiiii, It was beautiful here today too! 60! I'm glad you got a day off on such a nice day and bet it was quite warm there as I heard the news the other day. HOw was your walk? GOd, I loved it! Such a nice break from the treadmill. I cleaned quite a bit today, doing a lot of the spring cleaning and all.....I quite about a half hour before hubby came home and even told him on the phone I am bushed, don't know about the walk. It was so beautiful out though and I really wanted to go so I got ready and off we went. I hobbled at first, lol, I have a problem with my ankle occassionally and I was like oh no , not again! DH said, look, we can stop, dont push yourself. I saidnoooooooo, I want to walk, mind over matter! I will work the kink out. So anyways, we kept going and at about the 20 minute mark (where we usually turn around) I finally started walking normal and said let's go more please. Oh it was cool, we took a new road and route toward the water and I had worked the kink out. We did 53 minutes! Ok i am rambling again, but what I want to say is, I was grouchy and irritated and didn't feel much energy prior to the walk and the walk so totally turned me around mentally! Can't you tell, hahaha motor fingers here! He said the same thing happened to him too. I think it's just the whole thing, being outdoors again, getting the fresh air, and of course those endorphins kicking in!
In any event, I am glad we went today becausee it may rain tomorrow afternoon. I hope you had a super day off : )
Jellybeanzzzzzzz, hi there How are you? It's good you managed to eat pretty good this weekend despite everything going on. How did your meeting with your boss go? Jellybeanz, try not to be too hard on yourself for thinking to go back to work ok? Oh I know there are stereotypes out there, etc. but what is most important (or at least how I feel ) is that you do what you feel is most important to you and your kids. You have your reasons , and very valid ones at that for wanting to go back ( for your own emotional well being, for your childrens future, etc.). You are obviously a very caring and warm person! That's the best gift in the world you can give them! whether you go back to work when they are 10 or infants! Ok I will shut up now because I know this may be a philosophical gateway, so to speak, but you know what I mean Keep on trucking girl! I admire you, I really do! Being a new mom and all, working out, working on your health regime and thinking about work and the kids future and all. whew! Your one hot jellybean
As for me, I was looking at my weight loss shedule thus far after I posted last and saw a difference past 3 weeks, I started getting scared I may be floundering a bit and so I decided to break out the bazooka's for this week! lol did I spell that right? ANyways, I will weigh-in this SUnday! I am not opting for tuesday (the party is sunday). I want to hold myself accountable! So i have 4 more days after today to crank (meaining full steam ahead with food plan), wish me luck!
Keep it going girls! We must fight like the dickens! Don't get sad, get mad!!!!!!! It works! keep up the awesome work. I feel very lucky to have you all here : ) thanks you guys, you rock!

Hi all,
well i had a huge post but lost it so i had to start all over!!! I lost 1# for my weigh in this morning. I didnt do so well yesterday though. I had homemade veggie soup for lunch, which was good. But at dinner i shared wings, poutine and something called "The Kitchen Sink" with my husband and daughter last night at a restaurant. It was brownies, whipped cream, ice cream, caramel and chocolate fudge...soooo good. It's that time of the month, and since this is the first one in a year, my hormones are raging and i needed the chocolate, or i would be a widow this morning
ML, JP and FSA...thank you ladies for your continued support this past week. It's been very difficult for me, but I've come to peace with the fact that if the job offer is good enough I will be going back early for the betterment of my entire family.
FSA Im glad that you are getting back on track. Just remember, you need to stay focused, summer isnt that far away.. And you just know you want to be on the beaches in a g-string bikini right??!!
ML Congrats on the 1# loss!!! As far as Im concerned, we need to be just as proud of the 1#s as we are of the 10#'s!! It's beautiful here today too, 15 degreese (celcius)
JP- you should never be afraid to weigh in the day after you've pigged out. It takes about 2 days for that weight to show up. I learned that at a weight watchers seminar i used to go to. We all get off track, it's ok, we just need to remember to get back on!! Good luck with your work out.
As for me. I am off to the gym tonight for an hour on the treadmill and spinner. have a great day ladies

Crap crap crap....yes that is the three words that completely describe my day. My son decided last night that he wanted to wake up at 1 o'clock and not go back get back in his bed. So for the next 3 hours he tossed and turned and kept me awake because he felt that it was time to play. I finally got him back into bed and got to sleep at 4 a.m. Then my alarm went off at 7 but I snoozed it and didn't go off again. So I didn't wake up until 7:45. Which sucked because I was supposed to be in El Reno (25 mins away) for jury duty by 9 o'clock...After a hour and a half "orientation," I find out that I am going to be all call for jury duty for the next 3 months. That i actually have to call in to a recored message every day to see if my juror # has been called to court. By the time I leave, I am dying to go to the bathroom (#2) So I wait until I get home, to find out not only am I constipated but I just started my damn period. Just in time for Kye to call me and tell me that we are having dinner with his parents. I mean REALLY. Can this day get any worse? O...and it does. But that is all that I am sharing. I hope my "lovely" day has put a smile on your face, because thank god it is over. I am sorry I needed to vent a little frustration before I ate my weight in chocolate.
jellybeanz...I totally know what you mean!
FSA...I am happy for you with the weather. I went for a short walk yesterday but it started to get a little too cool for dax, so we went in early. I didn't get to work out today. But tomorrow I am going in to work in the morning to decorate for St. Patrick's Day and I am going to the gym right after.
Ladies it is time to put this day to rest. Good night and good luck

OK now...much better day. I got to go to the gym today. I worked up a good sweat, but when it's "that time of the month" the last thing that you really want to do i work out. Other then that...I hope everyone is doing well.
amy...I 'm glad that you feel better. You are going to do tae bo? I LOVE those dvd's. I have the fat blaster and the cardio ones. Talk about a work out. They will totally kick your butt. At first they will be EXTREMELY hard...but really stick with them. You will feel so much better in a couple of days of doing it. They are my savior when I can't make it to the gym. The only advice that I give is that you don't have to go as fast as they do and don't get upset if you can't do the whole dvd. I consider myself to be is pretty good shape and there was no way I was able to finish at first. Really just pace yourself and get used to all the jumping around and stuff.

But i am about to bring the kids to the mall to do some activities there for march break, so that's still exercise. I am 230 today, but not couting it until monday when i weigh in (due to the junk overload from a couple of nights ago haha).

Good morning ladies : )
I am glad that everyone is doing well. Jellybeanz, thanks for the encouragement As for that string bikini, don't know about that! hahaha but yesssssss, summer is coming and I want to be on that beach! thanks for the support. Madi, glad you had a better day yesterday. Bravo to you and jellybeanz still doing your workouts despite TOM! great work ladies. Amy, glad your feeling better : ) pigginpodgey, great! keep it up! I think your all doing great, keep up the good work ladies.
I have been pretty busy the past few days. Between Tues.-THurs., I put in 8 hrs. of cleaning and much of that was heavy work. Tuesday I did a lot of lifting, moving, etc and still went for my walk. I pulled a muscle in my hamstring (from moving heavy stuff on stairs I think) and boy did I feel it Wed. and yesterday, though today I woke up ache free! I havn't done my regularly sheduled exercise in 2 days! was too beat after all the cleaning, etc. (plus a bit sore) and though I am burning lots of cals I don't want to get out of the routine of my exercise...so I will be getting right back to it a.s.a.p.
Today, I have to finish up the cleaning (getting there) and do a big grocery shopping later. We are due for a snowstorm here! ugh! It was 70 on wednesday, I even managed a 1/2 hr. of sitting in the sun...boy was that nice! THe food plan is going well, I had omelette for dinner last night and am cooking fish tonight for dinner. Well, I best be getting a move on. Happy to read your posts and that your all doing well I'll check back in soon. Have a super day everyone and let's keep on truckin!

BLAH...Ladies I HATE TOM! This week has just been so bad for me. I don't have any motivation and I cheated and weighted myself today. 174. Still the same. I know I know I probably shouldn't have weighed, but I just couldn't stop myself. I haven't deserved a loss this week. I have eaten like poo and my workouts have been few and far between and not to par. But I guess I still have the rest of today, Saturday, and Sunday to turn it around. I hate that TOM always put me in a depressing mood. I just need to learn to work through it. The only person that can change me is me. I control myself, I am better than this.
FSA...be careful darlin! I bet your house is glistening clean, I'm jealous! I hope the party goes well!
OK guys. Today starts the busy time of my week, so I probably won't check back until Monday. I hope everyones weigh ins are great and have an awesome weekend! Happy St. Patrick's Day! As for me, I'm going to pray about what's weighing on my shoulders and just let God handle it.

Hi everyone
It's late here, thought I would check in before hitting the hay. Madi, thanks for the kind word regarding the cleaning, sure do appreciate it! God, I did a few more hours today and I just couldn't finish! I have about an hour or hour and a half more to do and I am done! Thank god! We are in the midst of a nor'easter here, a real storm! Never made it to the grocery store, it will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon! There are accidents left and right, the roads are so bad!
Madi, hang in there! When I had Tom a few weeks ago, omg, it was my hardest week ever! thank god i had you and others to keep me going, I really had a tough time! I not only got very sick, as usual, but my hormones were all over the place! I got depressed and pouty and teary! ohhhhhh! oh yes, and cravings too! listen, you said you weighed yourself and still the same, that's a darn good sign!!!!!!! are you kidding? I usually put on several pounds of fluid around that time, and you know what? right after TOM, the fluids release, so hang in there! I know it's especially hard right now but just stick to your guns, there is usually a good drop after. I once read somewhere that right after TOM the metabolism is extra high and to take advantage of exercising etc. Needless to say, I had to really work hard to break even after as I had a bad week but the fact that your still the same weight is really goooooooooooood, so hang in there girl! : ) You will be feeling better soon you too jellybeanz, hang in there gals.
oh wow, I am tired, I better get to bed. taking a nice hot bath first, yes indeed!
Amy, let us know when you get them, the dvd's! sounds super! : )
ok, Im heading for a hot bath and then some shut-eye.......I will weigh in sunday as I said, holding myself accountable! no way am I weighing in on monday after the party! lol I have to be careful though, anyways ladies, still have a few days (most of us ) so lets keep it going! by the way, happy friday! wow , it's the weekend again! let's be good! ciao for now

Hey all,
Haven't checked in in a long time! My weigh in is tomorrow and I am hope hope hoping for a loss... I've been pretty good and have made it to the gym 4 times this week so I've got my fingers crossed!
Sorry to hear about the TOM badness... mine is this coming week So I am going to try to go work out anyway *crossed fingers* I read somewhere that if you do ab exercises it can actually help ease cramps... Hoping that's true! Also hoping that TOM won't affect my weigh in tomorrow.
Hope you all are having a wonderful St. Patrick's Day... it is cool and drizzly here

Ta-daaaa! Weigh in result : down 2 pounds!! I'm happy with that I rewarded myself with some low-fat, whole grain blueberry pancakes as a treat this morning lol... why does that make it not seem like a treat?
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!

Well it looks like I met my March goal 2 weeks early. Yea me! I lost 2.8 lbs this week, which I am happy with since I started TOM on Thursday. I celebrated by buying myself a new pair of jeans. They are a size 20 and a little tight right now, but I have no doubt that they will fit great within a couple of weeks. I started out in a size 26, so I am thrilled beyond belief. Hope everyone is doing well.
