Northern -

Good morning!! I got my workout done and it was good. Last week I didn't like it this week I did. It could be that I did better with my poses!! It's a pretty intense workout. I never realized how hard you work doing yoga and I was sweating like a piglet. Tonight is going to be real work because it's legs and back. I tell you what though by the time I get done with this 90 days I'm gonna have some pretty legs.

Let's have fun today, we only have 3 days after today. I don't think I'm going to make my goal because my weight went up since I started. I have lost inches though. I will keep pushing because it won't end even after I get to my goal!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!
So excited!! 183.6 this morning on the scale!! I think what did it was I kept my calorie count at 1,223 yesterday but I worked out in the morning & evening. So I am going to try to do that everyday until Halloween! 30 min workout in the mornings and a 5 or 10 min jog in the evening. Doesn't sound like much but I am SO out of shape it really is a stress on my body.

So excited I might have a chance to get to goal if I kick my arse.. and if I don't get to it by Monday then hopefully the first week of November Then I can start focusing on my Turkey Day goal!!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hey everyone!!! Man, I will tell you this. I definitely learned my lesson about cheating a little bit over last weekend! It took me until now to get back to the weight I was before cheat day on Sunday!!! NO candy for me this weekend!!!! haha. I know I'm not going to be making my goal for this challenge, but considering my track record for the last few of them, I'm glad that I got back on here and will be finishing up a challenge the right way. I plan on doing much better the next challenge.

I woke up late today, so I have to run. A lot of things to do, including workout, before work. Have a good day everyone!!

Happy Birthday Northern!!!!! Have a good one!

Rachael, Jiggle and Farn: thanks for the b-day wishes! It was a good day (not great since I had to work, but about as good as a work day can get, lol.)

FunSize: grats on the loss!!

I had steak and shrimp for my b-day dinner, yum And the restaurant we went to gives you a slice of free cheesecake on your birthday! I did split it with DH, but come on, you can't turn down free cheesecake on your birthday, right?? I know I will be paying for this week when we start the new challenge....but I am very motivated to get back on track and get to my original Halloween goal by Turkey Day. If this extra 2 lbs I gained since last Thursday doesn't come off (and *gasp* if I don't gain more), I will have about 3.5 lbs to lose, which *should* be do-able if I can stay on track. I don't have any big social obligations between Halloween and then, so it should be easier, especially on weekends. I'm ready!!

Good morning all!
Northern: I'm definitely with you on trying to get to my original goal for this challenge! HA! It is always fun to enjoy a nice dinner and yummy cheesecake!
(I don't know if I would've shared )
Farn: It is always challenging to get back to where you were after cheating too much. I'm definitely working on that this challenge. At least you enjoyed the weekend and got back on track! It's when we don't get back on track that things get bad!
Funsize: Awesome work on the loss! Keep up the great work and motivation!!

Today I weighed in at 154.4! I finally broke 155 after about 3 or 4 weeks. I definitely ate like junk for most of October, so that's all good. But, it's nice to see me going down now that I'm refocused!
Today I will be doing w1D2 of c25k!! I'm pretty excited about that! I'm not sure if I'll make my mileage goal, but as long as I come within 5 miles of it, I'll be happy!
As for an NSV this week, I think just starting the c25k program is worthy! I'm very excited to be starting it!

137.95 down, 12.05 to go!

Hey ladies!

I had a mini-whoosh this last week: 2 lbs. Better than not losing anything. I started TOM yesterday, so maybe it would have been a bigger whoosh? Who knows?
Will I be making my challenge this time? Probably not--I've got 6 lbs to lose by Monday. Oops. Trying to make myself feel better about it because I lost 4lbs over my Labor Day challenge, so I'm just 2lbs (or maybe 1lb) behind. No biggie--if you're losing, you're winning!
My exercise challenge to work out another hour in my day has been met though. I will post my final stats on Monday.

Northern--Congrats on your muffin-less jeans! Fantastic!
Farn & SparkleBE--mini-whoosh accomplished!
Jigglefree--glad you settled on the Thanksgiving challenge. I want to "gobble lose the lbs".
TDIPrincess--Congrats on busting 155. My mini-whoosh took me out of the 180s. Always nice to see a good "round" number passed.

My week’s been good, but busy. It’s my TOM next week and I’ve been feeling so hungry all this week, but I managed to stay OP (but man, I do hate my TOM sometimes). And it definitely wasn’t a good week for having candy around – I’ve been having to count those little funsize treats into my calorie count every day… But I have gotten in an hour-long walk every day since I was looking after my parents’ puppy this week. He needs the exercise as much as I do

Scottie: Congrats on the whoosh! Here, losing is winning
Tdi: Congrats on breaking 155!
Northern: Happy belated birthday! Good job splitting the cheesecake – frankly, I don’t know if I would have been able to share it…
Farn: It can be hard to get back after cheating a little, but way to go for getting back into the challenge!
Fun: Congrats on the loss!
Jigle: I’m glad you’re liking the workout better this week. After all the hard work you’re putting in I’m sure you’ll be super toned

SO, at the end of our challenge (and the end of TOM), I'm hovering between 159 - 160!!

Honestly, I was hoping for more, but I did have quite a few unexpected days where I didn't have time to exercise.

For the record, I mainly stuck to 1700 calories a day - that seemed to be my average. I'm grateful to lose anything on that.... because I don't suffer much, if at all, with a 1700 limit. On average, I jogged 3 - 4 times a week and also did a fair amount of walking, some yoga here and there.

I want to congratulate everyone else too!! Now we get to move on to our next challenge! What are we going to call it? CC Thanksgiving or Christmas or New years challenge?

Good Morning!!! I'm happy to announce today is the day to report the results of this Challenge!!! Did you make your goal? How close are you to your goal?

I didn't make my goal of 10 pounds. I lost 8 which is alright with me. I'm closer to my goal than I was before the challenge started. Sometime tonight and not later than tomorrow morning I will set up the next Challenge to give everyone an opportunity to check in here.

I'm not gonna beat myself up about it really >> Im just gonna suck it up & Do better on the next challenge. The end of the year is coming & I plan on going out with a bang.. LoL.. Fresh challenges always give me hope anyway, so I'm looking forward to the next one.. Will it be a Thanksgiving challenge?? We'll see!

Congrats to everyone who met goal!

Hey all...

I didn't make my goal, but at least I got part way there! I kind of fell off the wagon this last week, so starting today (Mondays are always good for re-starts, right?) I'm working on my goals for the next challenge.

Congrats to everyone who did make goal! Way to go!!!

For those who didn't, remember this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon (cliche, I know, but true!) I will have been at this for two years as of this coming January, and I can tell you it's not always a smooth, steady road--there are bumps and detours at times. But that's ok! I think we learn just as much (if not more) on the little "side" roads as we do along the main highway If we want to keep this weight off when we reach our final goals, we HAVE to learn to deal with life's obstacles, distractions and setbacks. We do NOT live in a lab!

Ok, enough philosophy for now, lol. Hope to see everyone in the next challenge. Can't wait to get started!

Unna and Phat: Jiggle, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we talked about a Thanksgiving challenge for the next one?

Hey all! Congrats on finishing this challenge! Whether you made goal, came close, didn't make it, or stayed the same you still did a great job! It is always fun to be a part of!!

As for me:
I didn't make my weight goal, but I did lose about 3lbs, so at least I lost!
I ended up getting in 148.45 miles as of today, so didn't make the 150 but I came quite close and I'm very happy with that!
I did work my way up to circuit train twice a week, although I haven't done it for a few weeks since I decided to start the c25k program. But I did make that goal!
As for skirt sizes I can wear a few size 6's but mostly 8's. Jeans/pants I'm hovering in the area that I can wear an 8 but not out! So, my inches did go down a bit.

Overall, it wasn't the greatest losses ever for me, but I did enjoy the challenge and I made progress, so I can't complain with that! I'm happy with the results and now I have to decide what to plan for the next challenge! See ya chickies!!

Hi everyone, I hope the challenge went well for you all!

I'm weighing in at 110.6 lbs, 21.7% body fat, and 26" waist. I'm pretty happy. I wish I had a little more muscle mass, but I will keep lifting. The ball is next week and I'm excited!
