misspriss Would be amazing, I just can't imagine really enjoying working out and doing it so frequently! Even when I'm on a roll, I still do the bare minimum a lot of the time. I feel the same as well, about the sick of being chubby thing, I feel like...I'd like to be looked at as a "normal" young adult rather than people thinking of me as a chubby cute girl or whatever...I feel like I get treated differently sometimes because of it.

natamars Zumba was really good but really hard after the 2 week break! I hope you find some balance with the scales (sorry for the pun haha).

Northern I think I got to a point where I kind of enjoyed my running sometimes...but once you stop it is so hard to get back into anything. I'm trying to work back up to a point like that. Funny you mention hibernating bears, even though it's summer here right now, I was feeling down the other day and told my boyfriend I'd like to be a red panda cub and go into hibernation - I actually have no idea if red pandas hibernate, but they're cute. Hope you get your workout in!

~Going to exercise soon, have a new dvd I got as a joke present from my parents - kittycat Dolls workout dvd - so I'll give that a go and see what it's like.

Hey all,

Had a bad day today. My morning involved a major 1260 calorie binge, so there's no fixing my calories for the day now.

Just have to accept it, learn from it, and move on. Tomorrow is a new day.

Planning to weigh in the morning, will report back with results.

Hope you're all doing well!

P.S.
I am all set with this snow... is it Spring yet?!

Hi everyone! Well we got about 5 inches of snow 3 days ago and well some is melted but its still on the ground and tonight suppose to be down to 17. No water arobics again today because the heater was still broke. They was hoping to have it fix by this afternoon so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get in the pool. Going to work out in my home gym for 30 minutes. Went over calories a little but not bad 1277 and my limit is 1200. I weigh again today after resting my legs and I was 255 today. Not sure why im holding so much fluid unless im sitting at the computer too much being cooped up in the house the last 4 days. Ok got company now, so everyone stay safe and warm through these very cold days.

Hello all. I would like to join in on your challenge. I need a good kick in the tushy.

Megems~ why don't you try this skinny white chocolate mocha creamer from Krogers. It was also nice that the hostess at your party made such wonderful low cal food. She sounds like a doll!

Good Morning ladies,

Things have been crazy busy at work so I've been working late and not had alot of free time to post. I'll give a quick update and then get back on later to get to all of you so far I'm sticking to my calorie limit, i've been trying to get to the gym as often as I can. It's going to be a very slow process but i'm excited and happy because i'm making the necessary changes. I went grocery shopping and stocked up on healthy snacks for the office. I keep my drawer packed...lol everyone laughs but i don't care.

Relationship things are going great with the bf. Misspriss...not with the other guy I will discuss that later. so my bf and I now have been together for 4.5 months and I've never been happier. He joined the gym and is quitting smoking. So if anyone had dated or married a smoker and they tried to quit...please give me all the advice you have so I can help him. I want to be supportive and understanding.

I'm working through alot of insecurities one day at a time and I'm very happy with my life. I know it will be better. Alright, Have to get back to work, i will try and get on later to talk to you all. Have a great day!

<3 Jacky

Good morning:

So I did OK with my exercise yesterday (elliptical, weights and a little bit of snow shoveling), but still went over the top end of my calorie range by about 50 calories. I'm having issues with nighttime snacking lately. I know it could be worse, but I have a feeling it will be a slow week on the scale this week, especially with my less-than-stellar girls' weekend this past weekend.

I'm excited I get to stay home from work tomorrow. I have to do an online training for state testing (yippie skippy), but I asked my boss if I could just do it from home, since there's no way I can be in my office and expect not to be interrupted all day. We're supposed to get more snow, so I will be glad to take a day off from the crappy roads around here.

Well, I better get back to work. Have a good day, everyone!

amandalynn - I will have to try that. And, I don't know if she would be considered a doll... I kid. So glad you signed up!!! This place is great for ideas/support/recipes etc.

I played hooky from work yesterday, but did get in an hour of cardio, and actually ate about 1520 calories of my 1600. I wanted to stay below my 1600 goal a bit because even though I worked out, I was pretty lazy the rest of the day (curled up on my couch, pj's on, and read a book!), so didn't want to tempt fate!

I am doing pretty good with getting water in me, after coffee in the morning I drink nothing but water; however, I LOVE tea, and make this Raspberry Iced Tea (Instant), and discovered last night that 8 oz = 80 calories!!!! WOW! I could drink 2-3 - 12 oz glasses a night on these! I need to somehow work on my calories that I drink!!!

Tuesday: Calories, 1580. Exercise: Jillian 30DS video

DH had band practice last night(he's 50 - I call it his old man band) so I couldn't get to the gym, but I changed into my workout clothes as soon as I got home from work and did the video. Amazing how tough 20 minutes can be! I do hour-long classes at the gym all the time, but last night was a challenge.

It is STILL snowing here on Long Island - I think we've got about 15" already and it's still coming down. My office has a delayed opening, but luckily I can work from home. DH has agreed not to try to shovel and go to work, so his friend will come plow us out whenever he can get here. I'm going to use the time to make a big batch of oatmeal bake, and DH is going to make jambalaya. Hopefully by tonight I'll be able to get out to the gym.

megems, sounds like you had a great day yesterday! good thing you realized that on the tea, amazing how many calories we can drink without realizing it, and we don't adjust the calories on our food down.

Northern, I went over yesterday too! And I really didn't need the glass of wine, or the 60 calories worth of dark chocolate(although it was FABULOUS). I blame all this snow.

jdonato, my dh has quit smoking many times. when I first met him, he smoked like a chimney, and I HATE the smell, so he quit cold turkey. He's gone back deveral times over the years - never to the level he smoked before. Most recently he would have 4-5/day. The electronic cigarettes really helped him, and he's been smoke-free for several months now. Hoping it sticks! It wreaks havoc with insurance rates, too.

amandalynn, welcome! checking in every day has helped me tremendously. Today is my 12th day back on plan.

bigmama, hope it warms up there soon!

fpsj, hope today is going better for you. we've all had days like that - good for you jumping right back on the wagon.

rainbow, how was the dvd? sounds hilarious!

Hey everyone! I'm not sure if anybody will remember me because I've been gone for like half a year but I'M BACK!! I've had a pretty rough last few months where I unfortunately put my weightloss on the back burner.... I would love to jump back in and get back to my old successful ways!! I've missed all you guys!

Jumping in late for this challenge I just want to focus on hitting my 1500 calories a day, getting my water intake in, and exercising. I would like to lose 10 lbs.

Of course we remember you, Farn! Welcome back!

Nat: I TOTALLY blame the winter! I seriously think we humans (especially those of us who live up north) have some kind of deep-seeded biological instinct to consume extra calories and expend as little energy as possible during the long, dark winter. Animals do it! But really...it is MUCH easier to eat lighter and stay active when it's nice out. Is it spring yet??

Northern- I think your right about us folks up north, all you want to do is eat & lay around all winter! Can't wait til spring!

Farn- Welcome Back!!

My weight is staying down, but that's because I've been sick. Still riding the the exercise bike every morning for 30min. after breakfast to pump up the metabolism. I'll end up at 1100 cal. cause my stomach is still not feeling normal. We got 5 in. of snow here, it looks so pretty outside. But I can't wait til spring, I'm ready to get outside to exercise!

Hello Everyone.
Still hunkered down but showing signs of movement. The roads are icy so I'm staying in the hosue. We did go out yesterday to get some groceries and to just get out before I went bananas. My husband wanted junk food and it got the better of me. But I'm back on plan today and thank God I have my treadmill or what a mess I would be. However I did drink 128 ounces of water everyday this week so far. Anywho...I'm ready to go back to work now.

Fruitlady - Hope you are feeling better soon.
Northern - You are hilarious. You make me feel better though because being stuck in teh hosue with my husband and daughter, I've been snacking to keep from loosing my mind. I just got out of control yesterday. I haven't found the picture of you in the TSPs but I'll keep looking. I just know how fun they were.
Farn - Of course we remember you!! What's up girlie. WELCOME BACK. Hope things are getting better for you!
Natamars - 15" really. They wouldn't know what to do with 15" here. I think the News Anchors were sleeping at the station with the little snow we got. LOL!! If only they understood pretreating.
MissPriss - We got about 4" of snow on Sunday night Monday morning and about an inch of ice on top of that Monday afternoon. So it turned into a ice skating rink for cars. This morning the folks that ventured out must have been to excited to get out because there were accidents everywhere. Gotta watch out for that ice.

I just found out we are off again tomorrow. WTH???

Northern! I'm so glad to hear that you're already finished with the TSP's! I was soooo excited to get into them but even more excited to pass them along! I can't wait to see who gets them next! I'll have to go back and see the pics!

Jiggle: from the looks of the news, you got your day off! Atlanta looked like a winter wonderland!!

Farn: I've been MIA with you! I've not totally derailed but I must get back on the track and haven't quite caught the train agan yet! But here I am at the station!

I don't know why I can't wrap my head around it again! I've gained back 11 pounds-ugh! I'm still fitting in my clothes (10's and 12's) but they're snug.
