Good Morning! All of that talk yesterday about early am workouts has me up and out of bed this morning! I am about to do a WAPT dvd before work!
Dora--Sounds like a great plan! Now if you just lived closer so you could help me w/ my yard....oh well, maybe I'll get to it next year! I'll be back later! |
Hi there everyone! My goodness - there is no way I can keep up with all these pages! Anyway, please call me Pufff. I wuld like to lose 20lbs during this challenge. That would take me well into the "overweight" category that I'm struggling to hit at the moment. It was DD's birthday yesterday so of course I would have been a party pooper if I hadn't joined in the food and wine extravaganza.... Paying for it today.... Never mind, I know I can do this. No exercise this week as it's TOTM and I cannot mix the 2 for medical reasons but it means that I am looking forward to getting back on track with my "wogging". Good luck everyone and have a lovely day!

Well I already worked out this morning and now I have to finish getting ready for work. I'll check back later this morning at work. Have a great day everyone!!! |
Good Morning!
I had a good run last night and shockingly not sore today. I did 4.25miles on the treadmill (raining here blah) and then walked the dogs about a mile in the drizzle. I'm tired today and just looking forward to making it through work and getting back home! Tawnya - take care, so glad to hear you're safe! Zinke - good job on the running! |

:cheer3: Happy Morning, Everyone!!!! :cheer3:
I didn't end up watching TBL last night. I'm going to catch up later this week. I was just too tired last night :o Thought I was going to fall asleep watching it. Nothing going on out of the ordinary. Tonight I'll be treadmilling & doing my second night of pushups! Happy vibes for all! :goodvibes Hope you all have great OP days :) |
Good morning, Bluesers!
Today is on-plan day 3. My Daily Plate page is up and ready. At lunch, I hope to get on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes and do a fast walk. This afternoon, I'll be headed to the fitness center to use the weights for the second time. I went on Sunday and I still have some residual soreness in my armpits :D but I've not had much soreness. Thanks, Onthetee for the apple cider vinegar bath recommendation. It did the trick! Quote:
Yesterday, I was reading my Jillian Michael's book and took some of her tests. Her recommendation is that I have 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat each day. My goal for today is to eat 1400 calories and meet the 40/30/30 recommendation. Hope everyone has a great on-plan day. :cheer3::cheer3::cheer3: GO BLUE! :cheer3::cheer3::cheer3: |
im up super early today. I did the c35k two days in a row so far this week and my knee is kind of bothering me. i need to try to remember to walk a day in between so I don't over stress my knee. I was in a car accident quite a while back.. but the pressure of jogging/my weight bothers it onoccasion.
im looking online to see if i can watch the second hour of biggest loser right now too. It better be up!! ( house too!) I havn't been working for quite a while where im in the states ( canadian) And waiting on my visa. I nee dto start getting in the pattern of working out in the am before work so when I actually start working it wont be such a shock to my system ( i like to sleep!) |
Morning Everyone! :coffee:
First off I just want to say I'm really impressed with the amount of exercise we've all put in so far. As of 8 am my time this morning we had already logged 4,230 minutes of exercise, that's only 1172 minutes shy of going to all 10 destinations! Needless to say I'm going to have to tweak the exercise challenge a bit, maybe make each week in a new city. I'll figure something out. :dizzy: My morning has been pretty crazy for my standards so far. I have been waking up at 6:40 since the challenge started, but since I didn't get to bed til 1 this morning, I slept in til 7:05. Since I refuse to let the temptation of :mcd: lure me back into its greasy breakfast arms ( I talk about it like its a lover because I'm that obsessed with fast food) I needed to eat breakfast, but not something bad. I only had 5 mins after getting ready and taking care of Lexi, so I was panicking. I thought about it because the idea came to me last night; I was taking my coffeepot to work with me.... Where I work, the bosses squeak when they walk, so hence we don't have a coffee pot or a microwave. (In case you don't know, I work for a small company in the top of a garage. :dizzy:) So I packed my leftover quiche, grabbed a handful of tea packets and splenda 2 packs of oatmeal + the coffee pot and I hit the road. The result is this: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8.../breakfast.jpg Other than my boss driving me nuts on the phone with cell phone cancellations, my morning has been pretty uneventful. I'm waiting for one of them to come in and ask where the coffee pot came from. :s: On a side note, my husband doesn't eat vegetables, so I'm happy to report that last night's spinach & spaghetti squash quiche was not only a success, but he asked me to bring him 2 slices for lunch! :carrot: :sssh: don't tell him there's no meat! I hoped on the scale this morning so I could update my calorie counter on TDP and I'm down 2 lbs from what I weighed in Monday. I was at 211 Monday which was up 4 lbs from my original WI for the challenge due to TOM. Now I've fallen back to 209, so I'm hoping that if I weigh in Monday I'll be all water weight free. I've been drinking lots of tea (another reason for the coffeepot :coffee:) and going to the ladies room more frequently. I'm planning on tweaking the exercise challenge later today and getting that list compiled and posted before I go home from work. I think its time I fire up a new question of the day! Question of the Day or QOTD: What are you doing or planning to do in the next few weeks to insure that you stay on plan? |
What are you doing or planning to do in the next few weeks to insure that you stay on plan?

Chellez: I totally hear ya on sneaking health to the hubby!! My DH is a 'meat eater' but i've manage to sneak flax into his curry and lots of diced up TINY veggies into his dishes as well!
Im still making two meals more or less.. one for him and one for me.. but both are getting healthier everyday!! What are you doing or planning to do in the next few weeks to insure that you stay on plan? I want to start planning my weeks meals and working out for longer since i'm not working right now. I want to try to get up earlier so I have no excuse of 'not enough time' Question. I usually weigh in as soon as I get up and potty and whatnot. This morning I got up early and laid on the couch to watch the biggest loser online before weighing in. My weigh is a big drop from yesterday and i'mnot sure if that's from waiting too long after waking up to weigh in or what. It shows a drop from 262.5 ( which i've been stuck at for days and days) to 259.5. What's your opinion? I guess tomorrow when I weigh in normally I will see. I just dont want my hopes up for nothing! |

I plan to try and get more organized as I tend to eat poorly when I'm not prepared. There has been some talk earlier in the thread about morning workouts. I've been working out mostly in the mornings before I go to work and I prefer it. On Monday am I was unable to go so I went after work and I find I just don't work as hard since I'm already tired from the day. The downside is that the gym doesn't open until 5:30am and I need to leave for work by 7:10am so I only have 60 minutes to work out so I can get home and get ready. |
