Oi oi oi oi oi! I think I got a pretty comprehensive assessment of my food intake into fitday for yesterday. Ooo la la! I would have had to dig ditches to have a deficit!
I think the most noteworthy thing about yesterday was that I was watching. I actually ate less than I used to at potlucks. How frightening is that?!

Hey, if you can't cut loose once in a while at a wedding or graduation or whatever, then it's a pretty sad life, I say. I trust you had a grand time, celebrating with your friends!

Hehe hobbling around in heels... last time I had to wear heels (that was at a wedding, too!), I ended up having to ditch them. I had snuck a pair of flats in the car, just in case. Yes, I'm a weenie, I admit it! Good for you for keeping them on!

Congrats on the NSVs! That had to have you floating all day!

Well..I totally bomed out this weekend. Last night I had 2 pieces of Jets thick crust pizza ( i did take off the topping though..and most of the cheese), and a small pice of cheesecake. Today we had KFC for lunch ( I ate the skin too..bad bad bad), and strawberry shortcake and we're having burgers for dinner. I guess I will really have to eat good this week to make up for it. I made a promise to myself to do exercise every day this week, plus some weights because I cut loose today and yesterday.

ON another note...my dh hid the scale from me because he said I was obsessing too much. [grr] He said I can weigh myself again after my scrapbook retreat weekend .(March 31st). I'm a little upset, but I suppose he's right.

Well..off to dinner at my SIL's! Have a great night.

speaking of scrapbooking I just finished my first 2 pages! Whew it was more time consumming then I thought it would be......

Today I had special k for breakfast and burger with fries for lunch. Which is actually lunch/dinner for us on Sundays. So my calories still were in range (1200-1400) I didn't excersize today since it's my "rest" day. I bought a new yoga dvd and a resistance band, I can't wait to try it tomorrow

Yay, Donna! I'm sure you'll be smiling all day! Nice deficit and a phenomenal scale result!

Glad to hear you had a good day, too, Susan! Your deficit and mine were just about the same, and mine was also boosted by exercise. The weather was nice, so the IPod and I did a couple of miles around my sub-division. Love my music!

Hey, everybody! Spring comes today! Celebrate!!!

I had a poor weekend, and it shows in my lack of posts over the weekend...deficit of 185 on Friday, ate 700!! calories too many on Saturday, and deficit of 153 on Sunday. Bleh. I didn't exercise at all and of course for a 2nd week in a row didn't meet my "new" exercise goal. I am trying again this week but it is looking like my March exercise goal will not be met until April!

what do you all eat during your pms week when the stomach seems to be a bottomless pit? I feel like I could just eat and eat and eat right now. Dh is gone for the night tonight so it's just me and the kids and I had to get online so that I would stay out of the kitchen until my chicken breast is done.

I need something to get me through this pms week....

Well, Angie ... I eat. I'm sorry to have to admit. Most times I can hardly resist. That's one of the reasons I don't advocate a 'cheat day'. There are enough occasions when I overdo it. I don't need to plan any in.
My best advice is to make sure you have only good stuff around. Eat it if you must.
It's still a numbers game. If you are good 23 days and screw up the other 5 ... the odds are still on your side, right?

Susan you are so right! Angie, I can't control myself on "bad" days either though they aren't directly connected to my hormones, they seem to do their own thing. Deficit of 848 today. I wasn't very hungry, I think it was from my big eating day on Saturday so hopefully it will all even out. Anyways, a little down in spirits lately (or energy anyways) so I'm just trying to hang on and last a little longer until I can get my mind all together again.

((runs in and quickly hides Susan's peanut butter jar))

Good morning, all!

Deficit for me yesterday was 1,106.

Angie, in my old way of life, I generally used to eat the few days before, not because I was hormonal or emotional (I don't get that way) but because I just threw in the towel. My reasoning: my body is determined to gain weight regardless of what I do, so I may as well go on and enjoy myself. So I did!

I'm now in a different frame of mind, so I don't think that'll happen. I've only been through 1 cycle so far on this new plan and, foodwise, it wasn't difficult at all. My problem was sodium (I ate on plan but wasn't aware of the sodium in some soup I had). I should be *tested* again in the next week or so. We'll see what happens .

Hope you're feeling a bit more chipper now, Miles! Up and at 'em, kiddo!

Here's hoping we all have a Temptation-free Tuesday!

Lena, That's funny! I was thinking about hiding it way up in a top cupboard or something. Ya know? Too much trouble to go get it.
