We are having such fun ( groans ) peanut and cashew ( both supposedly boys ) now have baby's. Peanut beat cashew up ( hurt him too ) because she didn't want him around the babies. Some mothers care some don't. She is the first one that has cared out of all the litters we have had. So far she has had only two. I sure hope that is all. The last time we found out we had babies we had 7 one day and 9 more a week later lol.

Morning y'all! The scale shows a 5 lb gain from yesterday! I can't believe my body is so sensitive like that! All it takes is just a bit of sodium and BANG! Instant pounds! I also slacked off on drinking my water too.

I'm back 100% today! headed to do some cardio on the treadmill and then do some resistence band exercises.

See ya!

Hey ladies-
I forgot to post last night so thought I would while I'm still thinking about it this morning, bright and early!
So my successes from yesterday were:
met my dh for a lunch date while all the kids were at the YMCA (love that!)- we shared a meal and it was *plenty*- my dh even said "why don't we do this all the time?!" It's so true- I was comfortable and not stuffed and it felt nice for a change! ANd we saved $$ too! lol

Then last night I had book club- I hadn't worked out yet so decided to walk there and back. I even tagged on extra both ways to get a full hour walk total.

So hopefully these kinds of small changes will make all the difference long term.

I woke up too early this morning so hopefully I don't get too grouchy (it's supposed to be 88 degrees today so good luck with that, lol)- maybe I'll try to go back to bed for an hour. Want to hit some garage sales and maybe hit a matinee later in the afternoon. (walking there, of course!)
No work Saturday!

have a great day!

Wow, what cute kittens. I love kittens.

Jen, my body is sensitive to sodium too. I really try not to eat too much sodium because of it.

Emily, my dh and I share meals too at restaurants sometimes. I like doing that so much better cuz I'm less likely to overeat. Good job finding ways to squeeze in more exercise too.

Jared is feeling better and is actually playing so I am determined to get exercise in today.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning

It is a beautiful day out today . Can't wait to get outside but first I have to take my dog to the vet . My Boyfriend's Sister called us this morning to tell us her dog has Hook Worm. Lovely right?! He was here a few days ago. I'm all panicked now..LOL! The Vet opens in a little while so I'll call an make an appointment. Hopefully then can get us in today. She probably doesn't have it, but I'm taking her anyway just to be safe. She's due for her yearly checkup anyway.

What's everyone's plans for the Weekend?

Jen415~ I hate that! My body is very sensitive to Sodium. The day before I weigh I really don't eat anything with sodium, and I drink alot of water because if I don't I know what will happen...LOL! Drink alot of water and those 5lbs of water retention will be gone before you know it!

Girlfriend, I wish that too, but if you use the yahoo or msn messenger, I think my names on on my profile. That's almost as good, except we'd be siiting our our butt's to chat, lol!

Yup, just the two. Tabby didn't come along until over 12 hours later too. I just knew she was going to be born dead, but she started talking about it right away, so I was glad. The little White one will be a Siamese. They always look white when they are babies and then get darker as they get older. We are prolly keeping him.

Jenn415: Sodium does that to me as well. Usually a good hour on the treadmill and lots of water fixes it before I have to weight in...Speaking of, I am about to head out and do that now.

Did y'all know me and Jenn415 share the same B-day???

I updated my Push-up Chellenge numbers the day before the end. Not much progress in the plank I am afraid. I am convinced the Devil invented that.

I'm free!!! I have a masters degreee! All I have left to do is wait for the diploma to come in the mail

I'm not even going to try to catch up on the discussions today, but tomorrow when the new thread starts, I'll be more active. And today, I'm going running -- I haven't exercised at all in over a week.

I weighed on Thursday, and I was up half a pound. I ate so much, and didn't exercise, that it would not surprise me if I gained half a pound of pure fat. But I recorded it, and I'm moving on, and working harder.

My husband wants to do a weight-loss challenge between the two of us, which is great, but I think his goals are totally unreasonable. He wants to start June 1 and both aim at getting to our goal weights by July 31, which means losing about 25 pounds each in 8 weeks. I'm sure he could do it, he's a tall guy with a lot of muscle, but could he maintain it? And as for me, no way... I love food too much for that, lol. But I'm willing to step up my goals and try for 2 pounds a week, as long as it continues to feel healthy. Also, of course, I refused to wait until June 1... I've got my awesome TBL team counting on me and my body deserves to be treated well immediately.

Hi ladies! Hope everyone had a great week and is enjoying the weekend!

Today is off to a great start for me - I got up, went to WI at WW, stepped on the scale to a wonderful loss. I was down 2.6 lbs which is HUGE for me. I tend to lose by only 1/2 lb increments so after many weeks (months even) of frustration it was nice to see a decent loss this morning. I got home and jumped on the treadmill and got in a 40 min walk. I'm really starting to enjoy exercising and I think adding it in slowly was the key for me.

Have a great Saturday!

Hi guys.

Just checking in.

This has been an insane week for me, and I have badly damaged my left wristm so am really slow at typing!!!!!

On the plus side, I'm finally starting to show a loss on the scale. Not much, .... but anything is better than nothing, which is where I was before.
