The reason I joined this challenge was...I needed the support and accountablitity of a team to keep me on track. And I like seeing others succeed and like to help them as well.
The biggest obstacle I encountered during this challenge was...staying on track during the hot summer, I took a lot of time off of fitness, but am finally back in my groove, just sorry the challenge is almsot over when I got back on track.
I overcame it by...I signed back up for the WATP 10 Day Challenge to jump start me back into fitness.
My moment of biggest triumph was when...I learned to stay within my calories. When I first started, I was eatting over 2000 calories/day and still hungry....now I stay within 1200-1400 calories/day and feel satified all day.
A healthy food/recipe that I discovered I liked during this challenge was...ground chicken and ground turkey.
My favorite way to exercise during the challenge was...WATP dvds
One thing I love about the RED team is that...we were great at giving support to those who needed it and it felt great to see them succeed the following week because they felt good about themselves and the team.
If I could do this challenge all over I again, one change I would have made would have been...I would have stuck to my fitness plans each day, instead of slacking off so much.
My advice to people in future TBL challenges is...participate! your team needs you and you need them. without my
REDs, I doubt I could have lost this much on my own, the accountability
really helped me!
One thing I learned about myself from this challenge is...when things/life get hard, just workout and it helps to destress your body and mind. And to talk things out with people with you're having problems between you.
The next step in my weight loss path is...Stay OP with my food and keep up on my exercise. I had ambitous goals for July and fell short of them, so I set low goals for August....but have since upped my goals (about tripled them), to give me something to aspire to and make myself stay on a good track with weight loss!
