Counting, have a fabulous time on your cruise! Can't wait to see some pictures

Roni, glad you're enjoying Daily Plate. I've been using it since November and it's just become part of my lifestyle now. I LOVE it. So much.

Karen, congratulations on the loss! And I'm glad you're motivated again. It's good that your triglycerides, glucose, and blood pressure on the right track (even though I don't really know what triglycerides are!), and hopefully the cholesterol will ease up as you continue to get healthier. Just keep on trucking!

Cat, I'll definitely look for the Nike+ track. How do I find it? Just search on iTunes?

Tina, feel better soon!!!! That doesn't sound fun at all.

I'm doing pretty well - yesterday's food I was only 180 calories over, which isn't really bad considering I had dinner out. Today I am going to try to be 180 calories UNDER. I already did 45 mins spinning this morning, and am hoping to do some more exercise during Biggest Loser tonight, assuming I don't get sucked into a team dinner. But even if I do, I am still going to work out tonight, and I am going to choose VERY wisely at whatever restaurant we eat at! Have a great day everyone

Good afternoon ladies! Sorry a bit behind today, things are just crazy here, but that seems to be the normal lately. Well needless to say the stress level is off the charts today and I am trying desperately to keep control over my eating. Cause right now I feel like I could eat an entire chocolate cake and not even think twice about it. Hope everyone is doing better then me!

Thanks for all of the well wishes ladies. I'm still stuck with the ickies and can't seem to get rid of it. I'm going to go out and enjoy some nice 65 degree weather and some sun as soon as I post this, see if that will help at all

Didn't get back here till now that TBL is over for the night, so I'm glad I didn't miss a challenge. I got out of work REALLY early, and it was still light out, so I attempted to go for a run. Unfortunately, I missed a turn, so my 3 mile loop turned into a 5 mile, and I ended up running in the darkness. Not good! I wouldn't do that again, but it was definitely an adventure

I also bought a stepper thing today from someone on Craigslist ($35!), so I did that for just 5 minutes tonight while watching TBL. I had already done 45 mins of spinning this AM in addition to my 40 minutes of running, so I figured that was enough. I ate 100 cals over today (before exercise), but I did it intentionally because of all my working out. Don't want to starve myself!

Hope everyone else had a great night

My boys are doing wrestling too. It's recreational right now, Cam will get to wrestle in middle school next year. We're in our 2nd week of practice (2x's a wk for 90min ea) and the first tourny is this weekend but their not doing it as it's the last hockey game for the semi pro team, I guess that's what they are. But after that it'll be every saturday til May. lol

Laura do an iTunes search for Nike and all of them come up. The reviews were the best for the Lance Armstrong one and the Crystal Method one. I am getting Lance at my 190# mark

I ran again today. Still building up my endurance while making sure to not overdo it on my knees and hips because I get hurt easily with running. Did 1.5 miles then walked, then did a few hill sprints, then a flat sprint at the end. 50 minutes and 500 calories burned later, I was pooped! Didn't do weights because my trainer was out sick, but hoping she is in tomorrow to give me a butt kicking. If not, I will do my own happy little workout again.

Oh, and no burger king today LOL.

Good morning ladies,

I did a GREAT workout last night watching TBL. I started out with weights: chest press 40x15x3, chest incline press 30x10x3, chest fly 50x10x3, tricep press 50x15x3, abductor and adductor (thighs) 110x15x3 each. Then I did my cardio 15 min on bike at level 8 - moderate intensity - 3.5 miles, 20 min on arc trainer at 25 resistance, high intensity - OUCH, 60 min on the treadmill - speed 3.5 doing intervals of walking at incline 0 and then incline 4.0. Some high intensity and some moderate intensity. I earned 11aps last night and feel great.

This morning I peeked at the scale and it was down to 220. So i've lost 1.4 so far and still have 3 days before my weigh in . I am TOTALLY going to reach my goal of 219.8 by St. Patty's day! YIPEE.

Melissa you're doing awesome. I wish I had half the energy you do haha.

Scale didn't budge this morning even after yesterday's workout but that is okay it also didn't go up. Technically it went down .2, so I guess I should be happy. I'm never fully satisfied though, gotta work on that.

Today if my trainer is in (she's been sick) I have a power hour of weights to do - if not I am going to run again. I am focusing on just doing my 1.5 miles this week each time I run and then upping it to 2 miles next week. Slowly but surely with me usually works. Trying to work on that for my eating as well.

Have a great day ladies!

Morning all~
Just wanted to pop in quickly. Got stuff to do, I'm starting my spring cleaning, man o'man!!!
Melissa73~ awesome workout last night! I did 10 miles (40min) on the bike and then did a 20 min total body strength on my exercise ball and standing, just used 5# weights while watching TBL. I think I'm going to try what Jillian said about getting 8hrs of sleep, I average 5hrs a night and wonder if that's why I'm so slow getting this weight off...?
Cat~ great job on your running.
Tina ~ hope you're feeling better today!
Well I better get moving. Everyone have a wonderful hump day!! BBL

Good morning ladies Well I went to my doctor yesterday and she also said it's not pink eye...it's like I don't believe these doctors!LOL! I just can't understand what else could be causing it. Anyways the swelling is gone down some, and the redness is going down, but it still looks pretty gross! I walked into the doctors office yesterday and you could hear gasps...not cool It's like hello I am at a doctors office, and I know they have seen way worse then this. I guess I'm just annoyed because I finally got Mattie and Kyle feeling good and now I can't go anywhere because of my eye! I had to go to the doctors, but I didn't go to the gym last night. I know it's not pink eye at this point, but to other people it has to look like that, and that just wouldn't be cool! I did workout at home though yesterday with a cardio tape. Today is strength training and hopefully by tomorrow I can get back to the gym. Tonight is going to be my 4th OA meeting. I can't believe 4 weeks have gone by...kinda scary! The sun is shining here today though and it's going to be a pretty mild day. My stomach is feeling a little weird this morning. I think the antibotic is not jiving with me or something! I just ate some breakfast though so hopefully that will help. I feel so out of the loop though...I can't wait to feel back to normal. Whatever that is!LOL! Hope your all having a great week so far. We smashed the weigh-in...good going gals

Cathy- I need to start spring cleaning soon. I want to get it done early this year so when spring actually decides to show up I'll be outside enjoying it and not inside scrubbing base board down

cakes- Great job on that workout...so you sprint running up hill? Girl that is making me tired just thinking about it! I'm not a very good runner though. I always think I'll try to run and then after 5 min. I'm like okay I tried!LOL! Great job though on the run and no BK...

Melissa73- Congrats on the loss so far. I was looking at your post in the WI thread and girl your loosing weight like theres no tomorrow Keep it up

Laura- Yeah running at night would scare me...I once went for a walk at night and half way through I was like this wasn't a very good idea. I was so happy to get home...never did that again Great job on the workout though...your a machine~

Andi- Ahhhh 65 degrees sounds so nice Hope you enjoyed that sun and warmth

Kari- How did ya do yesterday? It's really hard for me when I'm stressed out not to binge! Hope you were able to resist

I want to thank you all for the well wishes...that means a lot to me I love this team

My mom sends me inspirational little videos sometimes, and I thought these two were particularly great. Hopefully at last one of the quotes will brighten your day.
