I just made a really good spicy veggie soup to have for lunch, along with a sandwich of some sort (I try and brown bag my food every day for work). I figured this way I get at least two servings of veggies and because I made it at home, I know exactly what's in it in terms of calories and stuff like sodium. It's spicy thanks to ground ginger and curry powder - makes my nose run when I eat it!

Lori's niece passed away and she wanted me to tell you guys she hasn't forgot about you all. She'll be back when everything settles at home.. Big hugs to her and her family

Started Weight watchers on Thursday ... My goal for this challenge will be 12 pounds..Also my 5 % goal Excited for my next weight in. Weight watchers changed how the points work so I'm starting all over. Bad cause I have to buy new everything but good cause it's new and different.

I would really really REALLY like to lose 15 pounds by valentines day. So that is going to be my goal.

I was vlogging my weight loss journey on YouTube but because of Christmas, my birthday and New Years, I haven't made a video lately. But I am planning on making one in the next couple of days.

I'm kinda mad at myself that I gave into most of the holiday temptations, but I feel re-energized and motivated again!!!!!!!

Well had that party last night, and all the food was yummy, low calorie & low fat. I ate a bit more of it then I would have liked, but still managed some self control. I mean there was fruit with fruit dip that was fat free and hardly any calories! How can I not want to eat it ~ SO YUMMY.

I ended up over my calories - but it was due to the alcohol I drank. I don't drink a lot, but like to have a few every so often, so I am not coming down on myself too hard.

I have a dinner party to go to tonight, and will have no idea how the food is prepared etc. - so I will just make good food choices & portion control!

I may take today as a exercise rest day! I exercised Monday - Saturday and I am SORE!

Lori - I am so sorry to hear about your niece. I hope you and your family are all together and drawing strength from each other.

I just prepped my food for the week - I have very long days from now to the end of March so I have to have everything ready on a Sunday or I'll end up doing take out and other junk. So not worth the money or the calories!

I know this sounds awful but I'm praying for lots of icy rain/snow because if there is just a little bit they shuts it down around. I just want a day off...yea I know I've been off for two days but I want another one. I cleaned and did laundry all day yesterday so it was kinda like a work day. Anywho, I have been eating good and feeling good. Today was my off day from working out. Still eating on plan though. So if Im off tomorrow I will be on the treadmill or 30 day shredding.

Lori - I'm praying for you and your family !!

This is going to be a great week so lets work like we are a smidgen away from goal.

FPSJ YUM. And go you on the great day of working out/eating well after your treat night!

natamars Thanks for the encouragement!

Lori My thoughts are with you and your family, I am so sorry.

jiggle I feel like you, only it's hot here so they can't shut things for that..actually even in winter the conditions are never extreme enough to prevent anything from opening hah.

~Down in weight slightly again, 148.8 pounds/67.5 kg. I am happyyyyyy. Hopefully it continues in a trend, I feel like I've been stuck just below 150 for ages! Had dinner last night at the house of some family friends, my mum's friend was cooking and made healthy food because her husband is diabetic and so is my dad and they're a pretty healthy family in general. Main problem was that it was so hard to estimate the calories! Indonesian chicken with soy sauce, chillis, onions...green beans with onions and spices and a tofu dish with red peppers, chillis, ginger and some honey. I think I did fairly well but my estimations took me to close to 1600 calories. It's ok though, I'm happy enough - I just wanted chocolate last night so bad! My boyfriend offered me some of his Christmas toblerone, but I was already over what I wanted my calories to be so I declined - hopefully I can have some tonight instead.
Today was the day I told myself I'd get the exercise kickstarted again, so when I finish work in just under 2 hours, I have to force myself to do something. I have a few choices - walking, jogging, stationary bike, rowing machine, Wii fit. I don't want to do any of them, but I'll get something in!

Good morning,

I haven't been on here since Friday morning so I've missed some chatter. I will try to catch up later when I'm not at work. Girls' weekend away was fun. I didn't do horribly with my eating, but didn't do great either. On the plus side, I stayed away from alcohol, but on the negative side I did too much snacking (someone just HAD to bring chocolate chex mix and white cheddar popcorn...two of my favorites!)

Anyway, it's Monday and I'm back on track, going to have a fully OP workweek. Hopefully the scale will be kind on Friday!

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.

Jiggle: I still have the TSP's! I actually wore them this past weekend. I posted a pic with me in them somewhere on the last challenge....not sure if you saw it?

If anyone else is ready for them (size 16's), please PM me your address and I will pass them along!

Ok, I really need to quit slacking and get back to work (and stop spamming this board, lol.) Catch you guys later!!

Lori, please accept my condolences - your family is in my thoughts.

Ended up at 1365 calories for Sunday and 40 minutes on the treadmill, including 3 running segments totalling 1.5 miles. Feels good.

I'm getting pretty consistent with my eating and working out. We are off today because of the snow and sleet. SOOOO I'll be on the treadmill today. I'm also doing a little homeschooling with the two year old. They are going over the alphabet and letter sounds as well as numbers. It seems to me they are getting earlier with these things. Then lunch, naptime and some creative play. Hubby is still sleeping so he will be in charge of creative play after nap.

Northern - Was it exciting when you got in the TSPs? It was for me. I was thinking about you and those pants and wondering who would be next. I have to go back to the last challenge to see the pic because I totally missed that.
