AHAhahahahaha, you make it sound like I actually enjoy exercising! hehe, I doubt that will ever happen. I really just enjoy being competitive and successful--I fear I'll drop the exercise like a hot potato once this whole challenge is over

Nope, after this challege you'll sign up for the next challenge, and then the next, and the next...until it becomes your lifestyle.

I really really really need to vent right now.

My downstairs neighbors are pure evil!!!!! 2 previous families have lived below us and NEVER EVER complained about us. But these people do nothing but complain. They said we're pounding around in the at 3am or whatever. Thats such BS!! They've filed so many complaints about us. They've come up here to "talk" to us. And both times they've accused Fonzo of beating me up. The 2nd time, they even called the cops on us claiming spousal abuse. That is some serious allegations right there. The first time they said that, I totally flipped out and slammed the door in their face. The 2nd time, after the cops came..we laughed it off..because the cops could clearly see that nothing was going on between us. We were watching Harry Potter for crying out loud!!!!!!!!

Anyways..so just now, I was trying to make it to 10 mins on the mini stepper. I had about a min to go. When all of a sudden..they started banging on my floor/their ceiling. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I complain when they're slamming their freakin doors ALL day long!!! They slam their doors so freakin hard that the pictures on my walls shake. I already have to limit the kind of exercise that I do, because of them. I walk on freakin eggshells because I dont want to get kicked out of housing. We only have a couple of months left here. When I see them outside, they literly run away from me. LOL!!

Who the heck do they think they are??!?! If theres some random car in their driveway, the assume its one of our friends..and come up here to complain. But guess what..we hardly have people over, because we're always going out!! I cannot freakin stand them. And I'm not the only one either. One of my friends accidentally ran her shopping cart into their at the commissary..and my friend was apologizing..and the woman just got all nasty on her. And my friend, who is the nicest person ever, was just so shocked. It was an accident. She didnt need to be cussed out at. OH..then the one and only time my mom came to visit..they freakin complained then too. They almost made her cry. See, my mom was in a wheelchair..and since we live on the 2nd floor..we had to carry her up, chair & all. The guy across from us even helped. Well..I guess we made too much noise or whatever...because the dude came outside and told us that we were making too much noise and to be quiet. That the noise was freakin out his wife.

Ugh I just hate those people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I wanna do my mini stepper in the freakin afternoon..then thats what I'm gonna do. If I do it after 10pm..then they have a right to complain. But until then..they just need to shut it up!!!!! Quiet time is from 10pm to 6 freakin Am!!!!!

I swear..I'm gonna egg their windows when we move out. (well..maybe not really..but I'll flip them the bird)

OK, now I don't feel quite as bad about my idiot neighbors who keep putting their trash can on my lawn. Yours are worse.

I bet you will surprise yourself. I never thought I was cut out for any type of sports (beyond rah rah cheerleading back in my youth). But my dad is a runner and he slowly got me hooked on the idea and then suddenly I was addicted to running. Then I started biking, then swimming, and then I started doing triathlons! Me! Miss Hates to Sweat! Ha! I think the endorphins from exercise can replace the high we used to get from big, over-caloried, over-fat meals.

So never say never!

Awww Francie - they sound like HORRIBLE neighbors. You should call and complain about THEM, say that their constant unwarranted complaining and hostile and harassing behavior is inhibiting your "common enjoyment" of the premises. I think thats the phrase anyway. Seriously, people who use the system like that need to realize its a 2-way street.

Josephine - see, you are nicer than I am. I wouldn't have moved their trash onto the curb, I'd have moved it onto their lawn - preferably upside down and broken. :P

Amarie~Oh..we have complained about them. We complained about their constant door slamming. And how their backyard smalled like crap all the time. So we couldnt open our bedroom windows. And in turn..that turned into a whole base thing about keeping your backyards clean, lol. Whenever we get a letter or whatever..we call up housing, and tell our side. And they just tell us not to worry about it. But last year when Fonzo was deployed..they went too far as to complain to his command. That one made me cry. I mean..he was in the persian gulf..working his butt off..then he gets called in to talk about our neighbor problem. What kind of crap is that?!?! Nothing happened though..

We have rules here to keep our own trash in our own bins. And they have to be put away after trash day. But maybe you should dump your trash on their lawn??

Francie - Ugh... he shouldn't have to worry about idiot neighbors when deployed! I'm pretty sure there are more important things on his mind.

to shopaholic1204: I am sending you you have great restraint to not be confrontational - hope you can keep that up
and is it possible to ask for a moratorium on the complaints? Is it known by housing that you are about to move?

Francie--That's terrible! Like you need one more thing to deal with!

I must have scared all of the boys out of the weight room tonight--I had it to myself for most of my workout. Have to say, I liked it! Not that it really mattered, I just did my thing and left. What's really strange is that I have found I really like to see how much I can push myself--not too much (I have a bad knee and need to be mindful of that), but even when riding the bike--when I am all hot and sweaty...I actually like the way it feels and I try to go a little faster for a little longer...what?! Did I say that? At the same time, I know this is close to my danger zone...don't want to get over confident and revert to old, bad habits!

Ok, I need to pry myself away from the computer and get dinner going. Have a great night! It's American Idol night. Can't miss that.
