AJsMa, a cruise while pregnant is a wonderful idea. We took our first ever cruise when I was about 6 (?) months along and it was wonderful!!! We knew it would be a long time before we'd be able to vacation again. It was perfect. All "3" of us thoroughly enjoyed it!

Have you ever cruised before? It's a fabulous vacation -- as action-packed or lazy as you want it to be. I just know you'll love it!

Talking Good Morning!

Thanks for the welcome! Today was weigh in day for me and I was down 2 more lbs for a total of 10!!!Yeah..I was stuck for a week or so ...so happy

Deficit for yesterday was 1065! A 2 mile walk and lots of running around. It is still so hard for me to get to 10000 steps. I haven't hit it yet. I have had my pedo for a week now....still trying.

AJsma: Wow a cruise how fun! Dh and I are going on a trip to Las Vegas in 3 weeks and I really want to be super good till then so my capris fit...LOL.

Angielynne: That's what I want too! Jeans that fit! You are an inspiration! Congrats!

Lena: That was a great deficit! I would want the deficit too, not the Snack!

Well I just jumped in here and started talking! Hope thats okay! I appreciate the support!..Thanks...Blyn

OK quick question for ya'll!! Yesterday I weighed in at 8am and was 182.6 really good for me. Last night I had a bowl of homemade chili (used turkey bnurger instead of beef) and this morning when I weighed in, I was 186.9!!!!! OH MY GOSH! Please tell me that's just sodium/water weight! How do I get rid of it??? How many days will it take. i've never had this happen before this drastically...4lbs!

I had a 1400 cal deficit yesterday and no loss. Angie, I don't know. I think that besides the science, there is a bit of magic we don't quite yet understand. I am sooo ready for a little drop.

Ditto, Susan and Angie. I've had 1,000+ deficits for 4 days straight (yesterday = 1,301) and yet the scale has not budged. Grrrrrr. Sometimes, it feels as if my body is deliberately working against me.

I just have to keep telling myself, "Stay true and it will eventually work itself out". Still it can be frustrating when you and your body don't seem to be on the same team.

Hey, BlynC, seems like you and your body have decided to work together again! Congrats! I hear you about the 10K steps. I struggle to get it, too. If I don't have time for treadmill, I usually end up short.

Blyn, will you be joining us on the Coast-to-Coast walk? Go check out the stickie in Exercise. A group of us are digitally walking from Boston to Seattle via Route I-90. At 3,000+ miles, it's the longest continuous highway in the US. There are at least 10 of us signed up already! We'd love to have you join up!

That goes for anyone here! The more, the merrier!

TGIF everyone!

Morning All .

Deficit yesterday was 1136!

Angielynne step away from the scale! I realise you probably know this but weighing yourself every day is bad mojo!!!! I used to weigh every day and about drove myself crazy because my weight would fluctuate wildly. We don't know why our bodies can suddenly take on 4 lbs overnight but it does happen. It could be water retention, it could be the weight loss gremlins playing tricks on you! (I swear they rigged my scales for a month one time)

My hubbie goes away on business tomorrow for three weeks, so I'm going to be all on my lonesome. My challenge will be to continue eating right and not grazing.

Oooo Lynne, I think weighing daily or not is really individual. I started weighing daily in February and find it very reassuring. I think it really depends on an individual's temperment.

Some folks can't stomach the daily fluctuations and get all freaked out over them. They probably shouldn't weigh daily .

Others, like me, don't like not knowing what's going on. While I don't like seeing the upticks, it helps me feel like I'm in control and can nip any potential problems in the bud. Having to wait until the end of the week to find out I didn't lose (or even gained) was way too stressful. Daily weighing has been much better for me.

It just depends on the person.

I prefer daily too. Wghen I had analogue scales there was not much point but when I got my new digital scales weighing in 0.1 lb increments, nothing keeps me off them! I even track my evening weight to give me an idea of how much I'm likely to have lost the next morning.

Like Lena, I hate the spikes, but I'm getting an idea of how my weight fluctuates according to my cycle point and I KNOW they'll come down again.

I couldn't go back to weighing daily. I never felt I was getting an accurate representation of how much I weigh. Weighing once a week on the same day has helped me get a more accurate figure and helped reassure me also. I don't feel stress weighing once a week, I felt it more weighing once a day. Funny isn't it how what stressed each of us out was what stressed out the other? Does that make sense? . No more freaking out because I put on two lbs overnight, now if I gain I can look back at my weekly food/exercise (thank you Fitday!) and 9 times out of 10 pinpoint what might have caused it. It is all down the individual like you say Lena.

Either way, like I said earlier to you Angielynne, I wouldn't worry about the 4lb gain too much. It's impossible to put on 4lb of fat overnight.

Good Saturday Morning. I'm off to work again. For me it's going to be TGIMonday.
I had a deficit of over 700 cals yesterday. This has been a pretty good week.

Editted to say ... it may have been a very good week or my scale could be screwgy. I'll update tomorrow if it sticks.

Wow..Yesterday was busy..not actively though . I did have a deficit of 931 but it was tough...

Lena: I will definitely join you! I'll check it out! Thanks for the invite! Terrible steps yesterday like I wasn't even out of bed.

Angielynne: WOW...I really can see the difference "looking good!

I really cannot decide if I do better weighing or not weighing all the time. Right now I am trying to only weigh a couple of times a week. I can't stand not knowing ...but....I get mad when the scales don't move! It's a quandry!

Well today will be better! I hope! I do have a friends birthday to go to and the movies but I will really plan to do well! Note to self: NO MOVIE POPCORN!

Have a Great Day! See ya later...LIGHTER!...Blyn
