kellybones~ WOW! That's a whole lot of exercise...good for you! I wish I had a doggy park by me. They did make one but it's like 45 minutes away...go figure!

LOL about your last comment! SURE! I really do hate cleaning though. I don't know what came over me. I was just looking around the room and then I got up and before I knew half the room was done.

TTID - it's a shame it's so far from you to Arizona! I'd love to have a house cleaning buddy that didn't have to be encouraged every step of the way (aka Hubby!)

You can buy hrm's at most sporting goods stores and I've even seen them at Target. Polar has several different models and they have a nice chart on their website that can help you choose which features you want.
Thanks for the info. I will go and check it out! Maybe look at Target just to see what they have!

Thanks! He is sore but doing well. I wasn't able to exercise tonight either. He was too anxious and I am sitting with him to calm him down! I will try to get some exercise in tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! My first weigh in for this challenge is tomorrow!! I am kind of excited...hehe.

Phew! All caught up. I made it all week w/o a Coke (or any soda for that matter) so I rewarded myself with one tonight with dinner. Other than that, I have stayed OP today. Skipped exercise today because I was so exhausted, I even took a mid-afternoon nap which is unlike me. So I am off to bed again because I am still tired. Happy weekend everyone!

Good Morning teamies!

I have a Cat about to have kittens today, I think. She's acting all stupid, lol! I am EXTREMELY sore this morning after yesterday's work out. I am debating if I wanna go to the GYM and get at least 30 on the TM but I dunno....

Sooooo, yesterday, even after that 2 hour intense workout, @ the grocery store with the boy, I, for some unknown reason, put 2 bags of cookies into my cart....Then I have these lil' people on my shoulder throughout the store. One was telling me, you worked out hard, you are having your TOM, you deserve these cookies, you can stop at just 2 and so on...while the other, who looked strangely like Melissa, but sounded like Bob AND Jillian, told me this, "You did not just bust your a$$ for 2 hours today working out, to just toss it all down the toilet!"! It was rather annoying, but they just wouldn't shut up, so by the time I got to the register, MeliisaBobJillian won! I put the dang cookies back, and got HEALTHY snacks instead. Nuts, sunflower seeds, fruit. WTH!?

So anyways, it's weird how we play little mind games isn't it? I'm glad I put them back and didn't screw up. I am always searching things I crave on TDP site and once I see how many calories there are per serving, I change my mind. I may just have a nice little lazy day today since it's going to rain. I think I need to rest my muscles. My Shins are hurting a little, so I may just wait until tomorrow since we are expecting a sunny day and go bike riding.

Hey teammies~
finally got back online!! And have over 10 pages to catch up on!! I'll have to do that later. We're going out to our property to cut up some fallen trees and move them and mow the trails and the orchard. I got in an hour workout this morning. I woke up and was flipping channels and the biggest loser families was on so the first hour I watched and ate breakfast and the 2nd hour, I was downstairs riding my bike, 30 min and then some strength training and some ab work. Last night I rode my bike for 30 min watching Ghost Whisperer, went 6.35 miles this morng same time went 7.23 miles. Almost a mile more. lol The bike is easy on my knee right now so that might be what I'll be doing with some outdoor walking for exercise. I figure as long as I'm moving that's what counts!!! Speaking of I need to get going!
Oh I will get my numbers later for the push challenge.
Have a wonderful Saturday and I'll bbl.

LOL Diva! I dont know for sure about Bob and Jillian but I know Melissa FOR SURE would have thumped your melon over those cookies after you worked so hard!! Why on earth would you put yourself through 2 hours of exercise just to negate it all with some stinky ol cookies!! Excellent choices my friend!! I'm so very very proud of you!!

I'm in the nearing the homestretch!! Got my exams done yesterday I got an A on one of them, she hadnt posted the grade for the other yet but I'm sure I did fairly well. Lasnt night I spend 4 hours making cotton candy, popcorn and snowcones for our PTA carnival. That is exhausting work! And I looked like a poof of cotton candy when I left! Today my plan is to get the majority of my Teacher Appreciation stuff done. Tomorrow clean house and then start studying for my last final ever!! That means I'm almost done!

Its looking to be absolutely beautiful today!! The lawn needs mowing already which is my favorite summertime workout LOL!

Okay enough rambling on, time to get that grocery list made! Have a fantastic day everyone!!

i did my weigh in in the thread already....only .4 lbs lost (but did battle TOM during this first section of the challenge)....so i'm happy with any loss.
I'm about to do the pushups challenge....gonna go over there and scroll to my post for the info and then get to work on those numbers....which i had a stopwatch now oh well, i'll just use the one on my watch i guess (if i can figure it out) LOL

Diva -- oh, can I have a kitten?? -- I adore cats, but my big black lab isn't so impressed with them -- not sure if I will ever get one while he's around!!!

Hun.e.B -- Great job on your exam -- I'm always so impressed with all the 3FC's in school -- I can barely conquer a course here and there -- you guys amaze me!!

I spent the evening at the elementary school for my soon-to-be-kindergartener to have a little read-in -- it was cute. And, I was surprised -- we got home at 9:00 -- I put the kids to bed and told my husband I had to go exercise -- would have been easy to blow it off!! However, it is also TV free week for the kids (school activity) and when I do the treadmill, I get to watch TV -- quite the incentive for me!!!

Having a great week, looking forward to my weigh in Monday (for a change).

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
